Tech made it possible to dig up the ghosts of the past when they were better left alone. The filmmaker lost his mom and gf only to see a part of his life commercialized and turned into a bankable product beyond his control.
this is what I don't get because you wouldn't criticize the police on the same grounds, if they looked in to it it would be the same result, so how does digging the past up become some kind of morally bad thing to do? they even said in the episode the angle they wanted to go with was giving the victims a voice and showing the effect that crime had on the community of the town.
it just brings these ideas up and does absolutely nothing with them, this new season is such a load of crap, no idea how the guy that wrote all the episodes before that had interesting ideas and worldbuilding came up with all this garbage

I've forced myself through every fricking episode of every season of this trash fire and I have yet to see a single episode I would even consider watchable. The very best episodes of the show are 3/10s unironically. But for some reason the premise itself means that I'm always interested enough to put myself through this whenever a new season drops. Holy frick was this season awful as expected. Just the worst of scifi storytelling and modern television all rolled into one.

Surprised at how many people didn't like episode 5, I thought it was by far the best one of the series (and the only one worth watching aside from #3).
#1 is for wine aunts, #2 is boring and predictable, and #4 is moronic (I still don't get the symbolism of celebrities being werewolves, wtf does it mean).
The idea of the 5th episode wasn't bad but fantasy stuff is out of place as far as black mirror goes. Red mirror should have been its own separate series.
