Emma Stone is the most patrician Goyllywood ever. e
I like emma stone
Watched it last night myself. Holy fricking kino, Emmabros weren't joking about this one.
For me it's the abundance of feet shots.
For me it's the piss scene
Emma pisses on a dude?! Okay how is this not the best movie ever. Or better, someone pisses on her!
She pisses right through her panties and her feet get all wet in the puddle. The movie is full of feet shots too. I was rock hard throughout the whole movie.
>feet
Mental illness detected.
Golden showers are le good when libs do it
It is not a golden shower. she just pisses herself.
Dude, Madame Webb is in the news cause some dude got kicked out by security for jerking off. Pee Wee Herman type shit.
Do that shit at home in a moist towel.
>pee wee throwback
>when he craoked i got the pleasure of trolling everyone backing him by pointing out he didn't get caught just once...but three times doing that shit
...Peeweenis Herman.
All that coke really did frick him up.
details?
Emma pisses her pants 7 minutes into the movie
Pretty sure that's illegal (in some countries). So if you want an Emma Stone frick doll you're gonna have to go to South America. That's where I'd start. That country has no laws!
As someone who's taken care of morons, they're gross.
I used to date this Cali girl that looked like a 2 dollar store Emma Stone, even with the frog eyes. The things I did to her imagining I was fricking Emma, probably the best 6 months of my life. That b***h move to Japan and I never saw her again.
Spooky eyebrows
Best Lanthimos kino yes or yes.
You should watch Gummo, he fricks a legitimate downy tard.
I wonder if Emma wants to direct a movie herself, this movie was so different from Yorgo's usual stuff that i'm sure she had a ton of input in it
>writing a movie about putting a baby brain into a grown woman's body and turning her into a sex-crazed freak
Hollywood is back
I liked it but I'd put it at the lesser end of contemporary Lanthimos (everything after Alps).
Listening to some women behind me talking about how it was their favorite movie of 2023, I'm not convinced Lanthimos meant things as literally as they seemed to interpret them.
im not a woman and I hate Lanthimos movies, but this is by far his best mpvie and my favorite of 2023.
it is one of the best gothic comedies ive seen, I really can not remember laughing in the theater like I did in this movie. I think this is what Max Landis dreamed pf making when he made Viktor Frankensein
By the way, the fact that I like this movie is probably due to Emma's input in it. I have a feeling she had so much contol over this movie that makes me wonder if she will one day just outright direct a movie
Yeah it’s funny bc it makes fun of a young woman’s natural impulses and developments - crying hysterically because she can’t end world suffering, empowering socialist phase that is actually cringe, running away from a man as soon as he says “your body your choice”.
"Aurora rapist credits Poor Things for inspiring him to defile a Downs girl"
>see Poor Things on Monday
>wait for thread to discuss it with internet friends
>it's a coomer thread
it's a coomer movie you get a coomer thread
sorry anon emma stone is lewd in this movie and as such I must coom
Coomer jokes aside, I kept thinking one could draw some parallels with Bella, Max, Felicity, and the Doctor with Lilith, Adam, Eve, and God, respectively. Pretty obvious observation on the latter, but still.
In israeli mysticism, Lilith was the first woman, and was banished from Eden when she refused to lay under Adam, preferring to be on top.
Seeing the movie through that lens made me think that people were thinking of the themes in way too mundane terms. I've seen lib types criticizing it as misogynistic and others as glorification of libertinism, but I think it's way beyond that.
It's stunning in terms of visuals, too.
Dora >> Emma
Great movie, unfortunately dumb women have latched on to this as an female-empowerment film completely missing the point, and if you try to tell them you're sexist...
Reminds me of Midsommer and mornic takes by women convinced it had a happy ending cause "she found her people and got rid of her cheating boyfriend" and "look she's smiling, see."
saw it over the weekend in the theater with my friend and yep I agree with others here it was Yorgo's best. I'm normally not a Mark Ruffalo fan but he did a good job. and yes, Emma was fantastic. reminded me of one of my ex's - dark hair, pale. but my ex was kinda crazy and Emma falls into herself over time. she's a beautiful woman, good on her
