I can't emphasise this enough but the Snyder cut is literally a different movie.
I know that you hear this a lot about different cuts of movies and they end up being almost the exact same minus or plus a little bit here and there but the Snyder cut is basically a completely different film with masses of different footage, different plotlines, villains and ending.
It's long as frick but it's a much better movie than Whedon's Justice League.
There have been tons of whispers for years Cavil didn't like Snyders take on Superman in BvS and tried to play him differently but Snyder completely rejected his take and they clashed a little bit. You can tell Cavil enjoys playing Superman in Josstice League, he wanted to play the Reeves type optimistic Superman, not the brooding le emo sad Snyder Superman. Almost everyone returned to shoot additional scenes for the Snyder cut, but Cavil did not.
Parts of the Whedon cut are superior. Deal with it, c**ts.
(You) >Such as?
A lot. Two random examples.
Steppenwolf arrives to Dyke Island at the beginning. In ZS cutz he blabbers about mommy then has a big ol' "Nooooo!" when the Amazons fled. In the theatrical, he said "Yes!" then relished in chasing and cutting down the Amazons, until he retrieved the box and says to the queen as the Amazons are storming toward that he's going to come back and dick-slay every last one of them. He said, "You'll love me. You all will."
You tell me which is better as a villain's introduction, sniffling dweeb who won't shut up about mommy or badass who relishes in conflict promising to sexually enslave a bunch of lesbians?
There's changes which don't even make sense. When the JL is fighting Pardemons, Batman has the giant spider-tank, Aquaman shows up and floods the place- recall? There's a part near the end when Flash runs around the circumference of the place to return WW's sword into her hand. He touches just the tip with his finger, placing the sword back in WW'S hand. In the theatrical cut, she immediately uses the sword to dispatch the Parademon she was battling. In ZS cut... nothing. Flash does the whole running thing, puts the sword in WW's hand, and she doesn't do anything with it. Nothing at all.
You have got to pay attention to things.
Don't forget Batman wrecking the Flying Fox in Russia and then it suddenly shows up at the end of the battle to take them home. Not only a plot hole but also ruins the shot lol
what about that time flash catches the debris falling on a group of people but then stops catching it for no reason and cyborg shoots it with the cannon that sprays the little parts all over the group?
visionary team up mufugga!
He didn't stop catching the debris for no reason, he thought he caught them all. >cyborg shoots it with the cannon that sprays the little parts all over the group?
Oh noes little parts that hurt no one!
Pay attention to the movie next time.
>You tell me which is better as a villain's introduction
Steppenwolf is actually more agressive/powerful and the amazons work way harder to stop in the Snyder version. They even try to implode their own temple to kill him, but it's worthless. So yeah, the Snyder version is better.
Don't forget Batman wrecking the Flying Fox in Russia and then it suddenly shows up at the end of the battle to take them home. Not only a plot hole but also ruins the shot lol
genuine moron cant even properly pay attention to the movies he is trying to criticize lmao
"He was more human than I am. He lived in this world; fell in love, got a job - despite all that power. The world needs Superman, and the team needs Clark."
this
meanwhile wonder israelite and clark were old friends >member that time we fought against doomsday? >or that time we fought against doomsday? >how about that time we fought against doomsday?
Yeah, and Joss added some to show Superman's humanity.

Its also moronic because checkov's gun of the movie was that parademons can smell fear, and yet a huge fricking commieblock went unnoticed all that time for superman to carry out. moronic!

In the first 10 min of the movie batman finds out that parademons are lured in by smelling fear.
an hour through the movie later, none of the parademons flying around their home base had smelled the civilians that had been stinking with no shower for days, also the fear of the situation. Superman carries out a whole apartment building of them
12 months ago

They show the parademons messing with the civilians. They show them leave when Batman drove them all towards him with the Batmobile.
>I also like how he stops in the middle of the fight to save civilians.
Because Steppenwolf doesn't have superspeed. It's farcically negligent to stop to save people while fighting someone like Zod who is fast enough to blitz attack 100 other people while you save 1, your job in that situation is purely to keep his attention off the citizens entirely which Superman did in MOS after Zod promised to kill humans just to spite Clark.
>Snyder cucks could never
This has nothing to do with disliking Snyder or not.
it does though. snyder never even had a single scene where superman was saving civilians in an optimistic light. when superman is actually helping people, y'know his main job, he always looks like a brooding autist seconds away from killing himself.

Literally the first scene on the oil rig. And right before it when a fisherman saves Clark from a cage falling on him, and Clark half smiles because a dude saved him despite him being Superman.

Wonder Woman and Aquaman both use magic artifacts as well. True we don’t know how anything besides Doomsday, Kryptonite, and Kryptonian atmosphere affect Superman, it didn’t really bother me I’m just being nitpicky. Magic usually gives him a hard time but different rules for different universe

Snydercucks have been saying this for years without any justification. When Legacy btfo MoS, how will you cope?
We already had multiple goofy, cheesy Superman movies. MoS was trying out realism, which we only had 1 movie previously and it wasn't very well received.
That line was fine, Batman dropping an f bomb at the end was actual cringe. The superman line that felt really out of place was “I’m a fan of truth, I’m also a big fan of justice”
How is the latter edgy? It’s just a normal line, even something Reeve would say. The former is a cheap one liner by Whedon that doesn’t even make sense in the context of the scene. I won’t say it’s terrible but I’m surprised at how easily supergays are impressed/satiated by it. And my biggest concern for Legacy right now is that Superman is going to be reduced to a caricature full of one liners. Unilaterally rejecting all aspects of Superman from mos/bvs/JL is a recipe for disaster. I’m not interested in a reactionary piece that’s going to be giving the “real Superman” I just want a compelling Superman. Unfortunately I think Gunn is gunning for a reactionary piece.
You wont let me live, you wont let me die was kind of kino for 2 seconds until you actually think about it, and honestly, i loathe to say it, but the elfman trumpets swell just right when superman turns his face to follow barry in the speed force, fits so much better than JunkieXL tribal drums #17
Everything else on a scene by scene comparison is total dogshit
>I'm here for him. >I swear I woud never... >Save it.
I like these little interactions in the Whedon cut. In ZSJL there's just no human drama, and whenever it tries to have some it's fricking ridiculous and cringe (Cyborg's dad dying).
Snyderchads...we're still making them seethe after all these years. They blame us for Flash's failure and they're going to blame us for Legacy's failure. It's glorious living in their heads rent free.
The Joker is not part of the Snyderverse
And no matter how much you will try to bomb thr Gunnverse, it will not bring back the Snyderverse. It is dead, buried.
>the year is 2045 >Batman and The Flash versus Superman Revamped has just released and flopped >WB is once again reminding the media that the film only flopped because of Snyder >meanwhile, Snyder has just released the 5th Rebel Moon spinoff >the first trilogy was so successful that it revitalised the entire space opera genre and brought netflix subscribers up to a new all time high >the spinoffs have reminded audiences how much wonder a franchise could have >there's even talk that George Lucas left an unmade script for his own spin off that David Fincher is considering directing
he always said he enojoyed the dumbest, warmer, happier Supes comparing to the complex, layered, god like yet very human character Snyder gave us. No one thinks Cavill is a smart ass
The Snyder cut is a better movie, but I agree with Cavill. You can tell he actually enjoyed playing the Donneresque Superman at the end and that's the only good part of the whedon cut.
Snyder is 90% of the reason why man of steel and the justice league in general sucked so fricking hard.
all the problems all that shit had, man of steel, batman vs superman, justice league, all of it was because Snyder has the mind of a 14 year old.
more like Zackaria is the reason why MOS, BVS and his JL are not a dumb Marvel copy paste shitfest, they have a very strong vision and style and people still talk about that after a decade
uhhh it sounds like Cavill might be the biggest danger to Cavill's career. I buy that he is doing this in an unselfaware earnest autistic manner though.
Visually, Man of Steel is so great that it eclipses anything the story is doing. It’s one of the few movies where the eye candy is strong enough to make the movie good enough for multiple rewatches.
I’m retrospect, it’s a shitty story on many levels.
>Clark can move faster than the eye can see, yet he can’t save his father from a tornado. Even with eyewitnesses, he could duck away for cover, super speed to rescue his dad and hide somewhere without witnesses. There’s a damn tornado, no one will notice. They’ll think the tornado sucked him away. >Clark fricks off after graduating high school? No college or any other goals? >He wanders the country, hitchhiking to Alaska for 15 years until he’s 33 years old? >He JUST starts to try flying for no reason after he discovers the ship and talks to his AI daddy. The AI didn’t even disclose flight as a possible ability of being under a yellow sun. >The speech with the AI suddenly makes him exhilarated with trying out his powers, and yet, you expect us to believe for 15 years he would move around and not try out his powers at all, with the exception of lashing out occasionally at sexist drunks (throwing a truck through a power line pole). >Zod can start flying within 30 seconds of removing his armor, yet Clark doesn’t even try until he’s 33 years old. >Clark doesn’t try to remove the battle from the city limits. He eventually takes the fight into space, but still manages to land the fight within the populated city. Beyond dumb.
The funniest thing about that movie is that he stands up to a guy who was harassing a girl at a bar he worked at, Clark gets shoved and he doesn't budge but the guy pours beer on him. He backs off and after that he DESTROYS the guys fricking truck like a FRICKING psychopath LMAO.
Because he was humiliated, and that made him frustrated and angry. And he can't take out his anger on the guy because he's Superman and if he tried he would kill the guy.
Oh wait right you're a Reeves fan. You would want Superman to beat up a bully and send him to the hospital or the morgue.
He’s invulnerable and has super strength. He’s had 30+ years to practice restraint.
Anybody else working in a bar/restaurant would be able to just grab the guy and toss him outside like a bouncer. But he has to turn the other cheek like he’s Jesus?
The movie already showed him exercising restraint by not fighting bullied when he was a teen. Does it really need a scene like this, too?
If you insist, just put the guy in a headlock and drag him outside and call the police on him. Pouring beer on an employee? The owner would ban the dude.

The whole point of the scene in MoS is to show that Superman is human too, and he is not perfect. He gets angry like anyone else. He makes mistakes like anyone else. He can get angry too because he's human.

It's also funny, gets a laugh whenever I've seen it with others.
It's not even his livelihood. Both my dad and uncle got into accidents while trucking. My uncle's truck was totaled, and my dad blew the back door of his truck when he was applying for his cdl. Both just called the insurance number and were fine in a few days.
The story wasn't even the worst part about that movie. I accidentally watched the director's cut first and the pacing and the editing was far worse than any superhero movie I've ever seen, even the Flash. If there was a good editor and they redid a few scenes to make everything more cohesive I would agree that the movie had potential. Never had any issues with the visuals and it definitely had some pretty shots.
can move faster than the eye can see
Not at this point in the story he can't
fricks off after graduating high school? No college or any other goals?
Woah. He did something different to you? No one in the whole of America would ever do that. That's a ding! >>He wanders the country, hitchhiking to Alaska for 15 years until he’s 33 years old?
He's clearly shown to have had multiple jobs. Did you actually watch the film or just put it on 2x speed? >>He JUST starts to try flying for no reason after he discovers the ship and talks to his AI daddy. The AI didn’t even disclose flight as a possible ability of being under a yellow sun.

>Snyder called Gunn after he got hired as the ceo of dc to tell him to scrap Cavill. >turns out Henry is a gaymer that was very stuck up when doing intimate scenes with Adams and would create alliances with certain writers behind Zack’s back
It’s all clear now
>Snyder is so bad Cavill wanted to have total control of his own superman
Henry has the means to make his own ORIGINAL superhero character then star in a movie portraying him. He CAN write a character better than Superman I know he can. It can actually be incredibly similar without being copyright infringement. POWERS and ABILITIES can not be copyrighted for example.
I actually never saw the original, but I can't blame anyone for liking a 2 hour version of a movie instead of the 3 hour movie. The entire last action scene just dragged and dragged and dragged and I didn't care about any of it.
>haters are now desperately clinging to Cavill to try and shit on Snyder
lmao, anything to avoid admitting you got filtered by a summer blockbuster hey?
>Superman starts off doing Superman stuff >takes lois to fortress for an interview and shows off all his cool silver age style stuff >is wistful for old krypton because he feels like he doesn’t really fit in on Earth >Brainiac Skull ship shows up and Superman gets zapped into bottle city of kandor >wakes up in hospital and everyone tells him he was in a coma and Earth was all a dream >meets up with his old boy hood dog Krypto and they manage to escape >Superman realizes that he belongs on Earth and that he shouldn’t be stuck thinking about the past on krypton >defeats Braniac and saves Metropolis and Kandor
Reminder Snyder’s Superman would eventually have turned out to be a cuckold.
On JL > “I think in the original script, Lois and Batman got together briefly. There was like this whole other thing that everyone was like, ‘Oh my god, you can’t do that.’ Superman’s dead. We had written it, especially since I had Amy [Adams] and Amy’s, like, a genius, I really felt like we should lean on Amy, because she’s just a great actress, and I think like a force of nature. I loved the idea of setting up this sort of concept, it’s sort of like when you’re in a movie where the husband goes off to war and he’s dead and the wife moves on and then the husband appears, like, ‘I’m not dead. I’m fine.’ How do you deal with that? I was super into that concept, that ‘oh no, Superman can be brought back to life.'”
Speculation from leaked storyboards > The now-deleted storyboards reveal that Justice League 2 was supposed to feature Bruce Wayne discovering Superman’s significant other was pregnant. But after a five-year time shift in Justice League 3, The Flash would travel back in time to tell Bruce, “Lois lied to you. You’re the father.” The news would then push Batman to be hit with Darkseid’s Omega Beam that killed Lois in another timeline before being killed in a battle with the supervillain. With Darkseid bested and the truth revealed, Clark Kent would then share that he always knew going on to raise Bruce’s son.
Based. I've been saying for years that the Whedon cut was superior.
Whedon cut: >Bruce comes up with the idea to resurrect Superman, everyone else is kind of uncomfortable with it, Diana protests fiercely >kino and soulful exchange between Barry and Vic when they're digging up Superman's body >kino moment of Diana telling Bruce "I'm only here for him" when they're waiting outside the crash site >Batman understands how dangerous the plan is and has Lois on stand-by as a contingency plan >"You won't let me live... but you won't let me die" absolute kino dialog from Superman before he annihilates Batman
Meanwhile, the Snyder cut: >everyone randomly comes up with the idea of resurrecting Superman at the same time and they're all just okay with it >bland, forgettable dialog between Barry and Vic at the cemetary, Arthur and Diana just stand there and watch for some reason >fifteen minutes of pointless Star Labs bullshit when they get to the crash site >pointless Knightmare bullshit >Batman is "operating purely on faith" and has no contingency whatsoever for if something goes wrong >it does >Batman's gauntlet can somehow stop Superman's heat vision >no dialog from Superman >Batman helplessly cowers in fear as he is about to be lasered to death >NOOOOO CLARK DON'T DO THIS!!! THIS ISN'T YOU!! >Lois randomly shows up and Superman fricks off >This wasn't even part of Batman's plan, for all he knew he was facing certain death and did nothing >also Cyborg's dad an heroes for some reason
We already knew this. That's why he simped so hard for it when it came out, didn't speak up when everyone else relayed what twat Whedon was, and was the only cast member not to come back and film additional scenes for the Snyder cut.
It's one of the reasons why no one cared about him cameoing in Black Adam because it clearly wasn't Snyder's Superman
There are trolls doing the stupid advocacy and then there are just normal people who likes Snyder's take on the Dc universe but don't care about him otherwise.
MOS is among my favorite films but I IMMEASURABLY would have preferred people push for MOS2 or the Batfleck film than the Snyder Cut.
>> Watchmen >Great >> Man of Steel >Very Good to Great (more flaws than Watchmen but also higher highs) >> BVS (theatrical) >Ok / Meh >> BVS (ultimate cut) >Good >> Justice League (theatrical) >Good
I really never got the hate for man of steel, it was the first 'super hero' movie that felt like the villains were tough as nails, and the soundtrack / vibes were good
I don’t get what the point is here. Henry was able to choose which of the three suits (mos, bvs, JL) he wanted to wear for the scene and chose the mos one because it’s special to him for obvious reasons. Not much more to it. The black suit doesn’t exist as it’s just the justice league suit with color grading. Even if the black suit did exist WB obviously wouldn’t let him wear it.
the point is snydergays are insane
they cry about Cavill "disrespecting Snyder" because the suit he wears in the Black Adam cameo has color, and now cry about him being replaced
That's not new information is it?
Cavill always wanted to play a more hopeful/traditional Superman and Whedon let him do it. It's not that complicated.
Kek if this is true then I have no hope for his 40k project. Holy shit the wheedon cut is terrible. Not a Snyder adept but his version is objectively better than wheedons.
>still talking about the Snydercut literally years later
Do you suppose Disney fifty-cent-army shills can't turn off their programming? They're stuck this way permanently, forced to talk about the long dead Snyderverse forever?
Well they both like Superman, but that's a stretch. Superman wasn't detached and apathetic to mankind like an alien monk. Having said that creative differences can be hard on a professional relationship, but still Cavill is always gentlemanly. I think it's likely the podcaster is just exagerrating for clout and promoting his podcast. Let him have his podcast but don't mislead, podcastman.
snyder doesn't like superman. he's explicit about how he doesn't, and how he's actually making a homelander-tier fanfic because that's more "realistic".
Except Cavill’s Superman is the exact opposite of Homelander. I’d say media literacy of comic gays is a good notch below manga gays which was already low to begin with.
>Except Cavill’s Superman is the exact opposite of Homelander
The optimistic Superman is in MoS, but he has a three movie arc - >Birth and Origins Story >"angry" superman, "Fall", Self Sacrifice and Death >Resurrection and return of the more optimistic Supes like the first one.
A 100% Christopher Reeve happy smiling Superman wouldn't work in the 2010s but still you see a good guy superman in two out of the three movies. He just has a story arc and that's a smart way to encapsulate the pessimism and nihilism of the times, in the middle of the story in BvS, but even then he restores his character, and Batman's character is restored as well, and the movie ends on a high note at the very last second. As far as ZSJL is concerned, the whedon cut was confusing and incompetent, and the 4h original was perhaps too much.

Further, the fixation on the gloomy Superman in BvS is missing the meaning of the entire trilogy, which has to do with giving everything of yourself, self-sacrifice, which coincidentally is the Christian ideal, as an antidote to despair, nihilism and ultimately immortality. Since the Snydercut was something backed up by fans and Zack Snyder knew he'd never get to do the JL sequels that he had talked about with the fans, he decided to shoot some scenes in secret on his driveway without telling WB where he got to show what some of his ideas for the sequels would entail.
These scenes are kinda shitty because it is a last minute thing he threw and only matter really to his fans that are sort of aware of his future plans.
They really don't add much to the movie or make the movie better.

agreed, if it had to be put in there somehow do it earlier on in the film, but it's purpose is to tie in future characters for future movies which doesn't add anything to the story and it takes you out of it a litt.e

It was supposed to be John Stewart but Hamada and Johns pulled the plug, Martian Manhunter was the compromise. Pic rel is a shot from the original scene. Apparently they didn’t let Zack use the character because they had “plans” for him, despite the Snyder Cut not being canon.
To be honest I think they didn’t allow it because it would be the straw that broke the camels back. The movie would generate too much buzz and they would been forced to work with that continuity. From not posting it on any of the WB social media accounts to trying to sabotage its release it’s very apparent how hard execs were seething.

Why do you lie, that's from the alternate universe nightmare sequence.
Cavill always seemed like an butthole to me, also it's not the first time he makes negative indirect remarks towards Snyder. I don't think it's a coincidence that he gets fricked over and loses roles constantly, he's probably very problematic to work with.
Even a israelite like Gal Gadot plays balls with Zack Snyder.
Snyder, Gadot, and Henry Cavill were in Brazil for the Netflix thing and Gadot was the only one seen to run after Snyder to hug him.
That movie felt like a fever dream, I didn't even know it released, absolutely nothing, no advertising no nothing. I'd have thought with it having all the bells and whistles, Batman, Superman, wonder woman etc that it would have been a big deal.
People blame Snyder for DC’s failure when it’s in fact Cavill’s fault. If he sided with Ben and the cast walk out was successful then real change would’ve happened. Instead he snaked out, sided with Whedon, and WB still kicked him to the curb afterwards. Grandma always said to never trust a gamer.
>I love product! *takes photo with product* haha based product sellers they let me take their product to take a photo with the product and tell you that I love product! *takes photo with another product* I was just sitting on the product when a photographer hired by the product seller came by haha!
I'm not into Snyder as a director but he should have bee given the freedom to play out his idea for the Justice League with whatever that mad max style apocalypse future was about.
At least Superman got to wear his iconic colors in that movie, even if Whedon went overboard with the saturation. The black suit should've been 2-3 scenes with Superman being blue, yellow and red at the very end.
This homosexual couldn't get an interview with Christopher Reeves' grave nevermind Henry Cavill.
Dude is supposedly notorious for making shit up for attention.
His podcast is GeekGab and barely even breaks into 100 views.
if they hadn’t fully turned on Cavill yet, they will now
Are we finally realizing the theatrical cut of justice league is not that bad and pretty entertaining?
>we
Do you have a mouse in your pocket, homo?
It's shit. i haven't watched the snyder cut so I can't compare.
Both are shit
>Snyderjeets spend the last week spamming Cavill on Cinemaphile in anger at the new casting
>He betrays their lord and master
Sirsbros....
Satan pls. This is a zero gravity 7d Pai Sho play by Cavil and Snyder I am sure of it
>Meanwhile, in reality…
Is that Ozymandias in an alternate universe?
Lmfao
Its sad to be a snydecuck
There have been tons of whispers for years Cavil didn't like Snyders take on Superman in BvS and tried to play him differently but Snyder completely rejected his take and they clashed a little bit. You can tell Cavil enjoys playing Superman in Josstice League, he wanted to play the Reeves type optimistic Superman, not the brooding le emo sad Snyder Superman. Almost everyone returned to shoot additional scenes for the Snyder cut, but Cavil did not.
He's just saying that to get on Warner's good side.
>nooooo people cant ever just be honest
>english sarcasm flies over pajeet heads
it's probably in his contract that he has to say that. yes i'm coping.
Parts of the Whedon cut are superior. Deal with it, c**ts.
Such as?
Wonder Woman not blowing up a building for no reason, and more of an impasse on whether they should try to resurrect Superman
It’s shorter
>
(You)
>Such as?
>I'll frick you till you love me homosexual!
what about that time flash catches the debris falling on a group of people but then stops catching it for no reason and cyborg shoots it with the cannon that sprays the little parts all over the group?
visionary team up mufugga!
He didn't stop catching the debris for no reason, he thought he caught them all.
>cyborg shoots it with the cannon that sprays the little parts all over the group?
Oh noes little parts that hurt no one!
Pay attention to the movie next time.
curry cope, disgusting
Can't argue against facts, nig
>You tell me which is better as a villain's introduction
Steppenwolf is actually more agressive/powerful and the amazons work way harder to stop in the Snyder version. They even try to implode their own temple to kill him, but it's worthless. So yeah, the Snyder version is better.
The Whedon cut was the one where he wouldn't stop crying about mom. The Snydercut is where he chases them. You know this.
genuine moron cant even properly pay attention to the movies he is trying to criticize lmao
hahaha dumbass look this Black person samegayging and talking to himself
"He was more human than I am. He lived in this world; fell in love, got a job - despite all that power. The world needs Superman, and the team needs Clark."
Not a good dialogue since Bruce barely talked with Clark.
>character couldn't be deduced by the world's greatest detective
Snyderbots never understand
How can a detective deduce someone's personal life without knowing nothing about him?
...He met him at Lex's gala before he went snooping around, they had a whole argument about superman and batman
in snyderworld lex luthor is the world's greatest detective
bruce wayne is le angry so he can't do anything properly
this
meanwhile wonder israelite and clark were old friends
>member that time we fought against doomsday?
>or that time we fought against doomsday?
>how about that time we fought against doomsday?
The Snyder cut does the thing but visually (the hologram scene)
Superman's introduction in the Whedon cut is unironically better and captures the character better than Snyder's moronic
"HEH, NOT IMPRESSED" line that comes off like it was from a 14 year old
>did you ever fight a hippo?
HOLY SHIT! KINO!!!!!!
I meant when he reappears to fight Steppenwolf not the garbage cgi mustache shit
I also like how he stops in the middle of the fight to save civilians. Snyder cucks could never
there weren't civilians to save in the snyder cut, it was an abandoned city
Yeah, and Joss added some to show Superman's humanity.
Its also moronic because checkov's gun of the movie was that parademons can smell fear, and yet a huge fricking commieblock went unnoticed all that time for superman to carry out. moronic!
... What are you trying to say with this post? I've read it ten times and I don't get it.
In the first 10 min of the movie batman finds out that parademons are lured in by smelling fear.
an hour through the movie later, none of the parademons flying around their home base had smelled the civilians that had been stinking with no shower for days, also the fear of the situation. Superman carries out a whole apartment building of them
They show the parademons messing with the civilians.
And right before it when a fisherman saves Clark from a cage falling on him, and Clark half smiles because a dude saved him despite him being Superman.
first scene in the oil rig could have been good but instead it's played with his dark moody shit that snyder is obsessed with an ends with another fricking "superman is jesus" imagery.
>I dont care that he's saving people, I want him to smile while doing it!
you're literally a karen. LOL
>"HEH, NOT IMPRESSED" line that comes off like it was from a 14 year old
that scene is fricking moronic even for snyder
way to undermine the justice league and the villain and make the hero into a homosexual in one fell swoop
and for what? not to mention superman had no way to tell if the axe is gonna hurt him or not
snyder in a nutsack
>not to mention superman had no way to tell if the axe is gonna hurt him or not
>snyder in a nutsack
He can tell the density of the material with his vision.
NTA but he can’t see magic. He’s got no clue if it’s enchanted or not. It’s stupid but I’ll chalk it up to capeshit slop looking for an epic moment. Nothing too offensive
magic and its rules hadnt been established in universe yet, the only thing capable of cutting superman was doomsday's spike.
never mind im moronic and forgot suicide squad
But it was never established that steppenwolf's axe is magical, or if he's a "god" with special divinity like strength
Nah that was cheesy as shit, didn't feel like the Superman from MOS would say that.
Heh Not Impressed fit way better
It's Superman, he's supposed to be fricking cheesy boyscout.
No one likes cheesy superman, it's not the fricking 70's anymore.
So that means Superman can't save people or care about truth and justice? Jesus you people are insane.
You're a fricking moron.
He does care about truth and justice, it's just better if he's not a cornball about it
>I believe in truth, but I'm a big fan of justice
>mfw in the theater
Still better than Coldsteel the Hedgehog's "not impressed". Sometimes it's okay to be corny. I don't know what to tell you.
He has the Kryptonian word for hope on his chest.
The superman line that felt really out of place was “I’m a fan of truth, I’m also a big fan of justice”
the truth and justice one feels more superman than the edgy not impressed line
In ZSJL there's just no human drama, and whenever it tries to have some it's fricking ridiculous and cringe (Cyborg's dad dying).
>it's fricking ridiculous and cringe (Cyborg's dad dying)
I don't believe it until I hear him say it. And if I do hear him say it I'll just say its AI and fake.
>t. gay for cavil
I disagree
i dont like whedon either, but having superman fight zod in a crowded city was gay as FRICK
take that shit out to the mountains
Most of where they fought was evacuated due to the world engine event. The engine did way more damage to people and property than the fight.
>take that shit out to the mountains
How? Superman flies away and Zod stays in the city now with nobody to stop him from killing civies.
>Justice League
>fight zod
that is in BvS not justice league, moron-kun
snyderjeets how do we reconcile with the reality
Snyderchads...we're still making them seethe after all these years. They blame us for Flash's failure and they're going to blame us for Legacy's failure. It's glorious living in their heads rent free.
>snyder made the joker
do snyderjeets have no shame
The Joker is not part of the Snyderverse
And no matter how much you will try to bomb thr Gunnverse, it will not bring back the Snyderverse. It is dead, buried.
Consider it a mercy.
Woah Joker 2 looks awesome.
>the year is 2045
>Batman and The Flash versus Superman Revamped has just released and flopped
>WB is once again reminding the media that the film only flopped because of Snyder
>meanwhile, Snyder has just released the 5th Rebel Moon spinoff
>the first trilogy was so successful that it revitalised the entire space opera genre and brought netflix subscribers up to a new all time high
>the spinoffs have reminded audiences how much wonder a franchise could have
>there's even talk that George Lucas left an unmade script for his own spin off that David Fincher is considering directing
It's fake.
Friendship ended with the Cavil
OH NO NO NO N OON ONOOOOOOO
Snyderchads, it's time for mass suicide to protest these remarks. Whose with me?
That is too much work bro Ill just sulk in the subreddit instead see you there
he always said he enojoyed the dumbest, warmer, happier Supes comparing to the complex, layered, god like yet very human character Snyder gave us. No one thinks Cavill is a smart ass
The Snyder cut is a better movie, but I agree with Cavill. You can tell he actually enjoyed playing the Donneresque Superman at the end and that's the only good part of the whedon cut.
Nope that comment cant into real there is simply no way
NO SIR DO NOT REDEEM WHEDON CUT DO NOT REDEEM DO NOT REDEEM IT
Snyder is so bad Cavill wanted to have total control of his own superman
Snyder is 90% of the reason why man of steel and the justice league in general sucked so fricking hard.
all the problems all that shit had, man of steel, batman vs superman, justice league, all of it was because Snyder has the mind of a 14 year old.
I like what Snyder did in MoS. He made Goyer/Nolan' s story watchable
cope
more like Zackaria is the reason why MOS, BVS and his JL are not a dumb Marvel copy paste shitfest, they have a very strong vision and style and people still talk about that after a decade
>they are bad because Supeman has flaws and conflicts
uhhh it sounds like Cavill might be the biggest danger to Cavill's career. I buy that he is doing this in an unselfaware earnest autistic manner though.
Snyderbots were saying everyone loved working with Snyder and he was such a great director. Looks like that was all Snyder PR. Kek it's over.
>Actor gets uppity and thinks he is a writer/director
Hate to see it.
Who the frick are these people? lmao
>Somebody criticized...Snyder???
>bro here's your proof… a screenshot of a random tweet
Cavill's Man of Steel ideas were probably better than the 1st one by a few miles.
Snyder's Man of Steel is one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen.
I know this. You know this. We all know the point of that scene. Put down your hate boner for a second.
It's also funny, gets a laugh whenever I've seen it with others.
I don't know why people get so butthurt over this scene. Oh no some fictional buttholes livelihood
Holy fricking shit. Watch the fricking film
Jesus christ, this entire post is clearly b8. Congrats
fricks off after graduating high school? No college or any other goals?
He literally had a Kansas University shirt.
This anon did not watch the movie.
>from the same people who said that cavill was an incel who harrased women with refusal to get naked on Witcher set
I'd take it all with the grain of salt. Especially given the weird timing.
Wow I wonder why Gunn didn't want to bring him back?
>Snyder called Gunn after he got hired as the ceo of dc to tell him to scrap Cavill.
>turns out Henry is a gaymer that was very stuck up when doing intimate scenes with Adams and would create alliances with certain writers behind Zack’s back
It’s all clear now
>It’s all clear now
Snyder wanted Henry's ass and Henry said no
>Snyder is so bad Cavill wanted to have total control of his own superman
Henry has the means to make his own ORIGINAL superhero character then star in a movie portraying him. He CAN write a character better than Superman I know he can. It can actually be incredibly similar without being copyright infringement. POWERS and ABILITIES can not be copyrighted for example.
based and gigachad-gay-nerd pilled
it probably took too much time from him playing WH40K.
It’s too bad Henry got saddled with Snyder’s twisted vision
He seems like he really wanted to make a good Superman movie
I actually never saw the original, but I can't blame anyone for liking a 2 hour version of a movie instead of the 3 hour movie. The entire last action scene just dragged and dragged and dragged and I didn't care about any of it.
The truth is coming out. Snyder was a hack all along, and only now are SnyderCucks realizing it.
>only now has Snyder cut his annual online marketing spend
Sure.
>haters are now desperately clinging to Cavill to try and shit on Snyder
lmao, anything to avoid admitting you got filtered by a summer blockbuster hey?
Imagine not getting filtered by gay summer capeshit
>Superman starts off doing Superman stuff
>takes lois to fortress for an interview and shows off all his cool silver age style stuff
>is wistful for old krypton because he feels like he doesn’t really fit in on Earth
>Brainiac Skull ship shows up and Superman gets zapped into bottle city of kandor
>wakes up in hospital and everyone tells him he was in a coma and Earth was all a dream
>meets up with his old boy hood dog Krypto and they manage to escape
>Superman realizes that he belongs on Earth and that he shouldn’t be stuck thinking about the past on krypton
>defeats Braniac and saves Metropolis and Kandor
There I wrote a Superman movie . Piece of cake
Glad you're not a script writer.
>what if For the Man Who Has Everything, but shit
Superman gets trapped in the bottle city of Kandor in the first brainiac appearance.
Sounds good, write it.
Snydersirs, we got too wienery
Imagine putting so much work into your hair/beard and then wearing fricking sandals in public. Regrettable, truly.
imagine the smell
I love curry so much...
good for you i guess
Reminder Snyder’s Superman would eventually have turned out to be a cuckold.
On JL
> “I think in the original script, Lois and Batman got together briefly.
Speculation from leaked storyboards
> The now-deleted storyboards reveal that Justice League 2 was supposed to feature Bruce Wayne discovering Superman’s significant other was pregnant.
Whedon cut:
>Bruce comes up with the idea to resurrect Superman, everyone else is kind of uncomfortable with it, Diana protests fiercely
>kino and soulful exchange between Barry and Vic when they're digging up Superman's body
>kino moment of Diana telling Bruce "I'm only here for him" when they're waiting outside the crash site
>Batman understands how dangerous the plan is and has Lois on stand-by as a contingency plan
>"You won't let me live... but you won't let me die" absolute kino dialog from Superman before he annihilates Batman
Meanwhile, the Snyder cut:
>everyone randomly comes up with the idea of resurrecting Superman at the same time and they're all just okay with it
>bland, forgettable dialog between Barry and Vic at the cemetary, Arthur and Diana just stand there and watch for some reason
>fifteen minutes of pointless Star Labs bullshit when they get to the crash site
>pointless Knightmare bullshit
>Batman is "operating purely on faith" and has no contingency whatsoever for if something goes wrong
>it does
>Batman's gauntlet can somehow stop Superman's heat vision
>no dialog from Superman
>Batman helplessly cowers in fear as he is about to be lasered to death
>NOOOOO CLARK DON'T DO THIS!!! THIS ISN'T YOU!!
>Lois randomly shows up and Superman fricks off
>This wasn't even part of Batman's plan, for all he knew he was facing certain death and did nothing
>also Cyborg's dad an heroes for some reason
Apologize.
>Batman is "operating purely on faith" and has no contingency whatsoever for if something goes wrong
Oh my science! Did..did he operate in faith!!!?
Is this the post that will kill nu-casting seethe threads?
Snyder killed DC, regardless of what you think about his movies, the fact is he split the fanbase right down the fricking middle.
I hate Snyder almost as much as I hate India
We already knew this. That's why he simped so hard for it when it came out, didn't speak up when everyone else relayed what twat Whedon was, and was the only cast member not to come back and film additional scenes for the Snyder cut.
It's one of the reasons why no one cared about him cameoing in Black Adam because it clearly wasn't Snyder's Superman
He has said be wanted to play optimistic hopeful Superman so this isn't surprising or a big deal.
The theatrical cut was never offensive or bad just as generic but fun superhero movie.
There is no fricking Snyder Cult.
>There is no fricking Snyder Cult.
Oh, my sweet summer child.
>There is no fricking Snyder Cult

lmao, classic Cinemaphile
I don’t get what the point is here. Henry was able to choose which of the three suits (mos, bvs, JL) he wanted to wear for the scene and chose the mos one because it’s special to him for obvious reasons. Not much more to it. The black suit doesn’t exist as it’s just the justice league suit with color grading. Even if the black suit did exist WB obviously wouldn’t let him wear it.
the point is snydergays are insane
they cry about Cavill "disrespecting Snyder" because the suit he wears in the Black Adam cameo has color, and now cry about him being replaced
Like one guy sure. The Snyder gays were mainly mad about the Williams theme being used instead of Zimmer, which is just.
That's not new information is it?
Cavill always wanted to play a more hopeful/traditional Superman and Whedon let him do it. It's not that complicated.
Kek if this is true then I have no hope for his 40k project. Holy shit the wheedon cut is terrible. Not a Snyder adept but his version is objectively better than wheedons.
>wheedon cut is terrible
It's literally just Snyder's pile of shit mandated to cut down to two hours.
Forgot the extensive reshoots and entirely different third act or just moronic?
>different third act
Attacking nuclear power plant and yelling Booyah and My Man?
>wholesome guy prefers Superman to uncaring Manslaughter of Steel who lasers down US troops just because they dared to save Flash life
Absolutely shocking.
>still talking about the Snydercut literally years later
Do you suppose Disney fifty-cent-army shills can't turn off their programming? They're stuck this way permanently, forced to talk about the long dead Snyderverse forever?
I sure hope so.
Cavill avoids drama and is always nice in public appearances, it's not like him to throw Snyder under the bus like that.
>throw Snyder under the bus
Cavill just likes Superman, while Snyder just made dr. Manhattan mk.2
The optimistic Superman is in MoS
The MoS first fight literaly begins with Kal-El throwing Zod through gas station full of people.
>The MoS first fight literaly begins with Kal-El throwing Zod through gas station full of people.
An abandoned gas station.
>An abandoned gas station.
Do abandoned gas stations usually have four cars parked at the pumps in the midfle of the day? The cope is fricking unreal.
those cars were abandoned
and the fuel in the station tank was abandoned as well
>The MoS first fight literaly begins with Kal-El throwing Zod through gas station full of people.
Sounds like classic Superman to me
This.
There’s a JLU clip of Superman punching Kalibak through a building into parking lot and everything just explodes
Yeah. Shit like that happened in almost every episode to the point it became a meme on Cinemaphile about Metropolis being a non-stop destruction zone.
For some reason Snyder is hated for doing shit every Superman cartoon or movie has done in the past.
I found it. I was mistaken, it was Grundy not Kalibak

Make a webm.
> using Justice Lord Superman
Lmao anon, use a better example at the very least
The optimistic Superman is in MoS, but he has a three movie arc -
>Birth and Origins Story
>"angry" superman, "Fall", Self Sacrifice and Death
>Resurrection and return of the more optimistic Supes like the first one.
Forgot to say, obviously it's more interesting for Superman to have character development and change throughout the trilogy.
I can't fricking remember these movies with all the reshoots and different versions and shit. but if you're going to pretend that mr "I don't want this responsibility" superman is OPTIMISTIC then you're mentally fricking deficient. superman doesn't see protecting people as an obligation or a responsibility or a burden. he sees it as a joy and a privilege and an honour. snyder misunderstands the characters so profoundly it hurts my head. and speaking of heads, you should bash yours into a concrete surface for defending him. frick you.
>he sees it as a joy and a privilege and an honour
that's how it is in two out of the three movies, 1 and 3, maybe you need to bash your head into the monitor because you can't read, he has an ARC
Further, the fixation on the gloomy Superman in BvS is missing the meaning of the entire trilogy, which has to do with giving everything of yourself, self-sacrifice, which coincidentally is the Christian ideal, as an antidote to despair, nihilism and ultimately immortality. The moral of the story isn't
>just be angry and depressed bro, emo for life
>moron
It’s too bad the actual romance between Clark and Lois was fricking boring as hell. Reeves blows it out of the water.
>A 100% Christopher Reeve happy smiling Superman wouldn't work in the 2010s
It seems to be working for the CW show. Snydercucks are something else jeez.
OK but an 70-80% happy superman works across the trilogy, nitpicker. Point still stands, the trilogy is dramatic, as intended, still, BvS is not the end of the story, the pessimistic and cynical Superman and Batman characters aren't set in stone, but they progress go back to their roots in the next movie. Are you people fricking dense.
Sirs... the deepness...
KINO
Not that it's any of your business but I'm European, you just have no legitimate answer. Keep doing your strawmen and ad homs.
>they progress go back to their roots in the next movie.
except it ends like this
Is that the ZSJL ending? I remember it being a panning shot of the heroes from light to left.
it's time to spin!
and by the way, they call me The Mankind's Mutilator
oh yeah the martian guy that was a weird ending. Remove that scene, it would've been better. There were some weird reshoots I think, something with batflect too, studio meddling?
It's just snyder being a moron and doing additional shooting because surprise surprise snyder cut existing was bullshit
Here’s a bts pic from Snyders driveway
also known as Pa Kent's Butthole Gaper my penis went like this
Why do you lie, that's from the alternate universe nightmare sequence.
>it's not like him to throw Snyder under the bus
All he's saying is that he prefers the Whedon cut of JL. How is that throwing him under the bus?
True, but that's Cinemaphile trying to make this more dramatic than it is, I'm just replying to that.
Why the frick would Cavill run after Snyder to hug him?
All actors love Snyder
>Cavill always seemed like an butthole to me
New cope just dropped
If truth, Cavill deserved to be tricked by WB.
good morning sirs
That movie felt like a fever dream, I didn't even know it released, absolutely nothing, no advertising no nothing. I'd have thought with it having all the bells and whistles, Batman, Superman, wonder woman etc that it would have been a big deal.
People blame Snyder for DC’s failure when it’s in fact Cavill’s fault. If he sided with Ben and the cast walk out was successful then real change would’ve happened. Instead he snaked out, sided with Whedon, and WB still kicked him to the curb afterwards. Grandma always said to never trust a gamer.
Always a gentleman.
>luckily for me
OOF
>luckily for me, Millie, there is only room for one
Holy kek
Yeouch!
I just want to point out those are 2 different motorcycles
>luckily for me
wahoo based henry shilling like a motherfricker
I don't think that's what shilling means
>I love product! *takes photo with product* haha based product sellers they let me take their product to take a photo with the product and tell you that I love product! *takes photo with another product* I was just sitting on the product when a photographer hired by the product seller came by haha!
oh shilling the bike you mean, gotcha
I'm not into Snyder as a director but he should have bee given the freedom to play out his idea for the Justice League with whatever that mad max style apocalypse future was about.
The gays b***hing about Superman’s characterization are no larger than the Snyder cultists. In actuality nobody cares. Superman is Superman.
and if he lied he will be barred from posting lies on the internet, right?
yeah that's how the internet works, truth is mandatory, no lies are allowed
Joss is a good director, bros.
what are his top two movies?
When krypton was destroyed no one was actually hurt, because it was abandoned.
At least Superman got to wear his iconic colors in that movie, even if Whedon went overboard with the saturation. The black suit should've been 2-3 scenes with Superman being blue, yellow and red at the very end.
Superman was only in 2-3 scenes in the first place though.
Good for him for being honest
UHH SNYDERBROS?!?!?!?
i fricking love Henry Cavill and im tired of pretending otherwise. what an outstanding person. everyone has their flaws but law of averages etc
This homosexual couldn't get an interview with Christopher Reeves' grave nevermind Henry Cavill.
Dude is supposedly notorious for making shit up for attention.
His podcast is GeekGab and barely even breaks into 100 views.
