I wonder how strong Bujin Sword is compared to Geats IX? Obviously not stronger, but Bujin Sword didn't seem to have any trouble shaking off Geats IX's tails this episode.
edgier
Still a Goddess-made power up. And remember, Ace's creation powers are pretty gimped and limited due to not being powered by other people's desires
>Nice work, Keiwa
I know the only reason he’s a Jyamato is because they don’t have the budget for a new Rider suit, but I still love Premium Kekera.
Apparently he and Beroba classify as Premium monsters and not Jyamato. I also really like this suit
>they don’t have the budget for a new Rider suit
That's not how budget works.
There was an opportunity to introduce Riders with insect motifs. Kekera's would obviously be Praying Mantis
> Character is shown to be a frog statue
> Everything about that character's characteristics are based on him being a frog
> He would obviously be Praying Mantis
What?
Premium has Mantis eyes on the sides of the head and is the same shade of greens as the insect
I don't see a frog going "Ree" when I see his head, sorry
The strongest weapon in all Kamen Rider. A completely normal gun.
Poor Micchi. He's just doing his best
Maou/Despair Buffa will break his losing streak
Micchi is the true hero of Geats
He’s a dirty murderer who deserves to suffer
Updated subs before thread archives.
WebM anon, can you make a clip of Daiji being frustrated after Kekera refuses to help him? Thanks in advance.
>Daiji
Just for you.
Another reaction added to my toku memes folder.
I like that the beginning and ending positions for Keiwa in this fight make it seem like Keiwa's just beating his ass forever. Occasionally he asks Kekera for help, but just keeps getting laughed at.
>Copiyng Ace’s line from the first episode
Kinda redeems Ace for only wishing for inane, simple things. Going big is going too far.
Man's turning to the Joker with all that laughing
>Daichi survived
this dude is really gonna be the final boss isn't he
Suel is Daichi from the future confirmed
Will get rider kick'd by Gotchard in the final episode
IWAE!
The virgin racoon, the overlord of hypocrisy, the boy who could protect nothing then blame everything instead, Sakurai Keiwa
Keiwa is the real Ghoul now.
Where's the Joker edit?
>Kekera-san, have you really betrayed us?!
GEGERAZAN
NAZEMIDERUNDISKA
ONDUL ORANGUTANDISKA
>people thought I was crazy last week for comparing last episode to a bad NTR plot
>Jit and Keiwa tie up and mindbreak Tsumuri while she screams out for Ace
I hate being right sometimes
>NTR
Please don't put your shitty fetishes in to my dropkick bugman show. We only have room for MY shitty fetishes, which are Kaijin girls.
So let's discuss how frickable Premium Beroba is.
I don't like NTR either but the setup was right there
>"Best friend" runs in out of nowhere and takes the main girl
>plays with her kindness to get what he wants
>kidnaps her and takes her into an abandoned building
>straps her to a chair and teams up with shady powerful guy and mindbreaks her as she screams for the MC who's powerless to stop this from happening
>last scene is them threatening to beat her if she tries to resist again
I like how it has breasts, unlike the actress. Kinda weird how it has holes in them though.
Takahashi loves his weirdly related relationships in his shows, huh?
You just know that Keiwa's return back to his old self is just going to be done in an extremely stupid way. How many episodes has Geats been scheduled for? Hopefully, Neon's part gets done quickly, and maybe we can have a decent ending.
>How many episodes has Geats been scheduled for?
50 episodes as long as there's no unexpected breaks.
Clearly not enough since the next 2 episodes whatever Keiwa is doing will be sidelined for Neon and her dad getting Fantasy
man can Neon just frick off
Next episode preview is also showing the start of Keiwa's weird cult thing, so I guess we'll see how that happens too
It doesn't even feel like the final stretch. It feels like it's only the prologue for the finale as everyone gets their powerups for the actual finale.
It's that time of the year again when I get tired of the current show and want to see the new one
But you'll get tired of Gotchard by the time of its press conference and first episode
Kekera is literally me.
I love how he is essentially a Showa era fan
dude... i dont think even V3 would stoop that low, and thats the dude who saw his entire family being murdered in cold blood..
if we are going by Showa sensibilities, this is NOTHING like what a showa rider would do. this is what THE GODDAMN BATMAN would do, and by THE GODDAMN BATMAN i mean the one from ASBAR.
I'm mildly surprised some people are acting like Keiwa's turn is "sudden" and "forced". The guy has been blatantly cracking at the seams and gotten more aggressive ever since the reveal that Mitsume was the Goddess. His sister was the only thing left really keeping him sane. He still didn't exactly have a proper job, nor friends. I figured this was the expected direction for his character. The show hasn't been subtle about him being the rep for "good intentions don't necessarily lead to good outcomes" idea.
It's a better turn then Daiji's
It's also going to be a shorter turn, so we won't have to suffer for too long
Yeah this is basically what they've been setting up for all show.
>cracking
This is just not true, he’s just been the typical tryhard hero of justice like Hiromi last year. I wouldn’t say either of them were going insane just because they failed every now and then, you all just assumed he’d go crazy because it’s a regular trope in rider. What’s forced is that instead of just being a darker version of who he is normally like Daiji, he’s become a completely different character. Him going around sneaky and not caring about anything isn’t just Keiwa but bad, he’s completely different. That’s what’s silly about it.
When Aruto went evil due to grief a few years ago, he was still Aruto. He didn’t start acting sleezy and insane, he was just an angrier, sadder and frustrated version of himself. This is not that.
Keiwa acted sleasy when he lots his ambition early on. So he's got the capability for that.
Spending your life on lottery tickets isn’t the same as this. He wasn’t a sleasy maniac, he was a loser. And he still acted the same as regular Keiwa for the most part.
I disagree, I think it's believable that Keiwa always had the potential to be this kind of a person it was just repressed by his ideals of being good and selfless for the sake of others because he's an idealist and wanted to belief in the good of humans, which is something the show has always told him was naive and punished him for. So where have those ideals gotten him? He was treated as a butt monkey throughout the show for his selflessness, he's been betrayed multiple times for his naivety, and now his only remaining family is dead, and that's the catalyst. This is Keiwa cracking, that anon isn't wrong to say that in any way, and it isn't wrong to say this was set up much earlier on either, because it was.
We know Kekera even did all this because he saw this kind of potential in Keiwa from the start. Literally the first episode has him breaking down and asking "what's the fricking point?" and that's just when he just thought the world was ending.
To be fair we have many real life examples of people who behave like Keiwa, just look at Twitter or Reddit for example.
We do?
Yeah they tend to have pronouns in their bios
Those are usually buttholes filled with no actual love for humanity though
>Literally the first episode has him breaking down and asking "what's the fricking point?" and that's just when he just thought the world was ending
There is a difference between a human being going in despair and turning into a schizo edgelord who walks like a zombie. That's the issue, Keiwa is behaving completely differently. He has more in common with the Hell Brothers than someone like Daiji who went through the same arc.
>Keiwa is behaving completely differently
Well, he has power now. Power and people telling what to do with that power. It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Keiwa is willing to restart the DGP only because he thinks he can destroy it again single-handedly once he gets his wish granted.
>Well, he has power now.
Power can corrupt but he was acting like that before he got the new buckle. And it ain't that much power since Geats IX can still restrain him.
>It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Keiwa is willing to restart the DGP only because he thinks he can destroy it again single-handedly once he gets his wish granted.
Doesn't seem that's happening with next week's description
Daiji's arc was caused by fear and hopelessness against Giff, even if I don't like how dragged out it was (along with fricking hating Akaishi) it wasn't like Daiji didn't have reason to act the way he did.
Keiwa also has reason, his sister is fricking dead. Sara was his only family, he cared about her immensely. And now, thanks to the DGP, she's fricking dead just like the rest of his family. That's why he's been going on about "atonement" for the past 10 episodes. If you cannot see how losing her after all this would cause him to spiral I do not know what to even say at this point because it is so blatantly on the nose and clear.
He didn't go apeshit because Sara wasn't dead yet, she was just in danger. But it's the look Keiwa gives Ace that delivers the idea that he can if completely cracked. Keiwa has had his ideals twisted and played with by everyone this whole series, but that was the first breaking point when Sara was in danger and Ace fricked him over again to get Ninja. And yeah, it is just like any regular human, and every regular human has a breaking point when everything is taken away from them and their ideals have led them to nothing but failure and misery.
>reason
You keep failing to grasp that the criticism isn't the reason, but the attitude. Daiji going into despair was bullshit because the writing was horrendous, but as a character himself, Daiji did act the way a person in despair would act. Same for Aruto back in Zero-One when he lost Izu, they were good people turned corrupt due to personal tragedies. But they still acted like a dark version of who they were, Keiwa is acting like a maniac and in a way that has nothing to do with who he was before.
And that has nothing to do with the story or the character himself, it's just Takahashi forcing some edgy persona unto him just because he finds that fun, regardless if it fits the character or not. He could have had Keiwa go into a darker path while keeping in line with how he was in the past, but he just had him go full edgelord just for kicks. That's the issue.
That's assuming a lot about Takahshi's intent as the writer though. What's to say Keiwa didn't always have this potential to become a complete psychopath if he lost everything? What's to say this wasn't planned from the start? What's to say it wasn't even Takahashi but Takebe's idea as producer? For the most part Geats characterization has been incredibly consistent, so I really do not get this criticism. If the reason is there and it isn't actually conflicting with anything to do with the character established before, then what's the problem?
>Geats characterization has been incredibly consistent
Consistently shit
i accept your concussion
>What's to say Keiwa didn't always have this potential to become a complete psychopath if he lost everything?
NTA, but talking in hypotheticals like this isn't doing you any favors. I'll give you the inner demon scene in Movie Battle Royale, but that's not nearly enough to justify Keiwa's jarring shift in personality.
>What's to say this wasn't planned from the start?
It being planned doesn't automatically mean the transition and execution were good, dummy.
>For the most part Geats characterization has been incredibly consistent
Not when it comes to Keiwa suddenly acting like an edgy chuuni clown.
>and it isn't actually conflicting with anything to do
The way Keiwa leans so hard into acting like an edgy butthole is conflicting with his portrayal the whole series. Only his inner demon from the fricking crossover movie acted like this before, but how we went from normal Keiwa to an edgy butthole Keiwa like the one we have right now doesn't feel natural.
Daiji was mindbroken into evil like him but he kept acting like himself instead of suddenly acting like a cringe edgy clown just because he's on the side of evil now.
>Daiji was mindbroken into evil like him but he kept acting like himself instead of suddenly acting like a cringe edgy clown just because he's on the side of evil now.
Okay but a major difference with Daiji is that still had people to protect, that's why he gave himself up to Akaishi's cause because he thought it was the only way humanity would survive.
Keiwa's already lost everything at this point, so Keiwa doesn't have that going for him, he only has revenge and his (now fully selfish) wish to fight for. Which, now that he's achieved that, we'll see how he's really changed, because it should've brought back Sara.
>but a major difference with Daiji is that still had people to protect, that's why he gave himself up to Akaishi's cause because he thought it was the only way humanity would survive
>Keiwa's already lost everything at this point, so Keiwa doesn't have that going for him, he only has revenge and his (now fully selfish) wish to fight for
Anon, Keiwa tried to protect infected people from Michinaga and revived everyone, not just his family. And he's still gonna act edgy regardless, he's even setting up a gang.
>and revived everyone, not just his family. And he's still gonna act edgy regardless,
Reasonable. His edginess allowed him to finally save everyone hurt by this wish granting bullshit. Now he needs to kill everyone related to it so it stops once and for all.
technically it makes sense for someone like him.
>Take down the idiots who killed Sara (Azuma and Daichi)
>Revive the DGP victims
>set up a rider thug gang to take down everyone else, including the DGP staff.
>once its over, leave town and protect the world from the shadows.
if Keiwa is smart, he is not gonna go back home, he knows Sara wont be ok with what he did.
>>set up a rider thug gang to take down everyone else, including the DGP staff.
The new Riders in the preview aren't from his gang though, they're violent resurrected people from another gang who participate in a new game Beroba sets up to ruin his new world.
And he's allying with Kekera despite everything he's seen and heard about him, and he's gonna try to kill Ace, and he fricking gave a new Goddess to the DGP... Keiwa's a complete moron whose plans will obviously fall apart because he got utterly played by the bad guys.
I'm kind of surprised there hadn't been a scene with someone using psychopath level logic like pic related yet in letting some npcs die since they can be wished back.
Damn, the Dragon Balls really did make Goku and the others not care
The titular Dragonballs were ironically part of what ruined the franchise in the end
People complaining about stakes keep forgetting that nips media have long history of reviving and revisiting stuff like dragonball. For me, it's the execution that matters.
You should write for the show instead of the hack because your head canon is more consistent than what weve seen so far.
>I'm mildly surprised some people are acting like Keiwa's turn is "sudden" and "forced".
Don't. Those are cool internet words to criticize a show you don't like so people use them.
Nobody actually cares about what they might mean.
I don't think something lots of us have been seeing since basically the show began is that anon's headcanon.
>I don't think something lots of us have been seeing since basically the show began
Who was seriously expecting him to turn evil before the heavy-handed inner demon scene in the crossover movie?
Episode 9 had him hit a breaking point much earlier when Sara was at risk, now we're just seeing that come to full fruition because he did actually lose her now.
>breaking point
But even then he didn't go apeshit or anything. He was frustrated, but so is any regular human being. If I beat the shit out of you and you get upset, that doesn't mean you secretly have a darkness inside you waiting to burst out and turn you into a villain, it just means you're a regular person who has a natural reaction.
This was also because Ace broke his trust again, not exclusively because Sara was in danger.
And then it was brushed aside for like thirty episodes...
Now imagine if they actually kept this going and we saw Keiwa going further over the edge throughout the series, trusting Ace less and less instead of being borderline comic relief up until a couple episodes ago.
That can't happen anon, they don't want you to have a reason to believe Ace is wrong at all despite being an actual moron that took 2,000 years to even think about trying out the wishes he did in this current lifetime to get this close to the DGP management team. Apparently this current lifetime is where everything just magically works in his favor and the one he makes the most progress in, so Keiwa has to act like a complete moron in order to get any screentime or relevancy.
>Who was seriously expecting him to turn evil before the heavy-handed inner demon scene in the crossover movie?
Noone outside of schizos who can relate.
Keiwa went from a joke to an even bigger joke.
All I know is that the edgy butthole attitude feels forced and is cringe. As for the heel turn itself, they should've pulled it earlier, this is way too late for this sort of thing.
perma >:( face
I like him but he it feels like he was introduced too late
He looks as disappointed with everything as my dad
He's just mad that he didn't get to punch anyone this episode.
He should've been introduced way earlier. I love how violent he is.
Between Samas with her gun and Jit just beating the shit out of our cast with a baton, I'm loving that real violence is actually really effective in Geats
It shouldn’t be in a show that has goddesses and future advanced people in it
To be fair, they established earlier that the advanced future people still have to play by the rules of the era they're in.
He will literally interrupt you having a cute shopping date with your sister to step outside and get beaten with a club.
Absolute beast.
I like him, pretty cool badass. Too bad Chirami took up way too much time in the show when Suelu could've just sent Jitt to clean up Chirami's mess given how competent he is.
I can't really give a shit about this guy when he's introduced this late and barely does anything except show up and be angry for a minute. There's still time for him to do more than goddess stuff I guess.
Keiwa be like
>"Revenge is le good because.... it just feels le good okay?"
if your revenge is against a murderous cult leader, then yes, revenge is good
I think the main issue with stopping him is that Keiwa murdering him in cold blood is exactly what Kekera wanted.
I wonder what Ace will do with Daichi now. He stopped Keiwa from killing Daichi, which means he's responsible for any deaths Daichi causes from here on out. He better keep Daichi on a tight leash or at least have the courtesy to finish him off. Ace just letting Daichi walk away from there would be absurd.
>would be absurd
Which means it’s probably what will happen
man Neon is really fugly
Why did other people find Neon to be cute?
Large buttocks
I don't like Neon's new clothes. She looks even more like a porcelain doll than the start of the show where she was a rich heiress
She's still a rich heiress, she just cries a lot while spending her parent's money now.
I know it's just because they took Seeker's helmet, repainted it, and lobbed off most of the horns, but I wish they had given him a different jaw piece.
This person alongside the pig guy is going to turn out to be the person who killed notNeon AND Michinaga's notHusband isn't he?
I doubt it, since Kousei is probably dealing with them next episode.
>Keiwa's heel turn insert is titled chair
Excuse me?
"About to collapse, but still able to stand for now", maybe?
Put the lyrics into ChatGPT
>Cutting through the silence, "Versus"

>Guided, facing each other
>Meeting at the end of our gazes
>Face to face
>Kick 'em out of that chair, scattering sparks of victory

>The hero's step starts to spin
>Take the chair by force
>In my world, I pledge to revive
>Reach out with your own hands to the border line
>The condition to always survive is
>No pain, no gain
Wouldn't the word throne be better if they're going for the chasing power metaphor?
There's probably a deep metaphorical reason for it about how the chair symbolises the futility of power and how little it matters in the grand scheme of things
Gotta make it edgy for the moment, but not too edgy since he's gonna use the theme and suit when he goes back to being a hero.
>tried a kill a mass murderer and revived a bunch of dead people
Keiwa is still good. He has done literally nothing wrong.
Keiwa is only "bad" because Takahashi hates him.
Did his actor made fun of his fedora or something? Why would you hate him?
Takahashi is just treating Keiwa as the Emu and Aruto since Ace is already the MC
Oh yeah, the worst thing about the Job competition, how Aruto was regressed on the whole braqinwashed Humagears, thing
It really feels like Takahashi is trying to repeat the magic of Emu being brutal towards Parad and Arkruto with Keiwa.
Dapaan us coming back
Da•Paan didn't die, he got retired. And Ace gave him his memories of the DGP back like he did with all Players.
Well he does tie Tsumuri up in a chair.
Kaneki got tortured in a chair then he became The Tokyo Ghoul™
Foolishness, Ace.
So it's DGP The Gang Wars edition?
Keiwa thinks he's running Happy Science.
So Keiwa is running a discount Yakuza clan
>may i introduce my new business partner from Kekcoin..
Neon's final form is looking great
her face looks like a mask and it's freaking me out
It's just the shadow from her hair. But she always had that GitS frickpuppet look to her.
As much as I despise Revice I've gotta admit Revice wins this one hands down. Destream vs Vail was one of the very few good parts of Revice and they handled it really well.
I also enjoyed the Destream vs Vail episodes (minus Sakura and Daiji screaming and or being frickwits in the background), as well as the final two episodes.
Geats easily has the worst episode of these four
>both Takahashi shows have the mascot girl suffering
heh
damn
so she's probably gonna be the one to turn him back
>YOU SHOULDNT KILL EVIL PEOPLE BECAUSE MURDER IS LE BAD
Kamen Rider Geats Forma KEK
I guess the point was more than Keiwa in particular shouldn't kill? Ace trying to limit the shit Keiwa will get emotionally crushed by once he's out of the edgelord phase and thinking clearly or something, I don't know.
It can't be killing in general, given Buffa's free to do his thing.
That's pretty much it. Ace said "This isn't like you" when he stopped Keiwa, not because murder is bad, but because he's acting like a bloodthirsty maniac and he doesn't want Keiwa to do anything that will push him down an even darker path
(me)
It's less "murder is bad" and more "murder won't bring Sara back to life"
that might be it.
Ace is not ok with what Keiwa is doing, but he really cant say he is wrong, so all he can do is at least spare him from actually killing people and do shit who would make her sister to hate him for the rest of his life otherwise... even tho he already killed someone: Tsumuri.
How mad is Ace going to be when he finds out what happened to Tsumuri?
well considering Keiwa's fate is sealed already, i dont think its gonna matter that much. but yeah, Ace is gonna be very pissed.
I'd feel better about this if he himself had killed Daichi. He kills a villain for good and keeps Keiwa from getting blood on his hands. He has no good reason to spare Daichi besides maybe that they will need Daichis brain to bring Sara back. But Ace doesn't know that yet.
Murder won't bring Sara back to life but it would surely stop Daichi permanently from fricking over innocent people.
Does Ace even know that Michinaga was killing Jyamato-ified people?
Ah yes Tomatoes of Knowledge
I have a lot of issues with this show, but ultimately I think what's most frustrating is that nothing the heroes do matters. It's baffling how long the show has gone on, and yet the heroes have yet to do any significant strike back at the DGP management, Beroba's squad, and the Jyamato. The main villains just keep getting away from them to do more crimes and kill more people, most of the work of the heroes is for nothing. I can get sometimes the heroes need to be in dark moments so their future victories can be sweeter, but for like 15 episodes nothing they've done has actually stopped any of the major threats. Geats has reality-bending powers and yet he failed to prevent Sara's death, couldn't stop Tsumuri from being turned into a goddess, or save Keiwa from going edgy. And even Buffa didn't kill Beroba despite having the chance to do so multiple times.
Buffa is the only one who has put an end to at least two villains, but Keiwa can't even kill Daichi, Geats IX failed to kill Suel in his debut episode (he literally shrugged off the main hero's final form like it was a slight inconvenience) and I highly doubt Neon is gonna do much of anything in the next episodes either. Characters like Niram weren't even defeated by the heroes, other villains had to put an end to him.
It's fine if the heroes aren't perfect saviors who stop every threat, but they do have to do better than this.
>but for like 15 episodes nothing they've done has actually stopped any of the major threats
Yeah, that's why we still have 6 (now 7 with edgy Keiwa) major villains running around in the last 10~ episodes. And one of them was almost background character tier until recently, the other was just introduced a few episodes ago, and the potential final boss is someone who debuted just 10 episodes ago (and he wasn't even the main focus for most of them) and has been absent in this current arc.
>Yeah, that's why we still have 6 (now 7 with edgy Keiwa) major villains running around in the last 10~ episodes
Don't forget the new evil riders that are coming just so Neon gets her Fantasy buckle. Dapan is coming back too.
It's mostly a good show, but the plot gets really dumb halfway through and there's too many damn characters to really get invested in any of them.
>Wizard
It's bad, skip it,
>Revice
Pretty mediocre.
>Don't forget the new evil riders that are coming just so Neon gets her Fantasy buckle. Dapan is coming back too
Yeah, but those are obviously fodder except for maybe Da•Paan.
I feel like Wizard really needed to cut some of its supporting cast. For the most time they were just standing there like twats and didn't do anything
Niram didn't die.
Yes he did?
he ded
Probably the best use of the Mary helmet so far.
Oh wait because Keiwa wished everyone back, Michinaga's gay lover is back too isn't he?
I've noticed people using this meme have no taste at all
They're like Kouta?
Incorrect.
Why does the entire cast always go full fricking moron in the final stretch of every single Rider season holy shit
Because when your power level has risen so high that you have reached reality warping strength, you need a whole lot of stupid to keep the plot going.
Not every season, just the ones written by Takahashi.
Psst, you're not supposed to point that out Anon. It's peak writing to a bunch of tards who can't separate the wheat the wheat from the chaff.
what a fricking moron
>its your fault for getting raped/robbed/killed
It's made even worse by the fact that Keiwa should know Ace couldn't have done anything after they learned the Goddess' deal even if he wanted to. The DGP didn't intend to grant any of the Desire Royale's participants' wishes, Mitsume died before Ace could do anything about her, and Ace can't grant wishes like Keiwa's with his current powers.
I don't care who does it, I just want someone to feed Keiwa his teeth before the show's over. He's been an absolute dumbass these last few episodes.
Don't worry Anon, it'll be either Ace the smug moral Oedipal freak or Neon the neko furgay. Azuma has to get kicked around more till he gets his final form.
If Keiwa had one more brain cell he might realize that allowing a new goddess would cause those sins he hates so much to repeat all over again.
But this man can't plan beyond what he wants for lunch today.
>Expecting someone who lost everything and driven to madness to think clearly.
please...
Dont think too hard, Takahashi sure as shit didnt.
Why doesn't Samas just shoot Ace
>shoot Ace
>now have to check every pregnant woman to make sure they don't give birth and name their baby Ace
>Horny housewives probably named their kids after their favourite celebrity
Ace is probably in the top 10 male Japanese names of 2023 in Geats' world
wouldn't even have to go that far
just never recruit anyone named Ace ever again
Really great episode
it funny seeing morons evolve from
>le hecking keiwa keeps getting short end of the stick! look he was barely in this episode! look he hasn't done nothing this whole arc!
to
>what do you mean? this was foreshadowed since the beginning! this is an amazing arc for him! geats is so good! who cares if he's completely different unlike past versions of grieving characters that didn't become a completely new character even from other takahackshi rider
talk about coping lol
Less buzzwords and ESLspeak, please.
>Anons pretending like Geats core theme hasn't always been how far people are willing to go to achieve their selfish desires.
Before Keiwa fought for others, now that his sister is dead he has a reason to be selfish and he's brute-forcing his way. It really isn't that hard to see why he changed.
Just because you have a core theme behind it, doesn't necessarily mean the execution was good.
I haven't been paying attention to Geats or KR in general since the pandemic fricked up things.
Is it any good? And while I figure this is more a question for the general, how were Wizard and Revice?
No it isnt good. Id put it 5.5/10 series. It had a strong start with the first 8ish episodes.
>how were Wizard and Revice?
Did you mean Saber? Wizard is very old by now.
I enjoyed Wizard. It's a simple plot and the characters were just okay. The action scenes and the second rider are great to say the least.
sara should die again from one of the evil riders keiwa brought back
The fact they included a tease of Keiwa's dark side in the Revice movie does suggest this decision didn't come out of left field. It would've needed to be planned with Bandai around the toy releases too.
Also I think the fact this was established as being Kekera's motivation weeks ago, putting a lot of Kekera's earlier comments and behavior into perspective, it does seem like this was planned for Keiwa early on.
Lets be real, the main issue is that Keiwa's actor is not selling being an edgelord too well
It is probably because he is confused as shit as to why he has to act like a completely different character.
i like last week's cope where anons said this is all part of keiwa's keikaku and he's just tricking everyone
Okay, I caught up with Geats, and just caught the crossover movie. I haven't followed a Rider since Build, and that was the first Rider i've followed since Gaim. Anything i've missed in all that that would be worth going back and watching?
That's Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Zi-O, Zero-One and Saber missed.
Drive, Ex-Aid, and Zero-One are unquestionably great. Saber becomes great but it takes a while to get there. Zi-O is flawed but I love it. Ghost is also flawed, more flawed than Zi-O, but there's still good in it.
>That's Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Zi-O, Zero-One and Saber missed.
Drive is a two-parter format police drama. Very similar to W as it comes from the same writer. It's pretty mid.
Ghost is the top candidate for the worst KR series.
Exaid brought a fresh esthetic to the franchise. But it also started some tropes that Toei still use now so it has a lot of hater. Definitely one of the better series tho.
Zi-O is shit as you'd expect from an anniversary series.
Zero-One has great suits, very strong first arc, near-unwatchable second arc and a questionable final arc due to covid.
Sabe is cheesy and cringe, but it has many kino moments to pass off. MC is often meme'd as one of the worst main riders ever.
Revice is utter shit. Never watch it.
Drive is a good show that gets great near the end, the summer movie is top 5 rider film contender
Ghost is mid but there's stuff to like about it all the same. If you're invested in the main cast then I'd say it's worth watching.
Ex-Aid is really fun and also good.
Zi-O has some good moments but it's an anniversary series that feels trapped in being one. The extra episodes they did early on are fantastic though. Ignore Rider-Time Ryuki.
Zero-One is a good show with a slow middle and a ??? ending just like other anons have said. I hear the movie is really good though.
Saber is funny and uhhh
I'll throw my 2 cents in here too, more interesting than discussing Geats. Didn't watch ghost.
>Drive
Slow first half but kino second half, one of my favorites. The movies are good too except Brain.
>Ex-aid
Great and I remember liking it throughout most of it. By far Takahashi's best, also one of the best in general.
>Zero-One
Really good start, painfully bad middle when Thouser shows up and I guess a last quarter that no idea what it wants to do. It's kind of a mess. Pretty much all the side characters get shafted either by being ignored or having amazingly bad arcs (Yaiba).
>Saber
Make no mistake getting baited by the contrarians in /krg/. Saber is dog shit for almost the entire first half and only improves from then on, and not by much at that. But probably has the best secondary of Reiwa (not that it says much).
It's funny that the other replies don't think much of it either. For some reason this series gets brought up unprompted by shitposters comparing everything how bad it is and the other side which say it's amazing.
None are as good as Build though tbh.
>Make no mistake getting baited by the contrarians in /krg/
What a sad, pathetic man you are.
And right on cue here's one now
Yeah yeah, take your meds. I don't care about your opinion on Saber itself, but to claim that anyone who recommends it isn't being genuine and is just a contrarian seeking to bait anons instead just shows how much of a fragile schizo you are, one not much better than the anti shitposters you complain about.
The fact you responded immediately and quoting that part just proves I'm right, on top of now having a meltdown. So thanks for that, you can frick off now.
>The fact you responded immediately
Yeah, I happened to be browsing the board. What, do I need to wait a day after I see your post to reply?
>and quoting that part
Yes, because it's the only part I have an issue with. I don't care if my personal opinions about the shows themselves match up with yours or not (if that wasn't case, I would've replied to other anons too), but you insulting people who have different opinions like that with these ridiculous delusions is downright pathetic.
>So thanks for that, you can frick off now.
I'm not here to obey your whims, I'm here to call you out for being such a pathetic man.
We accept your concession.
>We
Silly anon, you're just a single person. Try taking your meds so that your delusions can stop.
I want to have sexual relations with Premium Beroba
Beroba low key hottest girl in Rider in a long time
No I want the monster, not the human
What was the logic behind casting the tallest MC and shortest heroine in the same season?
But Tsumuri's the heroine
can't wait for this to backfire on him and not bring back Sara because she technically didn't die during a DGP
also would be funny if Mitsume came back since she's technically a victim
Next episode's summary says Sara got resurrected.
NOW he fricking cares? Neon's sideplot is the biggest and most festering malignant tumor on this series.
And to think I actually liked Neon during Geats' Q1 phase
Nothing wrong with that
A lot characters in media are likeable or tolerable at first and then writing fricks you over and makes them unlikeable because the writing is shit or the writers unironically wanted that arc and outcome for them
I think it's less that and more like he's trying to atone somewhat now that he's lost everything and is at his lowest point.
Even though he really should be going to his wife first.
If the plot hinges on characters acting like morons then the plot is bad.
That's literally always been in Rider since Showa though.
>Keiwa murdering the dude responsible for his sister's death
cringe
>wishing to be a Kardashian
based
Kind of neat that the premium cards go back to the Desire Driver voice rather than Kirito. The LRR isn't programmed with those sounds, though, so I'm wondering how they're going to pull that off without a memorial edition or something.
I don't really like how they made Keiwa edgy, but I am enjoying edgy Keiwa. The change in his tone of voice, posture, and general attitude is fun to watch. Guess I have a little bit of Kekera in me.
I'm enjoying it in the sense that I'm laughing at Ace, Michinaga and Neon for being shocked and horrified to see Keiwa acting like a selfish edgelord supreme that's willing to use underhanded and deplorable means to get the world he wanted when he's basically just emulating what they've been doing the entire time because trying to be the nice guy only lost him everything. He's finally internalized the idea that the only way to get your ideal world is to basically crush anyone trying to stop it that they've been trying to push through his thick tanuki skull, they're just pissed it's fricking them over now of all times.
Someone on twitter described Kekera as "A showa rider fan who doesn't understand showa riders" and now I'm wondering if Beroba might be the same for Heisei riders. Unfortunately I'm a complete newbie to rider so don't have a solid grasp on either era. Is any of this valid?
Kekera is about right but Beroba is just a b***h who enjoys people's misery
>Every victim of the DGP is revived
>Every one
This probably includes a lot of people who were better off dead, honestly. I know it won't happen, but it'd be great if some real bastards were brought back along with the innocent ones.
I also think he hasn't thought about just how many people that could be. The DGP has been running every six months for centuries. How many Riders could have potentially died in those countless "seasons?" Would the ones who bit it in, say, 500AD be revived in the present day?
Alternatively, given the stuff we've heard about this new world being wrong, maybe they got revived in their time so the new world is seeing the butterfly affect of all those new historical figures accumulating up until the present.
We did see buildings changing places after Keiwa made his wish, so there's definitely some past frickery going on
Tsumuri mogged yet again
She changes hairstyles every episode and yet not a one has been remotely flattering for her round, fat head.
Sex with Neon.
Keiwa with his K finger henshin pose
Chair is a fantastic song
I wish for a world Saber didn't exist
>The monkey paw curls, and we got Kamen Rider Zero-Three instead
Ah yes, Kamen Rider tri and Kizuna.
What do you wish?
>The same thing as before
>Turns back to zombie
>Leaves
What did dark Keiwa mean by this?
God i wish only pain upon Ace and his moralist high ground attitude. He resolves the issue of Kamen Riders (for Michinaga) and making the Goddess atone for their sins (Keiwa) by just saying lol its my problem now. He didn't do fricking anything for Sara with his powers and now he gets to be morally right again in his dispute with Keiwa. No, you piece of shit you don't get that satisfaction now. Can we just skip the Neon arc which is honestly pointless and fillereven in universe since she is created by a wishand get to the part where Keiwa gets to smash Ace's face in. I just want one good punch, i know Ace will be the smug butthole winning this shit but just once i would like to see this fricker on the lower end of the moral sword. The moment when he even gets to use Neon as a moral support to show how low Keiwa has reached is just embarrassing.
You're just embarrassing
No, you are, by making these low effort replies every single time, fragile Geatsgay.
Anon stated Ace's resolve in that episode ("it's my problem now"), moron-kun.
>fragile
I didn't know Kamen Rider Rogue is a Geats fan
Speedwatcher doesn't even get the true meaning of ace's resolve in eps 39
https://twitter.com/krGEATS_toei/status/1676606679692066817
I LOVE NEON-CHAN !!!
I love Kamen Rider Geats.
So do I
I love Kamen Rider Geats so much, I hate Kamen Rider Gotchard
All me btw
Name their band
Odds n Ends
This show sucks massively, Keiwa was the straw that broke the camel's back, but all of it's issues have been there from the start based on how everything was built to be centered around Ace. Everyone else was always going to eat the shittier end of the moral stick, and Ace was designed to literally be the Jesus you root for. Acting like Keiwa's turn is cool and justified is just pure schizo talking. These characters are downright confessing their ideals, what they think, all their inner thoughts to each other, yet are still picking fights with one another for no good reason. And people say Faiz is a bad show cause "muh miscommunication" when motherfrickers sit down and actually talk in that show.
Reiwa gays have nothing going for them and need Geats to be good or else they can't justify watching the franchise, it's that simple.
>Reiwa gays have nothing going for the
Gotchard will be good
Sure, like the next Reiwa show everyone hopes is good.
Just because I don't swallow up Toei's out of touch shows like a complete and utter consoomer homosexual year after year doesn't mean I don't like the franchise. I'm just willing to call out the bullshit where I see it, and Rider shows haven't been good in a long while. A lot of you homosexuals are to be blamed for sucking Toei's dick and lapping up any collectible Bandai throws in your stupid faces like the good fricking abusable obedient pets you are.
Gotchard being a female will make the next Reiwa show good
Find a new troll, anon. Talking veganas being the MC of a Rider show is literally appealing to long held fanfics the internet's been making for decades which only appeals to horny teenagers and coomers.
Stop trying to groom kids into playing with girl toys anon.
Just admit you don't like Kamen Rider anon.
Agreed on everything except the last part, that was some delusional Geatsgay tier rant.
Have you seen half of these tards who go into bouts of depression when they realize most of Reiwa's been shit and it's the thing that got them into the franchise and that even early Heisei shows slaps the frick out of them? I have.
>Have you seen half of these tards who go into bouts of depression when they realize most of Reiwa's been shit and it's the thing that got them into the franchise and that even early Heisei shows slaps the frick out of them?
I haven't, you're just schizophrenic.
Fair play anon, it takes one to know another. Try meeting some of these Toku fans IRL, you'll realize how unhinge some of them are.
The only thing this post tells is that you're probably a coward loser who talks shit behind people's back.
On the contrary anon, what I say here is what I'll say in person and I don't care if you like me for it or hate me for it.
>what I say here is what I'll say in person
Uh huh, sure.
You can doubt it all you want anon. The truth will always be the truth.
>yet are still picking fights with one another for no good reason
They're talking but just ignore each other and do whatever they want for their "ideal world".
I never understood the Faiz memes. It had a terrible reputation on /krg/ that I was expecting to be soap opera tier levels of misunderstandings but it's actually a very solid show for the first half. I think it shits itself inside out at many points beyond that but nowhere near what I was expecting.
Exactly, they're written like a couple of high school girls slap fighting on who's got the hottest hots.
homies don't understand an ideal world for one is an ideal world for all, that's what an ideal world means.
Faiz and other shows that start like a hot fricking mess like Blade do a much better job at making sense and maintaining character consistency and world building than half of what's coming out of Toei's ass these past few years. Even Ryuki and Gaim do this battle royal concept much better, it doesn't make up rules to cuck it's players from fighting each other to try and make them seem like totally wholesome people who would totally get along.
>homies don't understand an ideal world for one is an ideal world for all, that's what an ideal world means.
Dude, that's a dogshit understanding of things. Your ideal world isn't necessarily an ideal world for me. A devout Muslim's ideal world is going to be very different from an atheist's, for example. That's why they're all fighting for their own version of an ideal world.
No, you're the moron who's applying real world flawed ideologies to the show. And in no way does an atheist's beliefs or a Muslim's belief has anything to do with ideals as it stands. Ideals are ideals because they represent a perfect world, dumbfrick.
What you're talking about is a Wish, a desire, not an ideal. Don't make your stupid religious analogy when in reality it's mostly a non issue tribalistic nonsense that dumb Black folk can't get over and has nothing to do with actual philosophy but "hurr durp my book says this, whilst this gay believes in no book"
I like how you hyperfixate on the analogy like a moronic autist rather than address the point of it, in that the whole point of Geats' character conflicts is that one person's ideal world isn't necessarily the ideal world of another person. You can try and throw definitions around, but at the end of the day, they all mean the same thing to the show.
But sure, keep flinging shit around like a moronic Black person because you can't handle the fact that you have a insanely fricked up understanding of what's going on.
Words either have meaning or they don't anon. In an ideal world, no one would have to even talk because they would be able to communicate their intent with just their mind.
These homies aren't fighting for an ideal world, or even what's ideal to them. They're fighting for what they think they want and they'll go at being unreasonable homosexuals and tyrants whose actions amount to the same thing in the end as much as they want. Azuma and Keiwa have the same desire essentially, but both made different wishes because they're morons and the show wants you to think of them as an ideal fighting another ideal.
Why don't you boil it down for me if you think you have a better understanding?
>Azuma and Keiwa have the same desire essentially,
Hey speedwatcher-kun, you realize that that isn't the case right? Michinaga want to stop more victims from being created. Keiwa wants to save all the victims created thus far, even if it means creating a couple more victims. Seriously, you talk about Takahackshi's writing, but you're not even able to grasp the basic plot.
And again, you're completely misrepresenting "ideal world" in favor of your own moronic definition. If the show defines "ideal world" as "world where winner's wish gets granted', who are you to say that that isn't the case? You don't make the rules. Your dumbfrick definition isn't the be all and end all here. We don't need to follow that for your Black person ass.
Here's a boiled down version that your degenerate brain could possibly understand: My ideal world is that you have a nice day right this instant. Would that constitute an ideal world for you, Black person? Think carefully now.
"Speedwatcher-kun" I see, we're going with the insults that make you feel like you know more about what's being talked about.
Here's how it works moron-kun, these two are meant to be parallels and desire the dead back. Michinaga went down that path with having his friend fake come back as a Jyamato already, he just hasn't gotten to the point of the logical conclusion of his train of thought yet because his moronic ass was too busy throwing a tantrum and trying to beat everyone else out of the path, much like Keiwa is doing now. They simply are doing things in reverse. If Michanaga won enough times, he'd make the same wish Keiwa makes.
I'm not the moron who can't grasp a simple definition in order to do word plays here anon. I'm just pointing out that your stupid show hasn't gone beyond "rrrr I'm an edgy guy who will wish death on you cause that's my ideal world", very much like the tarding out that you are doing now because someone is pointing out a logical flaw in the stupid show.
You go and bake your brain more in your mother's vegana before thinking that you made any profound point. What you're essentially boiling it down to is that these characters are emotional homosexuals who are justified in throwing a baby fit emotional tantrum and you're the same kind of edgy homosexual who think you'll do the same because your two bit brain hasn't thought out a single thing to it's logical conclusion.
>these two are meant to be parallels and desire the dead back
And that's how I know you don't watch the show. You're a joke. But keep projecting about how I'm the edgy one for thinking that different people will wish for different things. If you think otherwise, it just means you have an inflated sense of self-worth with a heavy dose of messiah complex. Just because you think you know what's best for everyone doesn't mean that's actually the case.
Are you Geatsgay only going to fall back on this "this proves you don't watch the show" card? How the frick you gonna say someone didn't do something when they did anon? Just because I'm not mad sucking Takahashi's shitty drama written like an emotional homosexual like you are doesn't mean I don't get what he's trying to do, and he's doing it badly.
I'm not the one who hasn't thought things through anon. Takahashi doesn't put much thoughts into his shows, and neither should you be wasting this much effort trying to cope that it's actually good by doing mental gymnastics over how people are all different when most people have the same basic needs and wants, just on varying degrees of each other and how much they're willing to be honest about it. Unless you're a psycho just like these characters.
Geats is good because it's not Gotchard
Fine, I'll spell it out for you: Michinaga has never shown any desire to want to bring back his friend. None of his wishes so far has been related to that, aside from wanting revenge. Even when he got the power to grant any wish he could, he didn't even try to bring his friend back. Instead, he went straight for making sure the DGP couldn't frick things up for people anymore. It's not "shitty drama writing" when it doesn't follow your headcanon, you blithering moron.
That's why I say you clearly don't watch the show, you just read summaries off of these threads and think that you're some high-IQ logical storyteller when you don't even know basic character motivations.
What Michinaga did was called throwing a tantrum Anon. It's called anger, a phase of acceptance. Once the tard got over it, like a normal person, he would eventually try to bring his friend back, and I bet you Takahashi will write something where all will be happy and dandy because Ace is here to help grant all wishes so people can be happy because he's Jesus.
Throwing a tantrum for most of the show and happening to fall into plot point where you conveniently come into information about the Goddess requiring the desire of the people who lose to grant a wish is not character motivation anon. It's called plot convenience and Takahashi making it seem like characters have ideals.
>Once the tard got over it, like a normal person, he would eventually try to bring his friend back
Holy frick, you're literally just mad that the show isn't following your fanfiction then? You really do think you're some high-IQ storyteller holy kek
Anon, riddle me this. Is Keiwa not a homosexual who just admitted he never actually wanted world peace, and he was only saying it so his sister can be happy? What do you think the source of his sister's pain was? That she misses her parents? That he too misses his parents? Anon, just because you're the type of homosexual who swallows up shitty writing and can't read further into the story other than what the shitty writer says and take things to it's logical conclusion cause you need the characters to be stuck in perpetual character arrestment to even have a sense of what you'd call an "ideal", doesn't mean other people are as gullible.
>Completely shifting goalposts
Lmao, I'll take your concession to heart. As for Keiwa, him bringing back everyone who was a victim of DGP would have logically brought back his parents. There is no conflict of interest when it comes to his wish.
Keep coping and thinking that you're some great genius writer though, I'll eagerly mock your work with my own headcanon if you ever find a publisher for your dredge.
Who said I conceded? I'm still on the same topic, Michanaga and Keiwa are parallels. I'm simply making a point for your moronic ass to understand by shifting focus for a second.
Is Michinaga not the homosexual who has the motivation he has now because of his friend's death? The show makes it all about how his friend's death is the reason he's moping around like a homosexual throwing a tantrum, to the point that he's using the same buckle as well in pursuit of revenge. Does it not cross your thick brain for a second that these two characters were dealing with death in their own ways? In that regard, does this homosexual not, deep down, want his friend to come back? In a fricking wish fulfilling show, where dead people have come back or be remade anew.
This is why you're a gullible homosexual who's willing to suspend even normal human logic in favor of wanking some shitty writer's work.
Also anon, you're getting blood thirsty there, just because you're losing the actual argument and can't see the actual point doesn't mean I'm trying to be a writer or trying to publish any work. I'm just literally using logic and your mind is breaking down at the fact that someone is actually saying the show is shit.
And if you can't, I'll just take it as you taking Takahashi's shitty writing as gospel. Just because Takahashi doesn't understand these concepts doesn't mean it makes the show justified in using word to mean one way and another when it suits it's needs. I'm not the one out here saying other people don't get the show when it presents itself as a hot fricking mess that wants to have it's cake and eat it too.
Also Anon, go cook in your mother's womb a bit more with that brain of yours and then come back with a better analogy. It's a show where you can literally achieve Apotheosis and become something of a God yourself, frick your athiest vs Muslim argument. If you got a problem with those homosexuals, take it out on them, don't bring that shit to me.
I love Kamen Rider!
Passionate lovemaking (with lots of cuddling, kissing, handholding and eye contact) with Neon.
>Neon
Gross
I wish for a world Saber, SEABlack folk, LatAm and China does not exist.
>the entirety of /krg/ disappears
>C-can't you see t-that I'm the logical one here?! Your mind is feeble and can't comprehend my logical breakdowns!
Aight buddy, it's been fun. Let me just point out that you're the one who started shitflinging because you couldn't handle disagreement. But sure, I'm bloodthirsty. Keep telling yourself that while you get mad over your fanfiction.
Black person, I came in here saying the show was shit and I intended to prove my point. Just because you homosexuals want to whiteknight a shitty show over some moronic sense of obligation is not on me, and neither is all these levels of cope you went through in assuming quite a lot about me when I'm just sitting here shitposting over a lot of your asses.
You went from assuming I didn't understand the show, to assuming I didn't understand words, to assuming I don't understand the characters, to assuming I speedwatch the show, to assuming I don't watch the show, to assuming I must have read the threads on the show, to assuming I want to be a writer.
You had nothing but cope over this.
>Assume assume assume
>Meanwhile his entire argument is assuming the "logical" conclusions of character arcs
Aw man, I want to leave you alone baby, but your bait is too good
You’re both moronic, but
is more moronic than the other.
