It wanders from one thing to another, the connecting words (like all the "but"s and the other glue that connects one thought to another) don't actually string the parts into anything cohesive.
I know this because I once translated this video (with text, not with a voiceove) into another language, for people who don't speak English. It just completely falls apart as anything even remotely convincing when you have it as a text.
This is genuinely the power of spoken word, charisma, and good performance.
