it was good and i liked it, but watching all the currently available episodes of murder drones for the first time right before watching it makes the darker elements not hit as hard in my opinion, and also maybe just broke my brain in general.
I'd say the darkness of Digital Circus is cut from a different cloth. Like people crossing paths with a spooky ghost that destroys relationships by erasing everything they remember about their loved ones, and nothing can be done to rebuild those relationships for the rest of their lives. And people are unbothered enough by that to nominate said spooky ghost for an award for being so spooky.
