Based. I hope they do it. We’re way past the point of salvation. I just want to see this brand burn in speculator fashion. Since he’s Canadian, make him a pajeet while you’re at it, and bisexual
It'll be a 1 off gag as a reference to the Logan cameo in First Class. She matches with him on tinder and his bio says he's 6'1. Then we cut to her sitting at the bar like Logan was in FC, when he walks up she notices his height and tells him to frick off.
It does but the more mushy the more time it takes. Hulk basicaly liquified it
Wolverine's healing factor is pretty inconsistent, in some comics it takes like 1 hour to recover him from I dunno falling from 1 km high, but in others it takes seconds to recover him from point blank missile
>but wouldn’t his brain regenerate?
Eventually. The thing is he probably never got hit that hard by the Hulk. He got out of commission for a bit, at least enough for Hulk to beat the shit of the other X-Men.
>The thing is he probably never got hit that hard by the Hulk
Logan faceparried nukes
If Hulk really hit him that "hard" not a single building would be standing in kms around him from the impact wave and yet...
This is fricking moronic. The hulk can bend adamantium. Why doesn't he just crush wolverines skull? Logans healing factor doesn't mean shit if his brain case has the internal volume of a stomped flat coke can.
so he hasn't then? unless he is directly ripping individual bones in half he didnt do that, Logans spinal discs aren't adamantium, only his actual BONES are.
>what if we made it about teens that are a gay/trans allegory even harder than it already is? while cutting out the most popular character everyone wants to see?

Don't bring your "First Class" arguments to me for how it can work without Logan, this is Yidsney we're talking about here, they'd struggle to make it work WITH Logan.
>Don't bring your "First Class" arguments to me
The First Class series never drew a dime except for the one installment where the whole gimmick was "we're bringing the REAL X-Men back to guest star with these losers"
Look how fricking hard Dark Phoenix flops compared to the very first one, especially when looking at inflation and budget return
That would be a good thing, but I doubt an X-Men movie by Marvel studios is going to good either way. They specialize in overproduced TV movies with sitcom scripts, and noisy CGI battles. X-men was more of a teen soap opera with super powers, filtered through a pop culture zeitgeist which no longer exists. My guess is that the Marvel produced X-Men films will make Singer's version look quaint in comparison.
I'm surprised Apocalypse did that well. Wolverine was barely in that one, btw. I'm all for X-Men without Wolverine, or with Wolverine taking a backseat, but I wonder if this new X-Men movie is going to feature the original lineup. That would be pretty bad. The comics didn't get good until Claremont (with Wolverine) showed up and saved their dumb asses.
Disney will absolutely butcher Storm
She was butchered by Singer's version too. Storm is one of these characters that I'm not entirely convinced can be done well by anyone other than prime Chris Claremont. Even the 90s cartoon struggled to do anything with her.
bring gambit and rogue and make it hot
Two characters that have been dead in the water since the 90's.
People think they like X Men but they really just like the mythology and world building Chris Clairemont wrote. I may just be a filthy casual, but anything before picrel is pretty tough to get through. If they're starting the reboot with the first team, good luck making 60s Angel or Iceman appealing to a generation whose sole relationship to the franchise are Marvel vs Capcom games.
Yeah, pretty much. 90's X-Men ran on fumes after Claremont's initial departure, and it burnt out and never came back.
This. Key is getting a charismatic actor for Cyclopes, the most fricked over character in comic history
He's just not a character modern hack writers can do anymore. He's too straight. Modern writing focuses on antiheroes and inner suffering. Cyke had a subtlety to him that is completely lost on, not only modern writers, but probably modern audiences too.
I haven't, but if you kept up with my post, you'd know that I was criticizing modern writers not being able to grasp the finer qualities of the character.
Beautiful, flowing white hair is too eurocentric. Instead of accenting her "goddesshood" with a-typical, silver billowing locks aren't African enough to wokejaks
Probably a smart decision actually, considering that the previous series centered almost too heavily on him. This will give them opportunities to explore other characters and storylines and carve their own path.
That being said, it's Disney and capeshit, so they'll find some way to completely frick it up.
Reboot is Q1 2024
I pre-dropped it when they announced "We brought back the whole original voice cast, except for Jubilee, who we fired and replaced with a real Asian woman"
Can't wait for Iceman to have graphic anal sex on screen; while Rogue kneels in-front of Bishop (whom she later marries), apologizing for her ancestor's sins.
yea, it's some stupid alternate dimension story about a b***hy hormonal 14 year old who mindfricks everyone to get her way.

How many fricking what if stories does Jean have at this point?

>it's some stupid alternate dimension story
it was main universe and beast pulled the original 5 teens through time to frick with cyclops and then to try to hit on jean too.
From what I remember is that Wolverine got sent to kill the X-Men or some shit for Weapon X. But then he got Stockholm syndrome and he now currently gets DP'd by Cyclops and Jean Grey.
I’d say don’t have Jean either. Atleast not right away. Had enough her and Dark Phoenix. I’d focus on Rogue. First movie she’s sort of a villain and takes Captain Marvel’s powers. After The Marvels bombs best way to go
well yeah, he wasn't on the original team. he was on the MK2 team that was formed to save the original team from the plant monster or whatever the frick
Sure, they'll want to introduce a new roster when they eventually make their own mutant movies. But let's be honest, for Secret Wars to cap off an MCU with diminishing returns, you gotta figure that Disney is considering bringing in Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Tobey Maguire. Maybe RDJ, too. Even a 60-year-old Wolverine has got to be ,more of a draw than some zoomer randos.

Have you read any of the Batman/Scooby crossovers? There was one recently where Daphne took over for Batgirl recently when Barbara was injured, and I liked the play with redhair.
I read Whedon's run and whatever in that series crossed over with the big 90s events. All the Grant Morrisson stuff too. Writing after Clairemont is easy enough since he gave the company such a vast mythos to work with. It's the pre-Clairemont X Men comics that are tough. And if that's the team they're gonna debut in a movie or whatever, good luck.
I've actually been doing a read of the x-books, and that's where I decided to start. Well, I actually started with the issue of Incredible Hulk where Wolverine made his first appearance. While there’s a lot of silly shit in here, I largely get the hype behind Claremont’s run now. Jean gives me a hard PP too.
I don't have any faith a Disney MCU x-men movie will be any good. The Fox movies tried to maintain challenging themes and ideas, Disney tries to make everyone happy, and that's not the way the world works.
xmen could only be good as an hbo prestige show. it's always felt like more of a soap opera than something that would translate to cinema. euphoria with super hero powers, where they all just frick each other and train and occasionally fight.
Asian/Chinese Angel
gay Iceman
Black Jean (ginger = Black person)
Mexican Xavier (who still pronounces his name ECKS-a-vee-er)
White CisHet Cyclops who will be the butt of all jokes
White Beast because it's racist to make him Colored
He's being introduced in She Hulk S2.

Thats good, its better if we get the team alone first and then later get Logan introduced to it so we see how Logan's presence influence's thing
Are you moronic? It's a continuation of the original X-Men series. Not only is Wolverine already on the team, he was featured in almost every episode.
Not talking about the cartoon you moron
Try reading the OP again, anon. It's talking about the reboot.
Good. This will help the movie being an X-Men movie and not another Wolverine and the X-Men movie.
I get what the writer thought they were doing but wouldn’t his brain regenerate? Does that happen in the next panel?
It does but the more mushy the more time it takes. Hulk basicaly liquified it

In Ultimate he's ripped Logan in half.

there are million good stories without logan in them, your argument is flawed
Other than the ones with Cyclops nobody gives a frick about these.
>nobody gives a frick
why don't you say "I"? "I don't give a frick about them"?
>Don't bring your "First Class" arguments to me

There's a Dark Phoenix show???
movie
There's a Dark Phoenix movie???
THEY HAVE TWO
This shit looks like a porn parody, wtf. I can take Tokusatsu more serious than this. Just look at Quicksilver's gay little jog.

Boy you haven't been keeping up with X-books in years have you
I haven't, but if you kept up with my post, you'd know that I was criticizing modern writers not being able to grasp the finer qualities of the character.
I didn't care for Wolverine when I used to read the comics. He wore yellow and was always threatening to leave the group like a big baby.
Predict the ugly sheboon they'll cast as Storm.
Disney will absolutely butcher Storm
Beautiful, flowing white hair is too eurocentric. Instead of accenting her "goddesshood" with a-typical, silver billowing locks aren't African enough to wokejaks
Not ugly enough. I'd say Zendaya but I think they would want someone REAL black. Like the gorilla from Ghost Busters.
She should be the kinoest and coomest of black actresses to be worthy of getting DOOMED.
Ayy lmao face cat eye Storm was a cute look. Shame it was completely dropped and no one ever re-used it.
I wish I was Doom
Probably a smart decision actually, considering that the previous series centered almost too heavily on him. This will give them opportunities to explore other characters and storylines and carve their own path.
That being said, it's Disney and capeshit, so they'll find some way to completely frick it up.
Marvel knows how to milk it. They will make an X-Men movie and then a solo wolverine movie and then have them meet in X-Men 2.
>initial
he didn't start out on the team in the movies either
bring gambit and rogue and make it hot
it was really annoying that he always had to make an appearance in those movies even when the plot didn't involve him at all
He's the only X-Man who was ever relevant outside of the X-Men.
Comic accurate
Reminds me of the good ol' day
did they ever end up bringing back the old cartoon?
It releases in December.
Reboot is Q1 2024
I pre-dropped it when they announced "We brought back the whole original voice cast, except for Jubilee, who we fired and replaced with a real Asian woman"
>reboot
How about just releasing a remastered version of the original, how about that?
The originals gay/racial allegories were nowhere near explicit enough for current year
Can't wait for Iceman to have graphic anal sex on screen; while Rogue kneels in-front of Bishop (whom she later marries), apologizing for her ancestor's sins.
Jean's greatest prank
Is Jean meant to look like she's 14 in this?
yea, it's some stupid alternate dimension story about a b***hy hormonal 14 year old who mindfricks everyone to get her way.
How many fricking what if stories does Jean have at this point?
>it's some stupid alternate dimension story
it was main universe and beast pulled the original 5 teens through time to frick with cyclops and then to try to hit on jean too.
Why did Jean make Bobby think he's gay?
>Sorry, you can't reprise your old voice role. You're white.
Imagine this happening in any other "professional" field.
If you put your dick into Iceman can you see it from the outside? would it be like having sex with a man of glass?
it freezes and snaps off, dummy
what if I'm made of fire like the Human Torch
ok so wasn't that true in the comics
like it was only 5 to start and he wasn't one of them
From what I remember is that Wolverine got sent to kill the X-Men or some shit for Weapon X. But then he got Stockholm syndrome and he now currently gets DP'd by Cyclops and Jean Grey.

I don't. I like the designs and ideas and the girls. Vast majority of comics suck massive ass.
This. There are only like 3 comic series I actually enjoyed.
>Batman / Detective
>Scooby Doo
>Spider-Man
And even then, most stories sucked.
Have you read any of the Batman/Scooby crossovers? There was one recently where Daphne took over for Batgirl recently when Barbara was injured, and I liked the play with redhair.
I haven't. Rarely read comics/manga nowadays. Think last one I read was Rover Red Charlie a month or so ago.
>. I may just be a filthy casual
Read astonishing X-men.

Good. Frick Logancucks. I want some Chad & Stacy Cyke x Jeannie KINO!
Will it include sodomites though?
Iceman's right there bruh
Would Brie after Marvels bombs agree to showing a cameo with Rogue stealing her powers?
I don't have any faith a Disney MCU x-men movie will be any good. The Fox movies tried to maintain challenging themes and ideas, Disney tries to make everyone happy, and that's not the way the world works.

No chance they're going to pass up the new and improved Bullverine and Cucklops relationship, the gays would throw a tantrum.
I can't believe they're actually doing this.
