Dove in the Iron Cage was my favorite 21 minute episode. It had a really nice song and the fact that the Superjail team worked on it made it all the better

Squash B Guash is another good episode.

I remember being put off by the screencaps and ads for the show when it was on, thinking it would just be gross-out humor. I finally gave it a chance and it was funnier than I thought it would be.

Not every episode is all that great every season or so there is a couple of duds.

I think the peak for me was Season 10.

Why must we prejutate against the bully, just because he seperates you from the nerd hers and gives you a sound ass-whoopin

When I watched it as a kid, I never fully got what was the point of it all but that it was hilarious. Never been around hillbillies so this show served to form my opinion of them.

Just learned that Unknown Hinsom/Stuart Baker got fired from voicing Early because he wrote tweets calling Dolly Parton a bawd and talking about minorities, lmao

      >replaced by Tracy Morgan
      why
why not someone southern, Tracy can’t voice act to save his life and it’s great to see his career slowly wither away after people realized his jokes are 90% “EYYY IM BLACK YOU SHOULD LAUGH IM BLACK” but why the hell would any competent studio head hire a New York ass mother fricker? Did they really feel that much of a compulsion to prove they’re not racist

I felt it was done ironically as a protest against blackwashing characters. The question is if he was in on the joke.

I refuse to believe tracy morgan is smart enough for that.

      >Frick you liberals! I don't need any of you!
      >Half your viewership just disappeared, so you're fired.
      >IT'S NOT FAIR! Fricking liberals, abandoning me over bullshit.
      Many such cases.

        >Half your viewership just disappeared, so you're fired.
No it didn't. I highly doubt most of the viewership was aware of it or cared. Voice actors and others working on shows have controversial opinions all the time. Just saying a serious threat to viewership numbers wasn't the reason for their choice.

When i discovered the show on hbo max I was pleasantly surprised. I watched the frick out of it non stop for days. Than i learned about this
TO me it wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't replace the voice actor with fricking trace morgan and it made me lived. With all respects to the dude but he sounds nothing like him and it is now a grim reminder of what happened to the OG voice actor> I won't even watch the last season because of that.

Tracy Morgan was such an odd way to replace Hinson. Was it supposed to be some ironic joke that the new voice was so out of place?

It was just a "frick you" to Unknown Hinson to have an unfunny Black with moron timbre replace him. Nothing else.

      >Was it supposed to be some ironic joke that the new voice was so out of place?
Pretty much, yeah. This is the same network that once had a marathon where they aired the same exact episode of Harvey Birdman 20 times in a row.

Slightly funnier than Family Circus, somehow less funny than ATHF. Adult Swim comedy was just shitposting.

I'm from/live near the areas they're parodying so it's funny on a personal level. idk if it's as funny to outsiders (i.e. people outside of this southern fried hell), but the GA references and in-jokes are kino. The Jackyl episode is a personal favorite.

Hinson was a tard to publicly go against Dolly Parton who's a media darling. Basically if you can't keep your tard opinions bottled up and sperg out on social media you deserve whatever happens.
