I genuinely don't believe TUFF Puppy had ANY impact on the Nick brand the same way Rocko, ZIM, Loud House, Danny Phantom, or Jimmy Neutron did. It lies in the same forgettable pile as Breadwinners or Robot & Monster.
El Tigre didn't have any impact within the network either yet he's in. Arguably the same could be said about Angry Beavers and Catdog.
El Tigre was a good cartoon, whereas TUFF Puppy was the definition of mid.
Doesn't matter. It's a show that flopped after a single season and earned a cult following at most. That's not exactly an "impact on the Nick brand", so any lesser known Nicktoon is fair game regardless of quality.
El Tigre is good for international appeal, especially since LatAM countries are a good potential market for fighting games.
Let me rephrase my statement by saying TUFF Puppy didn't have enough of an impact for a secondary character to make it into the roster. Protagonist, as in TUFF Puppy, yes. Anyone else? Probably not. I don't know anything about the roster, but I'm going to guess El Tigre's only representation is with MC of the show and nobody else.
It didn't. It was just a "kind of there show". It honestly was bad, specially compared to other shows (or later seasons of other more beloved shows) that could get offensively bad even. But it wasn't that good either, mostly it could be dumb and repetitive. I guess kids could get some entertainment out of it, and the characters did had (for the most) a solid fundament, their were just trapped repeating the same jokes over and over. Again, just a run of the mill joke, with some solid designs here and there (not just the furry bait), not bad enough to be among the "dark ages" of Nick (it came alongside Planet Sheen for crying of loud) but not even close to be one of it's classics. I kind of get being somehow nostalgic for the show, tho. And yes, I am the kind of degenate who would like Kitty on the game, but I won't push for her over Timmy or or Snap/Rudy, and I know Otis and Miko have more demand, I don't expect it either. I would said, she was still a better pick than Gerald or Gertie.

Been rewatching El Tigre, I find funny that Irwin's VA from Grim Adventures had to apologize for voicing him yet Grey not only voiced a black character in Foster's but also did a fake Mexican accent for Frida in this show and didn't say shit while supporting typecasting based on race and recasting VAs based on race on Twitter, anyways her voice for Frida and Kitty are the exact same aside from the Mexican accent and I find that funny

Well, before the leaks, she was on the top 20 for the game, and now she is top 10. She also did place far higher than Ember for what's worth (though it's also worth noting that Ember did place in the polls to begin with)
