I took SSRIs for a year or so, it help get in an exercise routine, advance in my career, get better sleep hygiene, deal with my drinking problem. Then I got off and kept those routines and have never been happier. Dont listen to people that demonize pharma, or people who tell you it will solve your problems. I always asks this question to patients right away to figure out if they really are autistic.

"Do you do things to upset people that you know are *fricked up*, then when they get upset, insult you do you get a rush?"
If the answer is yes, they really are autistic. Not exactly what you could call autistic more like bpd/schizophrenic but autistic I think you understand better.
That's my question for anons. Do you say things that you know are fricked up, get insulted, then get a rush from the "you" if so you have bpd/schizophrenia which you is your own fault by burning out your own limbic system and draining your brain of all it's "nutrients". I'm going layman terms here.
And then the follow up question, do you constantly do the same exact sequence or use the same "bait". If so yeah you need professional help and some suboxone as soon as possible, you are really fricked up and will never get better on your own.

Can you just stay in one thread? If yes, you just need therapy.
Certain people need constant feed back because they burnt out their own neuro chemistry constantly looking for a high which is harder and harder to get until they can't get anything, go numb except for extreme ups or downs and then they always kill themselves or get help.
Same old shit like any addiction.

If you are completely miserable and hate life and also refuse any help or efforts to try and fix yourself unironically why not have a nice day? I don't say this to judge the act, it's your life do what you want, but if you find yourself in constant pain and misery why not just close the book?

      Anonymous

Because it's hard af. You literally need to have a nice day in the most violent and brutal (and also painful) way possible or else Dr Shekelstein will resurrect your half dead corpse so you can spend the rest of your miserable life as a vegetable. What a philanthropist!

        >Because it's hard af.

No its not. Get a gun, a big one, rent a cabin with no neighbors for a few days, go out and have a nice day barrel in mouth.

So now you know, so why not go do it? Why drag out a miserable existence for decades?

Embrace and commit to a self-ascend spiritual ideology. Read up on Neoplatonism, Hindusim Christian Mysticism, Kabbalah, prana/chi/pneuma/numen/holy spirit connections, Hermeticism - find self-similar teachings and embrace the truth that all things can be conjoined, all things exist and are one, but don't fall for the ego death meme. Not self-transcendence, but self-ascendance. Realize it's all one thing, you're a completely unique part of it, alive and aware, the whole thing IS you and you get to control it. Live in the present, not the past, not the future, there must be there a "will", just "is". Every emotion, every thought, every action is real, this moment is what is real and makes the future. Choose what to harbour in yourself and what actions to make and things to think and feel.

    All is motion.
    All motion is forward.
    Always be moving forward.
But that's the trick of it - you're always moving forward anyway.

    Find your truth, OP.

                >Assuming that anything has to exist, my perfect world would be one in which everyone has experienced the annulment of his or her ego. That is, our consciousness of ourselves as unique individuals would entirely disappear. We would still function as beings that needed the basics—food, shelter, and clothing—but life wouldn’t be any more than that. It wouldn’t need to be. We would be content just to exist. There’s only one problem in this world: none are content with what they have. We always want something else, something “more.” And then when we get it, we still want something else and something more. There is no place of satisfaction for us. We die with regrets for what we never did and will never have a chance to do. We die with regrets for what we never got and will never get.

                no, you're not

Yes you are. The matter and energy that compose you in this moment, passing through the configuration known as you, have never been in you before as they are in this exact moment. Nothing is truly self-similar, even at its core, not even when it was all packed into a single point.

I wonder why the immediate reaction from so many people to a different, positive perspective, is instant vitriol and hatred. You must be deeply fricked and horribly insecure as a person to feel such revulsion from a message of hope and personal freedom. I suggest waking up and stop gobbling down nihilistic materialism like the soul numbing drug it is.

Therapy doesn't work for people with real problems
    >poor people
    >fricked up childhood
    >divorce
    >health issues
    >real abuse
All we can help you is to help you cope with the issue and give you obvious canned answers for your problems. You still have to do the things yourself. My consultorie is full of 15yo girls and soi with non-problems like normalgay relationship, '''depression'''' (do nothing about life and wonder why isn't best thing you ever felt in the palm of your hands), 'anxiety' (lol) and more bs. People with real problems can't be helped with therapy because real problems can't be talked out of them, and they have to do the things themselves anyway
No one is gonna talk you out of how your dad raped you since you were a kid till last year.
You either kys or do something about it.
Real problems don't need 'mental health' that's BULLSHIT and doesn't work. You gotta love through it and do something. You don't need me to tell you 'you gotta get going maaaan'. You could do it yourself.
Yeah, things like schizoprenia are real things but your shitty ex, or your 'depression' or your existential crisis are a non-problem. Go do something pussy
Therapy doesn't work because is about helping with life. And real problems can't be talked they need real solutions

For now, you'll have to settle with this website criticizing your mental health for your desire for something different.

Reddit can do a better job in talking about movies. In fact Reddit is more open minded and stays on topic about movies than this website.

Unironically how do you do this? I'm 21 and I just a week ago I made my first friend since middle school... he's a weirdo my age who studies programming and he likes nerdy shit and he's also kinda autistic so he's just like me.
He's also my half-cousin or some shit, we shared phone numbers and we've texted for a bit but we havent texted since last week, I've no idea what to do now or what to talk to him about... I literally havent had a friend since i was 13 (before I even had a phone) so I dont really know how to chat to him or whatever. Do I ask this guy if he wants to hang out again or something, or would that be awkward and I should leave him alone. What if he says no, i dont want to be alone again.
How do people even socialize and keep up with this shit. i just dont get it and i wanna kill myself more...

    >can't get off my arse to study even now, the last day, to at least try and get a passing grade
    >I'm just sitting here with my stomach and head killing me from anxiety and insomnia
At this point I legitimately think the universe is trying to tell me to give up. Either I don't try and my life is a steady decline, or I do try and everything gets much, much worse. It doesn't matter what I plan, it doesn't matter how hard I try to get it right, no matter what, I lose. I lose again and again and again. I could plan something as simple as to order a hamburger on Saturday, and on that particular day they'll take 1.5 hours to bring it, it'll be soggy and cold and whatever else. It doesn't matter, everything I plan ends in failure.

I just don't know anymore. I'm tired and I'm past "caring" in a sense. I've assumed and internalised failure but I also cannot just give up and wait to die. However I can't see any other option for me.

LITERALLY all you have to do is

    >stop eating goyslop. Water, milk, lean proteins, whole grains, fruit, and vegetables should be 99% of what goes into your body. No processed shit.
    >sleep at a regular time and wake up at a regular time (ie 10pm-6am)
    >stop watching porn. This is one of the biggest ones if you are currently watching porn daily.
    >fap no more than once every 3 days or so, and only if it’s to your imagination
    >no weed, cigarettes or alcohol
    >have an activity you do once or twice a week that involves interaction with other people (group sports, volunteering, film club, whatever)
    >have a decent job you can at least take some satisfaction in. If you hate your current wagie or NEET situation, learn the necessary skills to get into a better fit for you.
    >limit your time on internet timesinks (Cinemaphile/youtube/etc) and TV/movies
