Is there a more overrated piece of trash than this? When I was in film school the alumni and I laughed this garbage out of the building. The French noir it rips off is superior in every way. Nolan is a hack.

This is one of my favorite films, very rewatchable even after you learn the twist. Just a movie with a very fun gimmick that plays around with all the possibilities of cinema.
This is the only kino in Nolan's resume.

I don’t know, seems semi-relevant I guess? having read almost everything Vonnegut has written I don’t see much of a thread here, though maybe I’m more thinking tone and content in which Nolan and Vonnegut are essentially diametrically opposed
