Tarantino. Did you noticed that every single of his movies in past two decades is some moronic wishful thinking revenge porn?
You had israeli commando killing Hitler, then it was killing Confederates, then it was black slave killing plantation owner including the house Black, even Once Upon Hollywood was brave blue collar killing people to protect his beloved movie star when they dared to attack the star in his segregated community.

Now it will be the combination of all four of them - chuds criticising and review bombing movies.

        Wrong take regarding OUATIH.
Cliff already had a previous encounter with the hippies. He didn't need a reason to frick them up when they showed up armed to the house.

Yeah I like Tarantino but Inglorious Basterds, Django and Hollywood all felt like the same movie in different settings. Hollywood had more going on, but still the hippy stuff and ending just made it feel like another entry in the same saga

Once upon a time in Hollywood was a great film up until the ending which just blew the wind right out of it.

Why the frick did they decide to make the ending an over the top action movie with silly deaths? Shit was really fricking lame.

The ending should have been the killing, or at least the killers hitting the wrong house or something. There was actual suspense leading up to the house invasion, just to be made into a cheese fest. Can't believe they tacked that shit on the end, fricking lazy cop-out writing stupid frick probably wrote himself into a hole and ran out of ideas.

You're supposed to dread what it's leading up to. And just before the finale, Tarantino leads into it hard with a ton of tension. Then he flips it on its head, as he often does, with one of the most cathartic scenes ever shot. It really is that simple. If you don't get it, then you're missing the emotion which lets you enjoy characters we've been conditioned to like narrowly escaping a grim fate. So in that regard, it's a wonder you like any movies at all.

If you actually used your brain you would realize that plenty of movies have an action-oriented third act. It's actually what a buildup is meant to lead to.
Taxi Driver has a cathartic violent ending.
          So does Robocop.
And it's not like Cliff Booth's violent nature comes out of the blue. It's telegraphed all throughout the movie. We know he killed his wife. We saw him beat up Bruce Lee. We even saw him beat up the hippie to a bloody pulp at the Spawn ranch earlier. Also the flamethrower is introduced early on.

It's a boomer escapist fantasy where the Manson Murders never happened since Manson was the sole reason why the Flower Power movement died off.

Altamont murder is the unofficial last straw. Actual hippies in real life partake in violence + unruliness when left to their own devices.

You are the dumbest Black person in this thread. The ending was THE BEST scene from the movie from tarintinos best film. How fricking moronic do you have to be to not respect a well coordinated fighting sequence that incorporates details scattered throughout the film. Jesus just delete your comment now you Black person coal loving homosexual.

Film is all he knows about. He's at the end of his succesful career so he doesn't even need to add all the hitmen or bounty hunters or other criminals as a thin plot to veil all the nerding about cinema. He's just straight up writing about movies and actors and film criticism.
