I like Neeson but his character shouldn’t have exited. It should’ve started out as Obi Wan training teenage Anakin. Yoda trained Obi Wan, not Qui-Gon Jinn
To play unbiased Devils Advocate to your image. Yoda is Grand Master of the Jedi Order, the only man to ever hold that title in all of Galactic History. Its safe to say all Jedi of that era would look up to Yoda as a wise teacher figure of sorts
The prequels have aged pretty badly. Recently I went back and watched The Phantom Menace after probably 15 years and most the CGI in it looks like shit and it's everywhere. The OT have aged much better in comparison.
The Phantom Menace is the most polished and accomplished Star Wars movie IMO.
