Something has genuinely been lost by their invention. You watch a 70s cop show and there will be a scene of him holed up in his office at sifting through old case files, trying to find the killer. Nowadays he just hits search on a database and gets a match instantly. In a heist movie the characters had to get into a place to scope it out, now they just google some pictures.

They don’t call themselves trans to do this. It’s actually much simpler to crossdress, there’s even a show about it called Drag Race

They call themselves trans because they don't just get off to being dressed as a woman. They want people to pretend they are one. It's like porn. They start off thinking about getting fricked. Then they wear some woman's shoes or socks and jerk off. Then they start wearing full outfits. Then makeup. Finally they're claiming they should be treated as a woman.

Met a girl in school studying to be a comp sci major who was sort of the alternative loose archetype. She would wear some really revealing clothes, but she was not good at coding. Just leeched off the other dudes in the class. Fricking stupid women, they need to stay at home and clean and be mothers, not waste our resources going into a field that they will be incompetent in

        Anonymous

I'm starting to notice feminist narratives are falling apart. I rarely hear people saying women are just as competent as men at everything these days. I think they're finally giving up the LARP and admitting it to themselves. It was always a stupid notion. Men are better at some things and women are better at other things, and that's a good thing, there's nothing wrong with it and never was. They got psyopped into believe it was wrong. But it's just specialization. We evolved this way for a reason. I think the development and mass availability of birth control gave women an identity crisis because they had to start LARPing as men instead of fulfilling the natural roles they were evolved for. Imagine if they developed a pill that let men give birth and we all started sitting at home trying to shit out babies through our buttholes and nurse them on our hairy man boobs.

My freshman your programming professor was a lady and one of the first people in her university to ever use a computer. Wonder why programming was initially seen as feminine. Maybe the association with typing and secretaries? I'm not even sure they were using keyboards at that point so I don't think that's it

so uh these early woman computer programmers everyone's always going on about...anyone have any examples of their ingenious code? surely one of them came up with an amazing sorting algorithm, or a graph traversal? surely there are loads of examples of their awesome overlooked work like hidden figures (except real). SURELY they weren't doing glorified data entry

Tbh cybersecurity nowadays is mainly SOC compliance and the like and making sure developers follow it and making sure the rest of the company has sound policies around sharing sensitive information

That's an overly simplistic view and assumes all security infrastructure in place for an organization is 'perfect' and unchanging. Cybersecurity can be pretty involved, especially at software companies. But her job is likely just part of compliance, and she does routine busywork to check boxes on a SOC audit.

            Anonymous

            >That's an overly simplistic view
i mean i guess but many companies just hire a "head of security" to make sure they fill out the SOC compliance which is basically just a checklist and for them to handle the SOC auditor that comes once/year i think because no one else wants to do it. i mean it's serious shit especially when you have clients that require you to have SOC compliance but it's overestimating how much many of them do at their job

I didn't code for the back half of my last job. Depending on where you are you literally do not have to code and make sure everyone keeps up with compliance

      >I do cybersecurity

Yes this gave it away, anything more technical than being an operations center tech requires at least some 'coding', if anything for automated tooling and configuration management.

      LMAO
      >We have tools that already have the code within them
So.. programs? Although if she had any idea how programs worked, she wouldn't refer to them as having code inside. It's the compiled binaries they are running.
      >my coworker did have to code a certain parameter
You don't "code a parameter". Parameter is a variable given to a function as an input. It's kind of like she's saying "I'm a chef but I don't cook. My coworker had to cook a flour to a cake once. I have a chef degree btw."

In Jacksonville fl there's a group of schools called the River City Science Academy that exists solely to shoehorn inner city jungle bunnies into STEM careers. One of their campuses has a giant mural of a bunch of niglets with a big S.T.E.M painted next to it.

I have no problem with Black kids going to a STEM school if they want to and have the grades.

I already said that I believe in meritocracy, letting the best and brightest advance naturally. Trying to force morons and mouthbreathers(blacks and women) into these programs is a recipe for disaster, which we're already starting to see the effects of. I've known plenty of diverse individuals in my career that were extremely talented and competent. But I've met a whole hell of a lot more who were there just because they either had a hole between their legs or because they weren't a white male. And now the entire paradigm has shifted from being "do-ers" to "talkers". Like I also mentioned earlier, nobody that graduated with a 4 year engineering degree and went directly to the workforce, in the last 5ish years, is doing any engineering. They aren't building or creating, they're sitting around in conference rooms talking about solutions to problems that they created.

Sadly this sounds very familiar. I'd like to defend the study programs a little bit though. At least in my uni, the funding for basic courses is quite limited. Additional courses need to have some other source of funding or be part of a project (i.e. "aagh save me EU"). Naturally globalist institutions don't want to fund boring stuff like engineering and we get to learn about sustainability and cultural dimensions. Some of the professors seem like good guys who would want to arrange more traditional courses.

It's infuriating. Every year it gets worse and worse. The 23 year Olds fresh out of a bsee program at some state uni don't "engineer" anything. They're more concerned about powerpoints and pronouns in their email footers. I got out of that office scene and went back to field service because it's so annoying to watch these people exist.

If it’s publicly funded in the intercity who the frick would go there except intercity kids which are disproportionately black?

Not every campus is in the ghetto. They treat it like a magnet or charter school with a waiting list and an application process. And then they bus the niglets down to the whiter areas, and vice versa with the white kids. This is, of course, because diversity is their goal(no really that's number one on their mission statement posted on the website)

I'm from /misc/ but even I'm not misogynist enough to say women CAN'T do stem. It's just that historically they didn't and the ones who try are absolute shit at it in general since they're still girls after all and worry about their makeup and nails/skin/hair/looking good for chad/etc instead of obsessively analyzing every detail to perfection like most male engineers (who are all likely partially autistic).
I'm currently a chemical engineering student in uni and the ONLY good female ChemE students are basically femcels. All the attractive ones are smart enough to get Cs to not get weeded out but always get carried for hw/groupwork by desperate horny autists
