Jesus I don't know a single friend watching this and they're all pretty geeky.
Me myself watched only the first episode, got sad by how she treated her based Hulk father and dropped it
Most of the people i know irl who followed everything MCU give zero fricks about this show. I asked some of them why and they usually say something along the lines of "i saw the trailer/commercials and it looks like teenager CW shit"
>nail the characters to a t >create the most comfy slice of life content in the entire MCU, better than Spider-Man or Hawkeye >actual plot is garbage because that shitty fricking Inhumans show and Carol synergy derailed everything
JUST
I don't get how grown ass adults can unironically enjoy superheroes and then go "I'm okay with watching a 40 year old wear spandex and fight cartoon aliens, but a TEENAGE GIRL doing the same thing? That's a bridge too far."
Let's be honest about the real problem facing the MCU: severe shortage of hot guys in interesting emotional situations and flattering outfits to draw in half the audience. Tom can't carry the whole thing.
It's for the best. Every episode feels like you're being lectured to about middle eastern culture, instead of watching super hero show. It's boring as frick.
When did Loki say no time loops? Its main thing was that you can do anything you want as long as the information doesn't conflict with the desired end result. A loop shouldn't matter because from the outside it has no meaningful effect.
There are more than one way to time travel in Marvel. Also traditionally, a different "timeline" is different from an alternate universe. Endgame fricked that up kinda.
Doctor Doom has time travelled dozens of times with his time machine, and even waited from the past until the present, yet he has always been 616 Doom in the 616 universe.
Latest episode confirmed that Kamala didn't just see a vision of the past but was actually in the past herself and was the one who helped her grandma as a child find her father during partition
Basically, this fcking need of trying to integrate moronic beliefs that consider the same existence of this series haram reeks of people that dont even know what the fck Islam is about
This show has really fallen apart. It feels like it didn't have enough episodes. The clandestine flip from good to evil with zero prompt. They get the Djinn thing one episode and dropt it the next. Rushing throw the flashback. Najima leaves Kamran and is later sacrificing herself to stop the warp. I wouldn't be surprised if this got fricked in the reshoots.
The rushing thing was bizarre: >Help us return home, Kamala. >Five seconds later. >WE HAVE WAITED TOO LONG, GET HER.
Same thing with those Red Daggar people: >You have been here all of five minutes. >We now completely trust you.
The pacing in this show is way off. But then again I am not sure I could stand this being stretched out even more.
I watched it pretty early so I might have missed something. Did Aisha use her powers at all? She seemed pretty cool with everyone yet earlier we were told that she is some shunned pariah that nobody talks about.
I skimmed ahead as soon as I realized she was actually in the passed, the only interesting thing in the episode was how the veil's effect on people was much like terrigenesis, at this point Djinns might just be inhumans, those who pass get powers but those who don't dies after turning into some cuccon shit.
Not really End Game and Loki already showed that you can do whatever the frick you want as long as the end result is the same.
It's why Loki was able to yell and tell people he's from the future in Pompeii because it doesn't matter everyone dies regardless. Kamala being the one to reunite her Grandma with her father doesn't change the timeline because the end result is the same. Same thing with removing the infinity stones and placing them back. As long as there's no big events that requires the stones they were able to take them and return them without causing a permanent branch.
Regardless though no matter what Kamala did in the past it wouldn't effect the timeline she's in and she'd always go back her own timeline
Well, in the end the baby and the dad were like a few feet away from each other. Hadn't Kamala done the light show, they'd probably found each other like a minute after.
But the whole "path of stars" story is a resulting change with enough consequences (being something talked about by the family to this day, and an influence on Kamala) that it would be a branch.
>get caught >are put in handcuffs on rails >guards get sloppy, djinn crew break the rails, take out guards, unlock handcuffs via key from downed guards, punch their way out >Kamran is abandoned by his mother for choosing Kamala >Kamran gets powers from his mother because she suicides herself in to the rift to close it >Goes to Bruno's for help, turns out Kamran was just a mega derp and asks to start over >Was tracked by government drones >Drones blow up Bruno's market trying to kill Kamran, who uses the fist thing Kamala does to destroy the drone
people haven't responded the last 3 times you tried to bait them by saying "I'm not watching" and you obviously aren't going to stop so have a pity (you)
>genuine mousecuck seething just because people don’t want to watch a show
Glowies would love to have the kind of brainwashing mousecucks do to themselves.
I mean, you never know. I watched MoM without knowing I had to watch Wandavision first and I felt like I missed most of the stuff happening in the movie. Dick move from Marvel if you ask me
I didnt fully watch wandavision(because I found the sitcom era shit boring) but had a friend give me a few second recap telling me that wanda is basically a b***h before watching and it was easy enough to put 2 and 2 together. But yeah, disney is trying hard to cross promote their shitty D+ series. Hopefully having shit like ms marvel and she hulk flop will make them stop
>watching the latest episode >British divide and rule made Hindus and Muslims hate each other!
A bunch of historians from India dispute this. Muslims are the ones who called for the state of Pakistan. This shit was weak bait.
>We spend six weeks on Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece but six minutes on Ancient Persia and Byzantium. History's written by the oppressors.
bro persia was a fricking empire built on bloody conquest it was oppressive as hell
I only watched the first three episodes, but by the third one you could tell that the writers lost steam entirely. They did not need to shoehorn in her going to Pakistan in the first season, they could have just made that the focus of a future season.
This. They could have cut 4 and 5 and made it so Kamala traveled back in time when they first saw the train. Then, veil opens, Kamala gives speech, Najma sacrifices, and (as a bonus) have Kamran watch the whole thing (or parts of it). BAM! Kamran suddenly (or gradually) turning evil is established.
I mean, you never know. I watched MoM without knowing I had to watch Wandavision first and I felt like I missed most of the stuff happening in the movie. Dick move from Marvel if you ask me
Honestly, the only thing you missed was: >Wanda "created" fake version of her family with Vision and 2 kids. >She had to "let go" of it because the way she did it was morally, ethically, and legally wrong to do so. >She also got the evil McGuffin.
and then it's gonna turn out to be alien tech time travel, what with the fricking Kree arm they found the bangle on
>Kree has blue arm >Shiva depicted as blue-skinned
Hmmm.
>Shiva depicted as blue-skinned
That would honestly be the biggest mistake they could make. Muslim would be pissed at idea of a muslim being empowered by another god. India would just ban the show because they misrepresented Hinduism. It would only piss off the people they are trying to pander to.
Muslims would be pissed at this haram girl who doesn't cover her hair and speaks to other gods who aren't Allah. Why does Kamala's fundamentalist brother tolerate her haram?
Something's been bugging me. Did they run out of budget for Kamala's powers 5 episodes in? Why did they have her platform up to the top balcony out of view and just show her mom's awed look?
UHHHHHHHH LOOK, GLOWY POWERS
I FRICKING HATE THE GLOWY POWERS
Same.

Fricking lmao.
Let's be honest about the real problem facing the MCU: severe shortage of hot guys in interesting emotional situations and flattering outfits to draw in half the audience. Tom can't carry the whole thing.
Do you feel the need to self Insert into this discussion betta
It's for the best. Every episode feels like you're being lectured to about middle eastern culture, instead of watching super hero show. It's boring as frick.
cap did a self-consistent loop in endgame too
No, he didn't. He created a branch when he went back to Peggy.
The entire point of Endgame and Loki was that there's no closed loops, only branches.
Until now. Maybe they'll weasel around it saying that there's different time travel methods with different mechanics or some shit.
When did Loki say no time loops? Its main thing was that you can do anything you want as long as the information doesn't conflict with the desired end result. A loop shouldn't matter because from the outside it has no meaningful effect.
i already dropped it, so it don't matter
I am only watching it for the shitfests here, same reason i read the first few issues of her comic book
Comic logic doesn't apply to the movies.
Infinity Stones and America Chavez should tell you they aren't the same rules as the comics
there's time travel in it?
Latest episode confirmed that Kamala didn't just see a vision of the past but was actually in the past herself and was the one who helped her grandma as a child find her father during partition
> was the one who helped her grandma as a child find her father during partition
>You are your own grandfather
Seems like a stable loop to me with
I refuse to watch this show simply because it has a muslim main character
Basically, this fcking need of trying to integrate moronic beliefs that consider the same existence of this series haram reeks of people that dont even know what the fck Islam is about
>ignores the rules set up by end game
Someone didn't watch Loki
This show has really fallen apart. It feels like it didn't have enough episodes. The clandestine flip from good to evil with zero prompt. They get the Djinn thing one episode and dropt it the next. Rushing throw the flashback. Najima leaves Kamran and is later sacrificing herself to stop the warp. I wouldn't be surprised if this got fricked in the reshoots.
They were never actual Djinn and the Clandestine never said they were.
The rushing thing was bizarre:
>Help us return home, Kamala.

Same thing with those Red Daggar people:

I watched it pretty early so I might have missed something. Did Aisha use her powers at all? She seemed pretty cool with everyone yet earlier we were told that she is some shunned pariah that nobody talks about.
I think the reason why she was shunned was because she was killed but everyone assumed she ran off on her family and rumors just circulated from that
I skimmed ahead as soon as I realized she was actually in the passed, the only interesting thing in the episode was how the veil's effect on people was much like terrigenesis, at this point Djinns might just be inhumans, those who pass get powers but those who don't dies after turning into some cuccon shit.

How did Kamran escape
>get caught

I'm not going to watch it, are there any spoilers I need know before I torrent Love and Thunder?
No unless Thor travels to Pakistan or Jersey City.

Bruh dont watch shitty cam rips
let's see, the rules set by endgame are
>time travel creates a branching timeline except when the plot needs it not to
seems consistent with that
People need to give it the three episode rule. Yeah, the first few are kinda cringe, but it's actually pretty decent.
>watching the latest episode
>British divide and rule made Hindus and Muslims hate each other!
A bunch of historians from India dispute this. Muslims are the ones who called for the state of Pakistan. This shit was weak bait.

Because that's not how it works.
>I can 'le stretch' XD
amazing.
the rules set up by end game
Endgame ignores the rules of endgame
only if you're a brainlet who thinks Steve was Peggy's secret husband all along
that was science time travel this is magic time travel
and then it's gonna turn out to be alien tech time travel, what with the fricking Kree arm they found the bangle on
Something's been bugging me. Did they run out of budget for Kamala's powers 5 episodes in? Why did they have her platform up to the top balcony out of view and just show her mom's awed look?
>black woman dies immediately
What did they mean by this?
No you don't get it, it's magic so it follows it's own rules.
