People stopped caring about it after s3. S6 had a huge decline in viewership. Series was already dead by then
It was overhyped and dropped off HARD after the first season, and even just after the first episode. Alias is another show from the same era that was briefly a massive thing and then it got weird, dropped off and now it hardly ever gets talked about
It had too much filler. Half of every episode was some stupid flashback scene which rarely added anything interesting to the main plot.
Everyone realised the writers were making it up as they went along with no plan in mind by season 3 and so stopped giving a shit recognising that there would never be a satisfying ending.
It's honestly too much of a cluster frick to talk about it in hindsight, I doubt anyone who watched it remembers what the frick happened with the time travel sideflash futureflash what the frick is even going on anymore later seasons
>dude they were dead all along ending >"omg they weren't dead all along you didn't understand the ending they were alive until they were dead all along it's sooo different"
Imagine being the morons that followed this for years making shit up in their head and discussing "theories" just to get that final season.
ZOOM ZOOM, ALL ABOARD THE moron TRAIN. TODAYS ENTERTAINMENT WILL BE WATCHING OTHER moronS PLAY VIDEO GAMES AND INCEST PORN. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING ANY LANGUAGE THAT MAY BE MISCONSTRUED BY ANYONE AT ANYTIME. EMOTIONAL VIOLENCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. COMPLIMENTARY TAKIS WILL BE PROVIDED.
People lost interest in the show, that's what happened. They were adults, they watched it while it aired, they were into it, and they lost interest because it dragged on without resolving anything. It was a common criticism of the show at the time. If you think zoomers have anything to do with it I can only assume that you yourself were too young to remember

It is different though
It literally wasn't a they were dead all along ending, that's just straight up not what happened.
It was a dumb ass dog shit ending though
I've started rewatching season 1 with my wife (who's not seen it). It's pretty good but almost every episode has reminded me of something moronic that happens in later episodes. And I'm actively saying to her "don't worry about that, it literally never gets explained"
Lol im literally just watching this. First time was like ten years ago. This shit has aged really well imo, theres no endless boring dialogue about the simplest things. Atleast for now. Also theres a lot of hot people in it who don't look dead inside.
game of throned itself.
First season was so much fricking hype, you wouldnt belive it unless you were around. I was in junior high and everyone was talking about it.
Then it became apparent that the show creators only had a interesting concept for 1 season but had no fricking idea how to keep it going or coherent or deliver a satisfying endng, which killed the rewatchability.
its a tiny handful of people who watched it as children, pretending its good, and everyone else posting maybe in one thread a month about how it was shit.
Cinemaphile didn't exist in 03 you fricking fake tourist homosexual, btw moot changed Cinemaphile to /lost/ for the final season you utterly contemptible tourist newbie

What's that? And where's mine?
I really loved the part where Sawyer and Juliet were in the past with Dharma.

I'm rewatching it for first time since it aired. It's great. Tried making a thread here but there aren't enough oldgays around.
>but there aren't enough oldgays around.
sad, but it makes sense, this show is mellinalcore and most Cinemaphileners these days are zoomers
Honestly one of the most comfy shows ever made

I agree the show should've been shorter but its 100% the fault of ABC for stretching it out and not the writers'
Seasons 3, 4 and 5 are snoozecore, seasons 1 and 2 and 6 are kino

This and the second season of true detective reflect how moronic average tv poster is

When Desmond is onscreen, the show is kino

>wasn't this huge back in the day? why does on one talk about it anymore?
The show had so much discussion while it was airing that there's absolutely nothing left to discuss.
We have regular weekly threads and have had for over a decade you fricking tourists

you need to go the frick back homosexual
I can only go back to 2003 once you homosexuals leave.

back in the day, we browsed every board. this "home board" homosexualry is something cancer invented.
It wasn't that good. Half of the cast was annoying and introducing guns to the island made it a dumb action show.
