I had high hopes when in trailer there was crime syndicate
too bad they were on screen for like 2 minutes total and were completely moronic

These haven't looked good in ages. They started pushing for doing two per year and that tanked their whole department. I'm not sure if that's still the policy but it's clear they haven't recovered from that regardless. Under the Red Hood made these movies explode in popularity briefly and they just had zero chill with producing them.

It was a 5/10 like 95% of the DCAU catalog. Didn't they already make an adaptation of this story though?
I stopped watching these animated movies after they ruined Red Son, my favorite Superman story. They cut Lex a lot from the story which is bullshit since he was the protagonist and cut out that great ending when he used his intelligence to almost talk Braniac into killing himself. They also expanded Wonder Woman's role way too much and put in too much woke shit with her.
I understand it's a big story to tell for an hour and a half but they should have made it a two parter then.
I know I watched that movie but I can't remember anything other than the basic concept. I think the last DCAU movie I liked was All Star Superman. But really, they peaked with the original slew of shows. Even Superman TAS which nobody ever talks about or seems to remember is better than basically every feature they put out since with a few exceptions

The story was actually pretty dam good, but the new artistic style of these " tomorrow verse " animated movies are terrible. The new 52 arc had the best artwork and stories, they need to go back to that after this story.

is this the one with owlman? i always wondered why owlman didnt win, if hes right which he obviously is then there will be a universe where every choice you make, the opposite choice or at least a different choice is made so when they have the stand off on earth prime theres a universe where batman chooses not to fight. Thats what makes the twist ending so special, batman always makes the choice to fight and save the earth in every single universe.
BUT, if owlman doesnt prevent the detonation because he believes that another owlman in another universe will, hence "it doesnt matter", then why did he lose? wouldnt there be another universe where owlman aborts the detonation of the bomb, returns to earth prime, beats batman to death, makes another bomb, and then blows up earth prime? if theres infinite earths based on every decision someone in their earth makes then there has to be another earth where owlman does survive to blow up earth prime since this owlman chooses not to.
Maybe he did but destruction may be happening in stages, like a billion universes per second, so they are not in the destruction zone yet. And because infinite earths are infinite they can exist forever in that state. In fact there can be infinite number of owlmen succeeding and their earth can still exist forever if lucky.
