I went into last year thinking MI would be better than Fast X because all the stunts were real. But, Fast actually was funner, despite the charisma vacuum that is Brie Larson (MI made some shitty choices with clumsy ass thief girl making the stunts look less exciting despite them being real).
So play MI's game a little. Still go nuts with bullshit CGI nonesense. But give me a real stunt of Dom getting dragged by a rope behind a car and having one of his buddies drive up and he climbs in the dark to safety.
You can make that happen with relative safety and the combo of having a real stunt or two in with your bing bing wahoo car action cgi will action give us a satisfying ending.
Also, yes. Just steal Iron Claws ending and have Dom die in the climax...and then it cuts to him racing so we think he made it out alive, but it pans over and its Brian and they are racing in Heaven.
