>How DARE you turn my self insert abusive alcoholic dad into an irredeemable monster, you ruined this film
>You made my magnum opus an embarrassing clusterfrick that doesn't resemble my book series or its characters at all, and make Roland a black man? >You have remembered the face of your father making this film
>Why sure I'll sell you the rights to my old short story about a pagan god. Five bucks sound fair? >Nooooooo you can't just scrap my entire story and keep just the title and turn it into sci-fi, I denounce you!!!
Fragile little homosexual
>I got a sale goin this week only. 6 titles for 6 bucks. you want the story and that title? make it 12 bucks. want a screenplay version? I got an AI that does it easy, no extra charge
I really don’t care about his personal politics
he is the classic tortured artist archetype and as a results produces consistent kino
no one is suggesting he is shakespeare
Just be glad there exists someone like him to produce interesting stories as opposed to the mystery meats protesting in LA now
Not really. He shit out the last three books in a few years after his accident. That's why they're so bad. He didn't take the time to let the story come to him naturally as he did in the previous books.
I liked Blaine the Mono. I even liked the flashback the comprises most of Wizard and Glass. In fact, I hate that the last book pretty much spits in the face of Young Roland and his friends.
no offense but you sound like you have an iq of maybe 100. He isn’t tortured or an artist and his boring disposable politics are emblematic of his boring disposable novels
Stephen King's a pretty cool guy, eh, I read many of his works from the 70's and 80's as a bullied child who wasn't allowed to self-terminate, gets a free pass from me
I was playing Battle For Bikini Bottom which led me to thinking of the guy who voiced Patrick which then led me to think of his role in The Stand movie and finally led me to think this: What's his fascination with magic Black folk?

Doesn't Cujo have a blatant self insert character who sleeps with married women?
I haven't seen Cujo since I was a kid, and I didn't read that one.
>too lazy to make a Drake meme

no
go back to your gay board
Youtuber threads have more of a place on this board than washed up authors.
Kys yourself, zoomie.
Youtube is television now. Get over it homosexual.

>consistent kino
If there's one thing his books have little of it's consistency. Dark Tower goes from his best series to his worst shit over 7 books.
i guess that's what happens when you shit out 1000 pages a year for 40 years
Not really. He shit out the last three books in a few years after his accident. That's why they're so bad. He didn't take the time to let the story come to him naturally as he did in the previous books.
>navel of gan, b***hes
>let the story come to him naturally as he did in the previous books.
I wonder what else was different.
did you just google 'cocaine and alcohol'?
Yes.
honestly it was already losing steam at the end of Wasteland when they're playing riddles with a locomotive for like 50 pages

>read one of his books
>in the intro he openly he admits he writes trash, but he hopes it's "good trash"
pretty based to me
I don't think I'm allowed to adapt underage gangbangs even if I pay him a dollar.
It wasn’t a gangbang.

Boomer brain. Same as his fascination with magic morons. And greasers and rock n roll.
>letting people adapt your stories for cheap
why not? they're basically commercials for his books
He was really mad over lawnmower man though. And I think the running man too
>acts like he could not have been more pleased with the Dark Tower
Really just boggles the mind
