Him and Sauron are the only good parts of it.
>another celebrity bogged
The episode really brushed over Galadriel vowing genocide. This is the hero we're supposed to root for.
The orcs are unambiguously evil. They have no interests outside murder, rape and torture
All I see are doctors and engineers
Yes that seems to be the showrunner's intent, good job
Most of the board are zoomers, who love prequels also
the jackson movies are extremely overrated. sure they're usually an 8/10 but people are stupid pretending they're 10/10 masterpieces.
most of the board were little children when the movies were first out and don't get how flawed they were to an adult eye.
Fellowship of The Ring is is a cinematic feat and almost a 10/10 film
if you were underage when they were released, don't even try to be objective.
No, it's not. There's far too much comedy that undermines what should be serious situations, such as in the Orc attack in Moria. That scene alone has multiple slapstick bits in it and it really brings the quality down.
>That scene alone has multiple slapstick bits in it and it really brings the quality down.
which? none come to mind except the head being unscrewed
>Boromir making "oh no" face as he holds onto the cave troll chain and gets yeeted
>Samwise panicking between cave troll's legs as the cave troll does the old where did he go routine
>Aragorn ninja sword throw into an Orc's neck followed by Boromir doing the omg head shake
>cave troll yeeting its orc buddies into oblivion while Gimli dances around in confusion
You might have medically legitimate autism
Except the head falling, which is also quite in character for Pippin, what else is a comedy in the moria mines?
Or Amon hen?
I don't think the pippin bit where he causes the skull to fall down the well can qualify as slapstick
In fact the whole Moria part terrified me as a kid when I watched it
Cope, adult Black person.
just rewatched the extended trilogy 2 weeks ago and they are still top shelf kino.
hey fcuk off i was 12 and it was cool
and I thought The Neverending Story was a 10/10 because I was a toddler but it's probably not to an adult watching it for the first time.
>Neverending Story was a 10/10
well you were wrong
FOTR is 9/10 tho.
>in PJ movies orcs never kill anything
That's because you never watched them.
But still they were so moronic they should have killed waay more
>Literally feel more sympathy for the orcs than this galadriel lmfao
Its leftist subversion; deconstructivism, nihilism, relativism, "moral grey" ness (good is bad, bad is good). They want to dismantle western civilization and all that it holds sacred and dear.
Go back to your containment board chud
have a nice day troony
Dilate your festering wound, troony homosexual.
they kill a bunch of guards during the siege of Minas Tirith
>Chuds feel sympathy for the absoute embodyment of evil
Of course you do, it's the only type of character you can relate to
>in PJ movies orcs never kill anything
Boromir
Boromir was always moronic
>race literally created to be a weapon of evil
>2022 writers and showrunners decide to frame them as sympathetic victims
Holy subversion
there are two very old orcs in mordor that have a discussion about the good ole days in the third lotr book
Morgoth and sauron literally just want to create world better
It is moronic that only one being has all the power like in christianity
>2022 writers and showrunners decide to frame them as sympathetic victims
i think you are supposed to feel for Adar, and view Orcs more like Rapid dogs. They can't help what they are.
>rapid dogs
Th-they are fast!
They Sylvanas'd her.
i stopped watching after episode 4, even worth continuing
that's the point
The actor does a good job but
>the first orcs made by morgoth were elves tortured and twisted beyond recognition
>adar looks like normal elf with a couple of scars and pale skin
Bravo Jeff
Orcs killing random villagers in this series make them 10x better than PJ orcs that only fight random soldier fodder who you already expect to be expendable. Not only that but the brutality of the Orcs slowly sticking blades into people's abdomens.
This dude’s pretty much single-handedly saving this show. Good actor.
