the murders were mentioned at the beginning, then there was a really long time before anything happened again
I feel like they should have kept Leo's role in the muggings and threats a secret, so as to make the final reveal more compelling. knowing he was in on it the whole time gave me no reason to believe he was conflicted in any way

Thinking Cinemaphile watches movies
I watch three movies yesterday.
I don't watch movies anymore, maybe once every couple months I'll watch one. Instead most of the time I'm doing what's called "maladaptive daydreaming" where I go around my day as normal except in my mind I'm fabricating my own perfect movie that plays 24/7 in my mind, and I get lost in the plot, the setting, the characters. I've got chapters and seasons full of a dozen different movies in my head. I listen to orchestral music and "epic soundtracks" to give me inspiration to create more imaginary fantasy. It's amazing. Feel sorry for all the uncreative unimaginative gays who are forced to sit down for 2 hours to watch a movie when I can do that all in my head.

3 hours 26 minutes is insanely long for a movie in cinemas. Idk why studios/theaters don't use intermissions in the US, not only does it give the moviegoer an opportunity to use the bathroom but also to purchase more snacks/drinks which helps the theaters.
it didn't feel that long, the movie is broken up into clear sections and as long as you've got some caffeine to help you concentrate you should be fine

I did today and it was very disappointing. More disappointing is realisation that Scorsese will never make kino again.
it felt like a mix of different movies, almost like they didt know how to deal with the story tonally
for some reason there was a steady stream of humour throughout which made the last ending fall a little flat.
