the gay romance was far fetched, strange world building, muscular black male character as the henchman they're all afraid of. the show is comfy but you know.
Interesting, unique premise executed well enough; probably going to shit the bed in s2 since they left it in a place where the entire series has to be different than s1 going forward
It was like a week away from finishing filming when the writer's strike started, and the homosexual writers started protesting outside the studio they were filming in so they couldn't finish it. It will be whenever the strike is over plus a week plus like 3 or 4 months for post-production.
Why are Hollywood homosexual writers apparently able to organize a union and exercise real protectionism of and exclusive rights to their labor, but no one else can? At least since the industries were gutted and shipped overseas.
That plus they want a better deal on streaming, currently they only start getting royalties 3 years after a show starts streaming but stuff keeps getting cancelled early and the rest isn't being watched much after being available for so long
>That plus they want a better deal on streaming, currently they only start getting royalties 3 years after a show starts streaming but stuff keeps getting cancelled early and the rest isn't being watched much after being available for so long
unironically makes sense
My theory is that they're not really "doing" anything, the severance chip is messing with their brains and they're just entering into the computer how they feel when the chip does various things, and putting the numbers into the bins depending on the emotion is just to make that less obvious to them, the company is then using this information to improve the chips ability to manipulate people by forcing them to feel various emotions, e.g. they could force you to kill someone by suddenly feeling extreme anger, or to run away by making you scared, etc.
ATV+ has a tendency to massively dropping the ball on second seasons. And Severance is already a complex story. As much as i liked the first season, i don't have a lot of hope for s2. it'll have the same Westworld issues.
You thought it was bretty good and the fox-asian woman was oddly hot.
Would
whoa, she does look like a literal fox. for me though, personally speaking, it's helly
she naked in Altered Carbon
And Animal Kingdom

They'll just hit the reset button like The Good Place.
Many good surreal elements that cannot possibly benefit from any more elaboration. Any further seasons are gauranteed to disappoint.
Thinking of starting this while I go to sleep in 30 minutes. What will I think about it?
or you could use your brain and decide for yourself what you thought of it, and i don't want to hear your thoughts on it once you decide
is reddit on strike again?
That's no fun
r/whoosh
It was great, but it should have been one season.
you liked it
now send me the funny numbers on the back of your credit card

You thought it was great and you can’t wait to see how they ruin the second season
lol came here to say this
i'm scared for a season 2
Joos will fully make sure its ruined. Like poor Lib Lasso
It feels like they rushed the Helly plot to use it as renewal bait, when it should have been the culmination of s2
I WANT HER TO HUG ME
>Skelly R
he saw an opportunity and took it. he failed but he tried. that's based in my book.
neked in altered carbon, she cute
You will eat the bugs
a decent show/concept with a shitty cliffhanger
>season 2 when?
season 2 will be bad
When the frick is season 2

>writers are striking so you can't work on any aspect or you're crossing the line
moronic

>writer's strike
What is the purpose of this again? They are mad they were not getting paid?
Freaking out over AI and tech advancement
everyones happy about tech advancement until it threatens their personal jobs lmao

that reasonable
The quality of the show is ruhined. Don't expect much
It was great but I'm afraid they're gonna expand the mystery box rather than attempt to explain anything. Loved this handsome homie
>expand the mystery box
They don't have much of a choice, how can they explain the whole they are in.
what do we think they do in macrodata refinement?

Removing evidence of corporate wrongdoings without anyone being responsible
I don't know. I've never seen it.
I just want to put my hand on Helly's bum.
What more could a man ask for?
Nice dumper
You thought it was a pretty interesting concept but you're skeptical of where the second season can go.
you thought it was OK but you wished it had more troons and bussy
S1 was pure kino
Interested to see if they shit it up in the 2nd season as so many "le mystery" shows do
doesn't matter coz you haven't marathoned it yet
It was fricking great, who knew Ben Stiller had it in him?
If they manage to not frick it up it has potential to be one of the greatest TV shows ever.
Does it have gay a subplot?
Yes! Between two old men (of which one is Christopher Walken)
