>Let me tell ya, this scene is VERY unrealistic. If a mob boss was seen wearing THAT shirt with THOSE shorts while feeding his ducks in real life, he woulda been clipped, chopped up and fed to the alligators right on the spot.
You don't get away with something like this in that life.
I tend to care about the creators insights. The most insight I got into the Sopranos came from David Chase's mouth
No one dabbed harder on libertarian cucks than chase. I give him that much.
>if this was real life, he woulda got whacked for going to a therapist!
>t. mob guy blabbing about mob secrets to millions on youtube
this. don't EVER EVER rat out the mafia (unless you want to avoid prison and make a ton of money selling your story)
Franzese and the others performing this stint do so in the interest of the mob. They're meant to give off the impression to the public that the mafia is dead and all that's left are these washed out has-beens when in reality the five families are still very much alive and kicking and committing all kinds of crimes.
the moved almost entirely over to white collar crimes now, haven't they though?
Yes, white collar crime has become far more important compared to some of their traditional rackets. But they're also pushing drugs and such, every criminal organization wants a piece of that pie.
The mob is successfully keeping a low profile these days, but you should've caught some of the news. For instance read up on Frank Cali, mob boss who got killed by a Qtard during Trump's presidency. Had his fingers in countless pies and lots of connections to the old country allowing him to act across international borders, and he didn't even head the most powerful of the families either.
>th-the mob is just keeping a low proifle
Holy frick do you have severe brain damage? Why didn't they just think of "keeping a low profile" before you fricking wienersucking homosexual. have a nice day
>Qtard
you mean American. As opposed to you commies who are not American. Hell a communist isn't even a human
Sip on your bud light and chill the frick out, amerimutt. The adults are talking.
keep on coping there you third world subhuman. What's it like being a slave who can't own guns and who got forced to learn the American language?
>American language
2/10, very low energy bait
Aren't you the same skullfricked mongoloids who cheer for Russia's gaycapades? How do you reconcile all the trash you pretend to support? You're like a walking abortion.
And that is better for your life, why?
Out of sight, out of mind
Organized crime will always be a constant
I'd rather it be white collar than them whacking people every other day
>in reality the five families are still very much alive and kicking and committing all kinds of crimes.
Source on this? Genuinely curious, unless you’re just talking out your ass.
I always wondered why he didn't comment on the Sopranos owning part of the Jurassic Park
He knows more about being in the mafia than you do, son
considering the REAL mob hardly even whacks people anymore, I doubt it.
He doesn't know what he's talking about. Definitely not more than the actual former mobster's they had on the show like Tony Sirico.
He was a captain in a five families crew. He conceptualised and executed a fuel scam that ran through counties. Tony Sirico wasn't even made.
The real question is, why do we turn to major criminals for entertainment? Why are they being glorified? Is it because capitalism needs to market itself? Money, power over everything, "take care if my family and let everyone go frick themselves AND YOU WOULD DO THE SAME"?
>He conceptualised and executed a fuel scam that ran through counties
No he didnt, he and Gaspipe just extorted the Russia israelite that came up with the scam
>REAL RAPIST REACTS TO IRREVERSIBLE!
Would be kino.
>mmmm gettin' me in the mood....
>[looks past the camera]
>knocks over the camera
>irreversible 2
Kind of funny how bunch of Mafiosos became youtubers decades later. Him, Sammy the Bull, bunch of other less famous ones.
That said, when it comes to Mafia I only care about Roy DeMeo crew (I doubt Murder Machine will get adapted, probably too brutal) or old pre WW2 stuff.
Oh and I guess Bugsy Siegal, since Benny from Fallout New Vegas was based a bit around him.
>old pre WW2 stuff.
That's where you get real kino, I remember spending hours reading about Lucky Luciano, The Commission and all that stuff.
Have you read the hoods?
he looks pretty good for 72
The only real bad thing about the sopranos when it came to the criminal aspects were how sloppy and shoddy the murders and beatings were portrayed
What do you mean?
I like the theory that everyone hated Vito's actor which is why his character tends to get humiliated a ton throughout the show
Yeah it really bothered me as well how 90% of all their criminal activities were almost comically out in the open and poorly executed.
If I had to also bring up another nitpick it's how nobody in the show knows how to fire a fricking gun and they do that 80's/90's thing where they shove it at their target while emptying the entire clip with one hand. Like when they kill Mikey at the end of Season 1.
done on purpose, they weren't trying to glorify the goon lifestyle
also done on purpose, 90% of the time Chrissy the moron is the one doing that
GOON BROS TODAYS THE DAY WE GET THE BAT
did y'all see sammy the bull vs micheal franzese?
Is this the one where they call each other a rat and seethe??
https://youtube.com/shorts/cZntIgMucP4?feature=share3
they met later irl on patrick bet-david's show and almost got into a physical fight
Peak boomer wopkino.
?t=549
every fricking italian guy over 38 will tell you he is either in "da family" or has a very close friend who is
why dont movies talk about the israeli mob
they're more powerful and thus cooler than greaseballs
Godfather 1+2
Once Upon a Time in America
Bugsy
Lansky
Boardwalk Empire
Also Peaky Blinders but the israeli Mob are da good guys
Lucky Number Slevin
Because they hire nogs, Irish, and wops to do their dirty work for them. People romanticize the criminals that get their hands dirty themselves. Hence why people like Tony Soprano, say what you will about his vices but he was never afraid to take matters into his hands like garroting that FBI informant and beating Coco half to death for sexually harassing Meadow
Why would the israeli mob make a film about themselves?
