Usagi Yojimbo is one of the only comics I've ever read that actually feels like it's manga-inspired outside of just ripping off a generic artstyle, which is hilarious because I don't even think it's manga-inspired (more just generally Japanese-inspired since Sakai is Japanese).

Not really, it's just a generic superhero comic with patriotic themes (which might have been the authors' intent). All the anti-sjw politics feels shoehorned in and unnecessary but somehow the creators managed to draw attention to it which is quite a feat.

All I’ve seen are what’s retweeted by @POTUSThump, and yes, some of those posts are commissions, but I think some are just random Japanese people recommending the comic too.
Does this really have an audience? I have never seen anyone talk about this outside of these bait threads, sometimes i have seen some pinup pics on social media drawn by popular titty twitter artists, but those are clearly paid commissions to gather attention. Very artificial.
