Personally, it would take me at least 10 loops before the raping sprees started.

Hmm. That is a reasonable amount. I think I'd test the waters first and do small things like groping and public masturbation before escalating to full on rape though

good morning sirs, i would do the needful

what if the loop ended after the rape and then they would arrest you

That’s why I would really never do it. I’d probably be tempted to after a long enough time but I’d be too afraid that God was testing me the whole time or something.

Yes if you change the entire premise of the story you would approach it differently.

There's no evidence in the movie that he retains any knowledge other than the lesson he learned after it's all over.

I don't remember him using that after the loop ends and he's in the next day, though. Only within the loop.

        >Bill Murray was undergoing a divorce at the time of filming, and was obsessing about the film. He would ring Harold Ramis constantly, often in the early hours of the morning. Ramis eventually sent screenwriter Danny Rubin to sit with Murray and iron out all his anxieties, one of the reasons Murray stopped speaking to Ramis for several years.

          >There was a lot of tension on the set between Harold Ramis and Bill Murray. One reason was creative differences, as Murray wanted the film to be more philosophical while Ramis wanted it to be a comedy. Murray's private problems, specifically the end of his first marriage, were also another that had a ripple effect on his behaviour. This would lead to the end of their working relationship, and they wouldn't speak to each other for a number of years. It was shortly before Ramis' death that they have made their peace with each other.

This, never understood why Murray felt so miserable in the loop. Staying forever young and having an entire town to exploit with no consequences sounds amazing. Maybe I'd start getting bored after 1000000 loops

The movie made clear something supernatural was keeping him there. That 4x4 would break an axle or have the engine seize up. If necessary, a piece of an airplane would fall on Phil to kill him and reset the day.

        Anonymous

It's not even something as complicated as that. The only supernatural aspect is that when Phil goes to sleep, he inevitably wakes back up in the Punxsutawney B&B. And he can't even leave the town properly, unless he goes straightaway in the morning, because (IIRC) the first day has Phil and the crew leaving at about midday and being forced to turn back into town because of the blizzard.
Now, it'd probably be worth trying a whole bunch of caffeine/methamphetamine and staying awake for as long as humanly possible, but A) how's he gonna find something like meth in a town like that and B) he'd still have to reckon with the blizzard if he wanted to leave before the day was out

I'm so much of a spineless pussy that I wouldn't be able to just start flirting even if you put me in the same situation a thousand times.

In fact my very own life is already proof of that, so many easy opportunities time and time again, yet here I am a near 30 year old kissless virgin

erm chud what if she later regrets it and felt pressured? shes not given an opportunity for potentially claiming rape the following morning so that in and of itself is rape, ok??? remember the all gas no brakes guy got cancelled for pressuring a girl into sex, yes she had consent but she was PRESSURED, therefore its valid that it was rape ultimately

Humans are animals and civilization is the art of domesticating animals, first and foremost ourselves. Unless fettered by laws and scared by punishment, humans naturally slip back into savagery.
