Can confirm.he said he sold tv at best buy, haven't watched the movie in over ten years but I remember that line because the black thief guy talks to the black cop guy and says "how do you like following a guy who sells tv" and the cop says "about as much as I like following a guy who steals them:

I recently watched it too, can't remember which streaming service, and it was severely cut. Some things I remember that were cut

      >sold tv's at best buy line
      >having to shoot the mall door in as zombie attack
      >black preacher ranting on tv about homosexuals
      >girl asking how they'll know when CJ shoots the propone only for it to be a massive explosion
      >a couple other zombie scenes

They cut all good stuff, not just random filler. Super pathetic.

americans used nasty cgi gore to cover up breasts despite there being breasts later in the movie. bizarre puritanism.

none (grab more guns i guess), his death was really dumb and contrived. he and ving watch the zombies running up, getting real close, and guy just tells ving to go. there was another door inside the bus (that jams when he tries it) so he had an exit strategy but still dumb.

I genuinely do not get the massive hate that some people give the Snyder remake (Granted it's definitely not the majority since most normalgays like the movie) the old version is the better film IMO but there's loads of boomers that just handwave the remake Dawn of Dead as shit and never elaborate beyond a generic "HE DIDN'T GET THE ORIGINAL" and/or crying about fast zombies

It's probably up there in my top 10 favourite remakes

      Anonymous

There's hate for Dawn 2004? As far as I've ever known people tend to like it. It's just the original conceptually but with that 2000s ZS charm that actually works. It ain't a masterpiece but it's definitely better than his new movies.

The effects in this movie are underappreciated, particularly people/zombies getting hit by vehicle's were phenomenal at the time and I can't think of better ones that predate it.

        >There's hate for Dawn 2004?
The only hate I have for it is people thinking it's some 10/10 god tier horror movie that's better than the original. It's a fun little 8/10 horror movie, but's it's no masterpiece. It has flaws. I hate the fan base more than the movie, essentially. They are such sycophantic kiss-asses when it comes to this movie.

Zach Snyder fans are rabid animals but let's not pretend that he never made good movies. Dawn of the Dead, 300, and Watchmen are all good. Yes his new movies are hot garbage but that's because Zach is a manchild that doesn't know how to make anything original; that doesn't make his early work retroactively bad.

Well, he was a cop in uniform that fit him perfectly, so not likely he stole it or anything. I actually work in security, so I can understand the guy in OP's picrel. If I got stuck at my place of work in a zombie apocalypse, I would absolutely lock it down and not let anyone in or out. It would take a lot for me to trust any outsiders. A cop that seems legit would be one I would trust, since it's not a civil war scenario or anything where you can't be sure what side they fall on. A cop in an emergency is just going to be trying to help people. The only totally unrealistic part about the movie is the cop would NEVER relinquish his firearms to the security guards. The cop would probably leave before doing that, even in a zombie apocalypse.

the only way humanity survives a zombie apocalypse is through the ones with immunities

      Anonymous

Well, if a zombie scenario ACTUALLY occurred, it would have to adhere to the rules of biology and science, and zombies would be basically imobile piles of mush within hours. The human body needs things to function. A rotting corpse with no blood flow = muscles don't work. No blood also = no healing, so flesh would rot to the point of uselessness in short order also. Meaning a zombie apocalypse would only last a few days at most. Most people would survive if they just lock themselves in a safe place. The exception would be supernatural zombies. Then we're fricked.

        Anonymous

        >zombies
        >adhere to rules of biology and science
Pick one dummy. If you’re sticking to biology and science dead means fricking dead. There is no such thing as a realistic zombie.

        Anonymous

The point of zombies IS that they're supernatural. The original zombie was a person being controlled by witch doctors using voodoo magic. Corpses that can walk, eat and technically "live" forever are inherently fantastical which is good because we have so many interpretations of the living dead. If you can suspend your disbelief that cadavers will start eating people then you don't have to care about realism.

Zombie movies are fricking dumb. If there’s a group of people with weapons they need to spend 12 hours out of every single day just killing zombies. Within a few weeks ten people could reasonable kill a hundred thousand zombies, even with homemade spears and shields when they run out of bullets. But no, instead they frick around in a mall for a month and build an ATeam bus which immediately gets swamped because of course it does. Just like those morons on the walking dead who let an army of zombies build up on the fence of their prison and only send one dude at a time out to patrol the fence. Everybody works all day to kill zombies and you would quickly gain control of the area. Fricking tards. Also why in the blue frick did it take so long to remember the lost art of a fricking spear. You know, an at range stabbing weapon?
