Well in that regard, then yes, Comic Miles is bad. I agree. The animated one, not so much. Sony animations did a great job, and you have to lie to yourself to think otherwise. And Insomniac/Playstation Miles, is.. Meh, alright.

Yes the mm game is fun, sm2 is not worth full price, wait for deep discount then play it on hard, the boss battles are fun and are the best part of a rushed flawed game
SM Remastered is great. Peter is everything you expect from a good Peter, characters are great overall expect MJ who's a being a dick to Pete for no reason. In that game, Miles doesn't blatantly "replace" Pete out of nowhere, he's still a regular teen fanboying Pete and gets his Canon event (Jeff's death)
SM Miles Morales has superior gameplay and much funnier to play but is MUCH shorter, almost feels like a glorified tech demo for SM2. Story is kinda stupid, Pete let an inexperienced newly bitten Spiderman Miles watch over NY by himself while he's in Symkaria "being MJ's photograph" (read it as Pete clapping MJ's cheeks cause that's definitely what probably happened during that time) Also Miles can Beat fricking Rhino shitload of times, but gets BTFO by a girl. This is where it starts getting ridiculous. Also, many unnecessary off topic real life political statements.
SM2, didn't played it yet, but apparently MJ is OP as frick, and can OHKO Kraven's goons while Pete an Miles need to combo them, and she can stand her ground against Venom, while Peter can't lmao. Fricking moronic.

Yeah, it honestly feels like it's being written by AI. The dialogue is so strange and everything is so aimless. Every fricking character is being secretive and stand-offish about their motives and intentions so there's like no point of reference for anything. Every character is the mysterious hardass.
And nothing ever moves forward with the story. Every time you think something important is about to happen, everyone gets separated or they change location. And like you said they keep hyping up these big battles that actually end in like two blows. Even the action is nothing.
Every issue has me wondering if any other human actually reads this shit.
When they turned Al into a woman beating impotent butthole just to introduce Jim Downing I was done.
Spawn was never really good except for maybe the first 20 or so issues which are decent at best. The character is just cool and looks cool
