They're not meant to be watched with full, undivided attention

Quickly caught Lovely Runner ep 12 early this morning before work and was hella disappointed. Things seemed way disjointed and I hated the dad bathroom subplot (why not wipe away the shampoo with the towel next to you, why not wash away the shampoo with clean water from the toilet tank, etc.). But watched the ep again right now in a relaxed and comfy mood and absolutely loved it, including the silly bathroom subplot with the dad, who I found hilarious and endearing. You really gotta watch kdramas in the right mood.
I'm glad Queen of Tears didn't have too many flashback scenes of the main couple during high school/college and kept it to the epilogues or small parts.

Quickly caught Lovely Runner ep 12 early this morning before work and was hella disappointed. Things seemed way disjointed and I hated the dad bathroom subplot (why not wipe away the shampoo with the towel next to you, why not wash away the shampoo with clean water from the toilet tank, etc.). But watched the ep again right now in a relaxed and comfy mood and absolutely loved it, including the silly bathroom subplot with the dad, who I found hilarious and endearing. You really gotta watch kdramas in the right mood.
I'm glad Queen of Tears didn't have too many flashback scenes of the main couple during high school/college and kept it to the epilogues or small parts.

Idk how it'd be for a first time kdrama watcher but I really liked it a lot. Cast is great all around and the leads had good chemistry imo. Kim Hye-soo and Joo Ji-hoon are both veteran actors. Some people have issues with the FL (very grey character) but she's one of my favorites
