No idea, but I still have to catch up on some of the later movies. The problem is a lot of them suck. I've watched up to the 10th movie, and haven't heard any good things about the movies that come after.
The DTV market has dried up quite a bit
I suppose they could try using them for streaming service fodder but I imagine they (fairly reasonably) assume interest has waned out of a profitable demographic
Maybe look to a reboot in a few years to try to capitalize on people who grew up with the movies that have kids now
I just assumed it was some kind of rights thing, like when Warner Brothers made that Blazing Saddles TV show for a few years that was purposely never aired just so Mel Brooks wouldn't get the rights to the franchise. Maybe there's some kind of deal where Lucas or Spielberg would get the rights to the franchise if it went dormant for so long.
I've seen plenty of people complaining that the 11th is pretty bad but I think it has more to do with the fact that they don't stray too far away from the valley that the movie itself

The second movie came out 30 years ago, if they grew up with the original the vast majority you would aim for either have kids now or they ain't making them.
It was a weird direction to take the sequels, turning them into semi-musicals, but honestly I find some of the songs pretty fun so I'm ultimately fine with it.

The Wisdom of Friends
The dumbest creatures known to man ruin everything and Littlefoot is a moron too
>you already have one
KINO
13 cannot be a real summary
What the frick kind of dinosaurs are they even supposed to be?
Apparently they’re supposed to be Beipiaosaurus
>Beipiaosaurus
Oh, okay I guess. I figured they were going for something like a small therizinosaur so that works.
Nice thread, good to see some dino pals

1 million keks
Has science gone too far?
Life uh, finds a way
Cera's future daughter is so cute
He unironically been proven right in multiple movies and the most logical adult. Despite still being a canon racist.
Wasn't there a pro segregation movie?
In the first damn movie they talk about how all the species keep to themselves and don't associate with the others.

I’m disappointed they didn’t do anything for the 35th anniversary.
Really? A shame
It had a theatrical release where I lived. I know, because I went to it and was surprised that it was a Lucas/Spielberg spearheaded the film.

Between the movies and TV show I love how much of it there is.
Does anyone have a 1080p version of the TV series?

Is to look around
For something to CHEW!
For me, the 15th movie will always be The Seven Hunters. It feels like a very nice conclusion to every major story beat.
And it's just a really really good fic too
Ah man, that part where they're hunting in the forest was my favorite
I should probably draw more TLBT stuff
TLBTQ+ please.
Did you have anything in mind?
Dunno, that’s the thing. Maybe I’ll end up taking more Cera
I'm gonna go take a shit.
Write the Primal crossover:
>Primal land or whatever is just a fricked up distant area in the mysterious beyond
I enjoy the joke that Plague of Madness is that crossover and the Valley got wiped by the disease
Write the Jurassic Park crossover
Rexy is a good old gal, I'm glad she found some friends
Chomper should be able to help with two way communication between them
Any The Land Before Time movie with singing in it is automatically bad.
I can't name any that doesn't have at least one
The first one isn't a musical. It has the one song, but it's not sung by any of the characters or anything.
Mother of pleb
