It's not that bad. It was pretty smart to use vegetables since they're just basic shapes. It holds up better than pretty much any other CGI edutainment at the time.

VeggieTales' animation started to look incredibly ugly around the mid-2000s ironically due to improvements in budget/technology. Look at something like the Pirates movie. The textures are clearly advanced enough that they could animate more complex characters, keeping them with the same shapes and designs as early in the series when it was a budgetary necessity makes the later era stuff feel cynical, soulless and ugly.

Pretty sure I would have cried at some point in my life if they made Larry look different.

Agreed. Went from fun faith based schlock to depressing bargain bin cashgrab

      >in the future comedy will be randomly generated

If Where's God When I'm Scared was 20 minutes longer it would've been the first CGI feature film a full year Before Toy Story

They had a lot of good songs. I wonder if the Madam Blueberry one made me into such a minimalist penny pincher.

    Everybody's got a water buffalo
    Where is my hairbrush
    His cheeseburger
The pirates who don't do anything

These songs are forever etched into my subconscious

    >Remember the Israelites?
    >Oh yeah, weren't they God's chosen people?
    >That's what the Bible says
    >I bet they always follow God's directions
    >You'd think so wouldn't ya
This show surprisingly has some good ones

      >israeli fairytales say they were enslaved by egytians

      >archaelogy and history has no proof of such an event happening
      >infact levantine hyksos invaded and conquered egypt not the other way around
Let your people go? How about you invaders frick off back to sinai?

What does this say about the rest of the bible fairytales and their legitimacy?

Zoomer humor is just reskinned millennial humor. They didn't invent anything.
