>NOOOOO YOU YOU CANT MAKE SOMETHING THAT DEVIATES FROM THE CANON™
>THE ORIGINAL SLOP IS SACRED!
Nah, it's more like
>lets make Iron Man into Spider-Man
That's a superficial comparison. Peter and young Tony are barely anything alike.
Isn't Tony kind of a quippy smart ass like Peter,?
>Young superhero exists
>"IT'S A COPY OF SPIDERMAN"
>Ignore that Spiderman was in his teenager/student stage for less than 100 issues.
>is the best Iron Man animated series
where's the new Iron Man animated show, is marvel stupid?
They should have made a new animated universe like 15 years ago. Now they remembered they had one back in the 90s
>They should have made a new animated universe like 15 years ago
they kinda did with avengers assemble, but that show was mediocre
Yeah because it killed the actually good one
>>is the best Iron Man animated series
Better than the anime???
They were thinking of making kino
Teenage Ironman? Just make another Spiderman show or some other teenage marvel hero
He was literally adult Tony in a teenage body. Why is this bad?
HE'S IIIIIIIIIIRON MAAAAAAAAN!
and yet its a good show with a good idea to revamp the rogues gallery for Tony.
I'll tell you what they were thinking
>What if Tony Stark was a man on a mission--in armor of high tech ammunition? trapped on the edge of an endless game. His teenage life will never be the same In a dangerous world he does all he can.
>He's Iron Man. Iron Man.
Alright, I chuckled.
>different in every single way
And yet it was really damn good.
Also, if you wanted people to complain along with you, why would you post the banger theme song?
crazy how we'll never get a Mandarin like this again
Nah and his interesting multi power rings have been turned into shitty magic kungfu bangles.
>teenage Batman worked out pretty good, what about teenage Iron Man
>execs want a teenage version of a superhero
>people working on the show manage to make it good
Bad idea, good execution.
All it takes is someone to have some heart working on the project. Then the good stuff will shine through.
Funnily enough, the choice to make iron a teen was yost’s doing. Exec’s were just on board all the way.
This.thank you for finding it again, Anon. The armor sounds even better than I remembered it.
>what were they thinking
Frick this AVGN ass line
could you please elaborate your statement?
Man, I wonder what I would grow into if I had to watch that shit instead of this
>lets make iron man a completely different character in every single fricking way
so the MCU
It's interesting to see how after 2008, the designs tend to favor the MCU designs more and more
>MCU designs more and more
the MCU was copying this design
His color scheme and face plant remind me more of the early comic armors.
>Tony has to survive 2 years before taking over Stark International while fighting Iron Man villains, going to school and uncovering the mystery of the mandarin rings with the best update to a classic Iron Man nemesis.
they were thinking it's kino.
Pepper, my beloved.
>only 3 rescue episodes and they're all at the end of S2
ha ha
Kinda odd how the lasting legacy of this show is the fact that this incarnation of Pepper was the main inspiration for RWBY's Nora
Kek, kinda true. But Iron Man was still a kino and fun show.
Where can I find a non shitty quality version of the show? The one I have is like 120p
And yet it is still easily the best Iron Man adaptation.
Did anyone else wish that the Living Laser could’ve returned for the finale and become a true hero?
At least it would've made his revival feel less random and pointless.
A shame Whitney went full villain by the end due to plot contrivance.
Pep won the Tonybowl
Show was great and the Mandarin was actually an engaging character.
IN A DANGEROUS WORLD
HE DOES ALL HE CAN
HE’S IROOOOOOOOOON MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
ENTER the CHADdarin
Mogged the MCU version so bad
I liked the whole thing about the Mandarin having a story for himself to win the rings.
A villain/rival who grows alongside the protagonist is always a good addition
You know, I would love a similar take but with Wolverine.
>Teen Logan
>Always try to grab a beer but either he can’t find one at Charles’ school, or the bottle breaks before he drinks it
>Cyclop and Jean are older than him, he always gets in trouble with them
>End of the first season reveals Logan is way older than he is
>Has his healing factor, but he's stuck as a teenager
Sounds like suffering kino.
Congrats you just retold the story of Interview with the Vampire
Aside from being a teenager and not having given terrorists the weapons wich nearly killed him how is he not like Tony?
He's a teenager and he didn't give the terrorists the weapons that nearly killed him.
It was pretty good
I love how they repurposed the generic goth background characters for the Mad Thinker and Awesome Android and a cat fight.
I never seen this kids cartoon so I can't comment on it but if your standard of what Iron Man is, is RDJ in the MCU then you should have a nice day
What should iron man be like then
Not like the MCU
that doesn't say much
I. AM.
I remember liking this a lot when I was young?
Does it hold up?
This show was the only time i ever cared about iron man when i was a kid. You can’t imagine my disappointment when i saw the marvel movies and he wasnt a cool teenager but a heckin anxious quippy soillenial.
iron man (real)
god that series was so shit
?
A good chunk of time is literally him being about his dad's company being used for evil, his tech being stolen, getting angry over it, having Rhodey reel him in, creating machines that go sentient, evil or both, having heart problems etc.
Sounds pretty Tony Stark to me. Literally only lacks alcoholism.
It was still good though.
Teenage Iron Man actually really works well. I wonder if we'll ever see a teenage Tony again or if Riri has taken up that niche.
That would be an interesting way to bring Iron Man back into the MCU. Anthony Stark coming from an alternative universe to save this Tony, but he's too late.
Have I got news for you! The current Ultimate comics headed up by Hickman have teen Tony as Iron Lad.
>doom's mask now looks more like MF DOOM's
lmao
That's Reed Richards. As for where is New Ultimate universe's Doom? The Maker probably killed him and made a trophy out of him.
He looks kind of meh.
Of making a really fricking good intro song.
This series was pure KINO. It has the most badass version of the mandarin and the cutest version of pepper.
Panz here. Any pepper ideas/requests?
Pepper giving a footjob
Pepper rubbing wieners on her tiny breasts
Pepper doing a cumwalk
Will try to do one of these tomorrow. Hopefully the thread will still be up
I second this.
>Pepper doing a cumwalk
But with the armor on, with only her faceplate off showing her flustered pls.
I thought it was cool, you're basically putting Tony in the role of Peter Parker.
For that matter I'm not sure why we don't get more younger heroes in general.
>For that matter I'm not sure why we don't get more younger heroes in general.
You want continuous and unnecessary reboots? Because that's how you get continuous and unnecessary reboots.
That's already the norm for capeshit, more younger heroes wouldn't increase the amount of reboots, if anything they'd slow the flow since we wouldn't be starting with them in their mid twenties and resetting them by their late thirties, even with heroes like Batman where it wouldn't make sense for Bruce to start being the bat that early on you have McGinnis.
>teenage versions of adult superheroes is bad
shut up
This made no sense and was carried by the toonforce that the Thing was pulling off all the time. Also that little tomboy is a cutie.
?si=DFhtEuOvPgt60gpy
I completely forgot about this show existed Holy shit thanks for the reminder
>Showrunners: ... Frick it, let's make Rhodey's mom fine as hell. Why not.
Indeed a very wise choice
You now remember Japanese Wolverine
His design in the X-Men anime was better.
This show was so weirdly paced.
It felt like an OVA stretched way too far.
Agreed.
>Made Iron Man good
How did they do it?
we need him back on the Marvel cartoons
This show was so fricking good. We'll never get this stuff ever again.
Good intro and made me like iron man as a kid. It's sad how until very recently cape studios gave up on animated series entry points.
Animation in general has gone into the shitter.
>Cool theme song
>Neat visuals
>Great use of cast and Marvel cameos
>Coolest version of The Mandrian yet
Honestly, once you get past the main characters being teens, it was a pretty cool show
>not posting the full version
Such a kino song.
I thought the suit designs were cool.
They are cool.
That episode with the AI mommy voice telling Tomy she's going to lock him in the armor forever poisoned my developing mind.
Actually watching this in my spare time. While the animation can be pretty clunky, I liked it enough to press on. Just got to the episode where they went to investigate the underground temple and they had to solve the riddle with the sword and book. Ironic that Tony solved the riddle instead of Gene. Pepper's cute if a touch spastic. Having Mandarin work alongside Tony in secret while he acquires more power and experience is neat.
I enjoyed this, but never got around to watching the second season. Did Doom ever appear? I recall they showed him in a grainy photo, all ominous like.
Taskmaster/Ghost was pretty good too
yes Doom appears in season 2. and he's got 90s X-Men Mr. Sinister's voice too.
