so was this movie awful or not?
I've had sex with men, women, and lesbians, so a gay kiss won't bother me, but is it worth watching? I can't get a clear answer anywhere
The lesbian thing was far from the worst of it's problems. It's biggest problem for me at least it's that it was a really driving boring animated version of interstellar.
The first twenty minutes are an animated version of Interstellar. The film has a completely different message. I don't even think Interstellar has a message or a theme, because Nolan is a hack.
isn't me
Black people are usually ok to me.
I tend not to get along romantically/sexually with black women due to cultural differences. Mixed black women (black/latin, black/white, black/asian) do something do something different to me. 10/10, would more often than not.
Black men are on a case by case basis.
Yeah but also don't be WITHOUT exploitation, the only space thing happening in this movie was being stuck in s planet, we didn't see any other alien that wasn't a mindless bug or even other space rangers
It was perfectly average. I went in with extremely low expectations and I actually had fun.
I went in with minimal expectations and was significantly disappointed. My whole reason for going was I thought the spaceships looked cool. I even bought a bunch of the toys (which I don't regret because the ships still look awesome) but the film barely does anything with them.
The gay kiss was such a non-issue that when I got back from the cinema and was talking about the movie with the friend I saw it with neither of us could actually remember if it was in the film. What actually made me mad was Taika Waititi's character Mo who was such an annoying bumbling fool that he just pissed me off whenever he was on screen. They also completely fricked up Zurg, I won't spoil anything in case you actually wanna see the film, other than to say that the choice they made retroactively undercuts the entire film.
On the positive side the character of Sox was really entertaining and his comedic relief was actually funny.
You can no true scotsman if you want but the fact of the matter is that there's 3 other threads complaining about black people existing in the catalog right now.
Making excuses for it by blaming tourists doesn't change that.

The useless time travel shits was being Interstellar
>I've had sex
No you haven't
Do you like Black folk? Serious question.
Black girls are top tier.

This Black person

>Halle Berry
You have exceptional tastes, my good man
Not half as excellent as yours, bud.
>Mixed black women (black/latin, black/white, black/asian) do something do something different to me.
Hybrid vigor.
You do know that it's possible for none mix blacks to have a skin tone like that?
morons on Cinemaphiles don’t realize that Africans have hundreds of different phenotypes.
Do you like a space adventure movie with only one barren planet with barely anything on it?
If the movie were all about exploration, the kids would be bored.

It was okay but could have been better Buzz's character arc had been smoother.
This character is much better hand drawn.
She’s cute in the movie too. You’re probably confusing her with her grandma (the one Cinemaphile ridiculed ad nauseum)
This is true of all 3d characters.
Not always.
Name some that look better in 3d.
Would you?
Probably the dirtiest joke they did so far.
She’s for cuddles and stargazing.
groomer company
>two women kiss for a split second
>full on makeouts between male and female characters in older Disney films
Now it's grooming?
That’s a man.
Izzy is COLONIZED
The movie should’ve just been Buzz, Sox, and Izzy. The other two were useless.
Agreed.
If this movie was in 2D I don't think Cinemaphile would have complained *as* hard as they did about Izzy.
That is incredibly naive.
How am I wrong? She looks pretty cute here. Whenever Cinemaphile chimped at Izzy it was always that one frame of her that looked a little weird.
She's still black, which is the board's actual problem.
Cinemaphile loves black women though. They just cope with it by saying "BLEACHED" or "COLONIZED".
And keep in mind I said Cinemaphile, not /misc/.

This board is one day "AWOGA I will colonize black girls!" and the other "reeee black girls make me feel weak for being white!"
>Destroys your fragile white ego with a look
