Scorsese laughs at Marvel movies, not the people who watch them. He laughs at them because they can be compared to rollercoaster rides with obvious highs and lows made to garner reactions.
Good comedy makes you think. Bad comedy requires you to simply laugh along with it. Which is what the MCU does.

I'm glad we can agree on something, but does the MCU movies HAVE to be "cinema" or "art". Regardless of what you or I may think of them, they will be remembered for years to come. They will be a part of pop culture, and we can't say that pop culture does not have art or cinema.
