Nah Superman always ages about the half as a much a normal human (he’s middle added while Bruce is old) and he’s been under a yellow sun his entire life.
I’d say 200~300 is the max you can expect a Kryptonian to live.
Yeah he ages, but he stays old and lives for a frick ton of years, I don't think we've ever seen a story where a yellow-sun-powered Kryptonian just dies of natural causes.
There's never really a consistency to it. Some versions of Clark had him living to see the universe die and looking like he does today. Others have him growing gray in a matter of years. says it best, Kryptonians age however the writer decides.

They are currently back to saying that Clark is essentially immortal. It apparently plays a role in an upcoming story.
Growing gray isn't the same as dying, I think if Superman is old they'll draw him as such, but like I said, they never really go out of their way to write him dying of natural causes.
We've seen him live hundreds of thousands of years and remain as an old man in some stories.

How would that even work? The sun is predicted to go supernova and be destroyed in about 5 billion years while the universe would live on for almost another 20 billion.
On Earth, our yellow sun makes him a god. But how close to the Earth does he have to be? If he went on Mars, would he lose a fraction of his power? How far would he have to go before the decrease would be noticeable? Jupiter? Pluto? Out of the galaxy altogether? And what happens if he visits a galaxy that has multiple yellow suns, would he become ultra Superman?
If you go by DC One Milllon and All-Star he can live indefinitely as long as his cells are supercharged by Earth's sun.
If you go by JLA Beyond he remains in his prime about 1.5 times longer than an athletic human (Bruce) but is on the decline so probably a little over a hundred years.
If you go by silver age stuff and Whatever Happened normal human lifespan since he gives up his powers with gold k so he doesn't outlive Lois.
Superman is the only Kryptonian under a yellow sun that lives to potentially see the heat death of the universe because he is the special snowflake Kryptonian. Every other Kryptonian under a yellow sun will die eventually, especially Krypto.
Does Krypto die of natural causes here? I assumed he died in a fight or something.
Have we ever even seen any super-powered Kryptonian die of natural causes?

Best Dog died only because it was editorially mandated by Didiot before that butthole got deservedly shit-canned.
Is there a in universe reason as to why Kryptonians look like humans? Is it the "ancient ayyyyys nabbed some humans and put them elsewhere" stargate stuff
As long as the story needs them to.
On average, my best guess is as long as a human under a red sun, and almost forever under a yellow sun.

The question was how long they are supposed to live, not how they age, Superman slowly ages into an old man but then pretty much just lives forever.

They've really been pushing supergod lately. Ever sicne the backlash to his depowerment he's become golden age tier over the years.

Until Rao explodes.
>backlash
>from probably like 20 people
Oh noooo Superman isn't
>checks notes
Complex Multiversal 6 dimensional anymore! They cuck him bros!
When only 20 people read your comic I guess they listen. Seems like an overcorrection though
Guarantee there are people who actually think like this.

Speaking of Kryptonians, what's your favorite lore for them pre Clark being sent to Earth

I always assumed that if Krypto died it'd be defending Kal like in pic related.
I don't think there has ever been a story where any Kryptonian dies of old age.
Superman will never die.
He-Man killed Injustice Superman.
Really? That's how Injustice ended? A Masters of the Universe crossover? Holy kek
Until Godzilla kills them? That blast legit stopped Clark’s heart
Did Godzilla eat Superman and then shit him out? That would basically kill Superman emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.
Genetically engineered perfect humans, I imagine they stay relatively fit into their 200s.

According to current retcon/canon, Perpetua did it.
>Perpetua
Ah good ole Perpetua.
>opens tab
>google
>Perpetua DC
Perpetua did everything so that doesn't count.
