Half the episode is made of meaningless scenes that don't advance the plot in any way but are here to fill the air imposed air time of 75 minutes (scenes with the FL family, including - i kid you not - crazy wine aunt #279, scenes with the ML family etc. every character being a walking cliché)
Now I do not doubt a single moment that given the choice (like on one of those TERRIBLE streaming platform where no fix runtime is imposed) the team would have left half the episode on the cutting floor... but as it stands it's barely watchable if you have the pleasure of possessing a penis.
Enjoyed this week's Blood Free. I really like Han Hyo-joo's performance so far.
Some Day or One Day-likes (the back-to-highschool time travel/loop romances with a bit of mystery) usually do pretty good for themselves, not surprised. They're never huge giga hits, but they tend to end up with really dedicated followings.
As an on-and-off kdrama watcher, I haven't seen her in anything since Shining Inheritance. Her acting has greatly improved. And her beauty hasn't deteriorated at all, especially in comparison to Joo Ji-hoon who has aged in a less vampirical fashion

You do not have a kdrama tag, but if you can find a user list with tons of kdrama in it, sort it by ratings, you'll see that it is actually very reliable. Compare the top 3 imdb I gave you with the top 3 on mdl (goblin, strong woman, weightlifting fairy): just lmao
Finally, let's address your "marvel" point: the latest marvel slops are rated 6/10 and 5.5/10. On the other hand, the latest kdrama capeshit, Moving, which is way better in every aspect, is rated 8.4/10. Pretty reliable if you ask me...

However, I don't think the director (Queen of Tears) was the right fit for the craziness and twists of the story, her direction is too flat. I think there's a reason 95% of this gal's script are directed by Park Chan-Wook, they work so well together.
That said, Mother is directed by the Flower of Evil guy and it works very well in that case.
Just finished Sky Castle and while I like it for the most part I fricking hated the ending. I hated how the FL basically suffered no consequences for the shit she did all season and how all ther characters were congratulating her for being so strong and brave for giving the evidence she was withholding to the police to arrest the Ms. Kim. I also hated how they tried so hard to make Ms. Kim sympathetic and tried to redeem her at the end. I couldn't believe when the mom who's son Ms. Kim nearly ruined came to visit her to cheer her up and to tell tell her she hoped she was releasd quickly so she could reunite with her daughter. The only characters I liked by the end of the series was the Pyramid family and Hye-na who did nothing wrong
