It's not a failure, certain birth rates of certain people are better or worse than others. Largely college-educated people are producing less children, and there are more college graduates than others. Awareness in society, as well, is rapidly growing due in large part to the internet. Stanley was right, we're evolving beyond the physical. These countries also display a want of children without having to give up the comfort of being child-free, like having more money. A good suggestion would be social safety nets for parents that incentivize having children, not regression. Do you have a regressive fix that people would realistically be happy with, Mr. Childless?
