freckle looks legitimately pissed off here. throughout this entire interaction, actually, he looks pretty agitated at rocky specifically.

course i remember, i've read it maybe seven times now
i just love how pissed off he is here because i think a lot of people interpret his character at the most surface level when he's definitely got some genuine anger issues brewing.
Man, I am scared about what that head wound is going to do to Rocky.

Aside from the fact that killing people makes Freckle feel awful whenever he sits down to think about it, it looked like he was upset with Rocky telling Ivy something about his past. He dodged Ivy's questions about it earlier, and he looked awfully upset when he learned that Rocky did give her some kind of answers (even if they were vague). There are hints that some ugly incident in Freckle's past is a sensitive topic to him.
When I first started reading the comic, I thought Freckle was gonna be a sweet and innocent kid with a pure heart. But reading further into the comic made me wonder if he might actually be the most unhinged character in the whole cast. Even if he feels bad about killing people after he's already done it, he still transforms into a genuine terror whenever his adrenaline is pumping. I think he's frustrated with being the baby-faced doormat, and he vents his rage during the shoot-outs.
I'm mildly surprised he's got a biography on the characters page.
all of the minor supporting characters had biographies on the character page circa volume 1~2

anyway, freckle
rocky is unhinged and everything, but i think it's probably better for him to externalize that manic energy the way he does because at least people are prepared for it, and it's not getting bottled up. freckle is just as unhinged, but all that catholic guilt is choking down his impulses and now he's got these extreme violent outbursts that his cousin is exploiting.
it's actually pretty interesting that the entire lackadaisy speakeasy is employed through exploitation. i'm pretty sure that's meant to be an important theme throughout the comic. freckle is 100% being exploited for his mental problems

I thought one of the reasons the stretch goals for 2mil was only blue rays was because they were thinking about using the cash to extend the episode lengths? This is conjecture, but it’s possible we may get something closer to 20 minute episodes.
we'll see the pig farmers, nina, lacy, edmund church, more of asa, etc etc. there's plenty of supporting cast in the beginning of the comic

well, yeah, i'm just saying we have options. the pig farmers were explicitly mentioned in a stream- tracy said she was excited to redesign them a little bit and write them again.
