Very charming film despite it getting a little bit overrated because of the main character's condition. Shia is really good in it and Dakota typically hot. It's on Amazon last I looked.

I cried during the ending of this movie. I could relate to Topher Grace's character like you wouldn't believe. 56 years old. Went to Delaware University in 1987 for Engineering, and was in the top 5% of students in my graduating class. I ended up flunking out, returning home, and working at West Coast Video. I constantly ran into friends and lied about having graduated and that I was waiting on replies for internships. Then they stopped coming in. Moved out. While I was still stuck in Iowa. Had a couple flings here and there, but generally remained a burnout. Eventually had an opening at a local hardware store where my dad knew the owner, got an assistant manager position. Now I'm running my own and married.
I don't hate my life, but watching it was like a time machine, going back and seeing my life from a third person view.

That movie is almost exactly what college was for me. When I met my wife she was dating our professor.
Yikes! I liked "Loser". I liked all those shitty films that had American Pie actors in them.
"Loser" became especially awesome to me after reading Mena Suvari's book. She doesn't name names, but basically said she started dating Jason Biggs while doing this film. She says he was the first nice guy she ever dated and that she cheated on him with one of the camera guys on set. Mena went on to boast about the crew member's penis size and was mad he came too quick.
