Chris Hemsworth was surprisingly good I loved seeing him go from revered leader to despotic hated warlord whose own people begin to rebel against him, his downfall was really well done and I loved his design changes over the course of the film. Immortan Joe is still my favorite Mad Max villain but I think Dementus is my second, such a hateable bastard.
Dementus' people didn't turn against him. That was the citizens of Gastown. The only one that may have turned against him was the devil horn dude, because he was pissed at Dementus for killing his men when they took Gastown. But they just went rogue and left Gastown and started attacking the war rigs.

tbqh Miller started planning Fury Road in the late 80s and had a few false starts through the next decades, which allowed him to retool and rethink the project as much as he needed. by the time it actually came to be he pretty much had the entire movie sketched out with Brendan McCarthy plus a good idea on how to allocate costs to build all the vehicles and shit. with Furiosa I think Miller made the best with what he had

I think I like the idea more than the movies. The movies are good, but it feels like they never realized the full potential of their setting. Bronze Age in the future is a really good idea.

It's not quite that the movie directly leads into Fury road because Dementus' fate (should you choose to believe it) requires years to grow, the time in which Furiosa could've gained the favor of Joe and gotten to know the Wives. But I do dislike this ending and would've rather preferred it to be Joe inviting Furiosa to his inner circle as a reward for hunting down Dementus.

Chris Hemsworth was surprisingly good I loved seeing him go from revered leader to despotic hated warlord whose own people begin to rebel against him, his downfall was really well done and I loved his design changes over the course of the film. Immortan Joe is still my favorite Mad Max villain but I think Dementus is my second, such a hateable bastard.
Dementus' people didn't turn against him. That was the citizens of Gastown. The only one that may have turned against him was the devil horn dude, because he was pissed at Dementus for killing his men when they took Gastown. But they just went rogue and left Gastown and started attacking the war rigs.

tbqh Miller started planning Fury Road in the late 80s and had a few false starts through the next decades, which allowed him to retool and rethink the project as much as he needed. by the time it actually came to be he pretty much had the entire movie sketched out with Brendan McCarthy plus a good idea on how to allocate costs to build all the vehicles and shit. with Furiosa I think Miller made the best with what he had

Wish we got more well made vehicle action scenes, Fury Road really spoiled me and the tanker chase in this felt kind of underwhelming and looked weird.

Furiosa's childhood took place roughly from 2020 to 2032.

It's not quite that the movie directly leads into Fury road because Dementus' fate (should you choose to believe it) requires years to grow, the time in which Furiosa could've gained the favor of Joe and gotten to know the Wives. But I do dislike this ending and would've rather preferred it to be Joe inviting Furiosa to his inner circle as a reward for hunting down Dementus.

I kind of wanted to write like a very diverse wasteland, where each state is different. Like North/South Carolina is now called “The Great Carolina” and is inhabited by numerous different tribes who are at war with each other, or have Florida just be a giant marsh land where people ride mutated alligators through the swamps like horses. Kind of like a fantasy/post apoc mix
