ah great so New Vegas isn't safe for Bethesda rape
Todd will take revenge on Obsidian. Prepare to see Joshua Graham get raped.
>every positive, masculine, honorable male role model must get subverted
It's all but guranteed. Place your bets on how they frick up the Burned Man.
>male role model
>video game character
>characters can't be useful exemplars of humanity unless they from thing I like
Can I get you a bucket to help with the drool?
that he is gay and loved Caesar and that's why he banished him
the question what I'm asking myself is what kind of ending will they choose because none of the 4 endings would make sense
>Independent
boring
>Mr. House
House, knowing that Vault-tech has weapons that are far superior to him, would never dare to create the strip first but would wait and take out Vault-tech.
>Caesar´s Legion
would use RobCo technology to conquer multiple territories
>NCR
They would then have lost to Vault-Tech despite RobCo robots, which makes the idea funny.
are you impying that daniel and graham weren't jerking eachother off every day?
Ouch, they’re gonna make him into some sort ultra-homosexual. The raping continues
NONSTOP ASSRAPE
one does not simply walk into mordor
>freeside and outlying suburbs wiped out
They're canonizing Fallout DUST aren't they
it wasn't wiped out
it was never canon to begin win
t. todd "big man" howard
Mormon colony wiped out by bugs?
Jesus what is that dogshit quality
Here have it in actual 4k
My theory is Dale Cooper was working for Mr. House who wanted revenge for New Vegas being destroyed by the NCR.
what do they eat
Cram
Big Cums
bugs
penis
THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS BABY
I need some autist to shoop shit around the outskirts
I refuse to believe they're going with the bad ending as canon
>no roads in or out
>no collapsed highways
>no freeside or westside
>no camp mccarran
>no monorail
>no nellis afb / boomers in the distance
>no tops or gommorah, just lucky 38 and ultra luxe
It reminded me of NV's concept art
It's a little boring how decrepit the place is to be honest. It'd have more potential if it was more lively looking. A completely dead New Vegas won't really feel too different from any other town in the wasteland if there are no lights and casinos operating.
Why the whole area is so fricking empty?
yeah where are the lush Vegas jungles??
Are the showrunners moronic? What’s even the appeal of setting things in Vegas if it’s just as decrepit and ravaged as Los Angeles and other major cities?
New Vegas wasn’t iconic just because “hehe Vegas so funny! casinos and strippers!”
It was a city among the ruins, with lights that could be seen from miles and miles. You can see the city’s lights the entire way from Goodsprings, to Primm, to Helios One, etc. It’s supposed to inspire awe the first time you come up the crest and see the lights shining from the Tops, and is the israeliteel that the largest superpowers in the post-apocalypse West are vying for. Caesar even sees it’s the only city that would be fit to make his capital.
This is just so boring.
You have to accept that these adaptations aren't for anyone who will ever play the actual games
“Make it gay and make it boring” seems to be a Bethesda staple
What really bothers me is "Year Zero Toddslop."
Play Fallout 4 and look at the buildings/settlements. It's 200+ years since the bombs, and everything looks like it was nuked 5-10 years ago. The Boston map has so many brick and stone buildings boarded up, but intact. People would absolutely rebuild better buildings, reuse bricks and stone from whatever got destroyed. Everything has to always be a sheet metal and wood board shanty with Bethesda. Look at the growth/rebuilding in Shady Sands in the first two games. Look at the settlements in New Vegas. In those games humanity is actually trying to rebuild. In Bethesda games the nukes and FEV apparently regressed mankind to a state so moronic that we are literally incapable of stacking bricks in a line.
>regressed mankind to a state so moronic that we are literally incapable of stacking bricks in a line
Haven't been to St. Louis or Philly lately have you?
Demographics status?
>Demographics status?
American
das rite
Look I realize this makes sense logically, humans rebuilding, cannibalizing old structures, etc.
But think of it as from a "genre" point of view. People like post-apocalyptic settings to be post-apocalyptic. I want to see ad-hoc pipe-guns and sheet metal shanties. The scrounging for scraps to survive, not being able to trust people etc is what makes the setting good.
I dont want to live in a "rebuilt" world, I want my characters to suffer.
This was the worst aspect of the Walking Dead show too, btw. The second they settled down in a town and started farming, the show got super boring and they ahd to make contrived reasons to give them struggles.
Rebuilding is realistic but its not a fun part of the genre.
Yes and no. With rebuilding you can see the differences between regions as new cultural identities as they emerge. Plus, growing populations lead to expansion, which creates buffer areas and conflict zones in the hinterlands between civilizations. That was a big part of NV. Those hinterlands will be a mix between more developed settlements, camps, military bases, tribal settlements, etc. We saw all of that in NV and it made for interesting gameplay. The rebuilding itself may be boring, but what it leads to when civilizations emerge and encounter each other is fertile soil for good storytelling. That's one of the reasons NV succeeded.
I feel exactly the same way. You've just described what makes the strip ie new vegas a unique setting and they've strapped it of that, and now its like literally any other place.
Here's hoping it's the time of day making it look that way.
Yes, hopefully it is just the time of day. During the daytime the strip does look pretty unremarkable from a distance in-game. It's the night lights that really make it stand out.
>Legion took the dam but damaged it in the process
>Helios One's solar array was bombed
>huge power outages throughout the Mojave, New Vegas stays mostly dark
>episode where the protags participate in a third battle of Hoover Dam alongside the NCR remnants
>Goggins throws the switch
>long, gorgeous cinematic shot of the Strip lighting up once more, a shining brilliant beacon in the wasteland
I mean, that would be pretty cool.
Deathclaw. You see a skull 5 seconds before this shot
>could have had Kyle approach the city at night with all the lights on
>nope, had to have it be broad daylight so all the fans worry in the years before the next season that the city might be destroyed
good fricking job they did
>NCR retconned into being nuked before New Vegas
>legion retconned into non-existence, which means Fallout New Vegas is retconned entirely
>BoS is huge again for no reason
why would I watch this dogshit if I actually like fallout?
They said New Vegas is still canon, and the chalkboard in the show did have the nuke sometime AFTER the "fall of Shady Sands" in 2277. So it's possible they could still make the timelines work, though it is a bit sloppy.
Of course we don't know which ending of New Vegas will be chosen as canon.
Why destroy Shady Sands
Agent Cooper because his wife left him to lez out with Lord Moldybutt instead of staying and helping him make vault pickles
Because you can't have any one faction get too powerful if you want to keep the story going, and having a nice functioning society clashes with the whole wasteland vibe.
There was already talk of the NCR overexpanding and struggling to hold everything together in New Vegas, so the NCR having collapsed 15 years later isn't totally out of left field.
Like I said, it's a bit sloppy but it's not a total disaster.
I just hope the Strip isn't desolated as it is on the last ep's credits
Agreed. Hopefully the tease we got is just a "realistic" interpretation of it, rather than it just being a ruin. Without the lights and casinos and what not it's just another boring ruin.
>Because you can't have any one faction get too powerful if you want to keep the story going
Just introduce a "new" faction, the Legion, and start a war. I know the Legion are kinda fricked up at the time of FNV, but you can still do things like have the BoS or Enclave start some shit with the NCR on the side making the war with the Legion harder.
They should have just made it canon that Ulysses nuked it. Would have made the lore a lot more interesting. Maybe the Courier failed to stop him or even agreed with him.
>legion retconned into non-existence
>brotherhood of steel chapter we follow uses gold/red insignia and mostly have Roman names
>can’t put two and two together
Erm? So where is my legion???
>wipe the slate clean is canon
elija bros, we won
BIG if true
First time using Cinemaphile in six years, how badly is Cinemaphile with redditors, bots and straight up feds posting shit and shilling atm?
Tired of using small alternative imageboards, but I can't handle using a normalgay infest shithole.
>how badly is Cinemaphile with redditors, bots and straight up feds posting shit and shilling atm?
high chance the worse it's ever been,
>number one complaint for the game is how tiny vagas is
>make new vagas tv show
>somehow make it even smaller
>watching toddslop
kys
I hope they don't make him a mustache twirling bad guy in season 2. They've already straddling that line with the writing in the finale, but it still felt like the writers allowed him to have his own justifications for everything he did, instead of just making him evil. It was a mistake to make him the one responsible for the nuke, he should have been involved in that happening but not be solely responsible for it.
But regardless of whatever morality and judgement the writers may pass off on him in the finale, it felt like to the very end of the episode, he genuinely believed he was doing what was right and good for his daughter. It's way more interesting to explore that than just turning him into someone evil for the sake of being evil.
>make him the one responsible for the nuke
That was odd
Even funnier? It was a Fat Man
>Paul
>Doesn't have a single scene taking Mentats
A shit.
>kino
they made this canon, i cant decide on whether its based or not...
Reddit series
what do they eat
fricking Black folk
We are living in a world where a mediocre show is being praised by braindead homosexuals and unironically bots.
And Toddslop just can't handle that he is a pathetic little man, he will never be a big guy neither a good designer and storytaller.
>everyone that likes it is braindead
tell me something, and answer honestly. Do you actually watch anything at all, or are you just complaining? My hats off to you if you're a genuine filmgay then you are completely justified in your distaste for slop. But a lot of these people b***hing about slop seem to literally only watch slop.
I rewatched The Lion King recently. It's unironically a deeper, more emotionally complex, and smarter movie than 99% of tv shows made for """adults""" today. This movie is recommended for ages 6+. I would ask you to have a nice day if you unironically think anything produced today isn't braindead, but if you do then your mind and soul both are already dead so it would be redundant.
It's "Hamlet" so it's gonna be intelligent.
>I would ask you to have a nice day if you unironically think anything produced today isn't braindead
My reply to you wasn't even hostile, I don't know what warrants this response. What I said is true, a lot of people complaining and pretending to be above slop LITERALLY only consume slop.
Me asking you if you're a filmgay and you answering that you watched a baby movie by disney as a response isn't a great look by the way. I may have watched Fallout and enjoyed it for what it was (brainless entertainment) but at least I can console myself knowing that I watch actual, real movies and real art too, I've watched most Bergman films, I've watched Tarkovsky, a shitton of french films and I'm not afraid to watch slop and treat it as such, I don't need to pretend to be above popcorn entertainment. You seem to have a superiory complex from watching old baby movies, good for you I guess.
this homie being pretentious because he just watched the lion king
>Some random guy nukes the most powerful faction in the games
Betheshit writing
>The Courier will be a troon
Your writing
Pajeer Black person, do not redeem Fallout 3
Given modern day TV productions, I'm guessing we're not seeing season 2 until 2026 at the absolute earliest
Avellone tried to warn you.
sped watched the series
about as good as the twisted metal series
lots of globo homosexual shit
neat scenes within
ghoul character is fun
protagonist b***h has her moments
troony knight is gay and dumb
lots of potential, could be good if they thought through and not dumb it down
get rid of the reddit jokes and themes
