zou bisou is the exact moment his Don Draper persona cracked. it was all downhill from there
he liked her at first because she seemed "happier" than betty. she gave the appearance of having confidence and being carefree, etc. but slowly she revealed that she was an insecure mess(just like betty) who needs constant validation and attention.
when she did the zou bisou that was the final straw because now she was demonstrating that desperate need for validation and attention to OTHER PEOPLE and not just to Don in private. being that attention hungry/insecure in front of a party of people embarrassed Don.

if don wasnt broken himself he could have easily salvaged either woman and led them like a real father/husband. but he was also insecure and wanted that image of being a 'perfect man/husband/etc' and having a neurotic wife burst his bubble each time. he never comes close to understanding or working on any of this. he just coasts through life faking it the whole time, dead on the inside. the end of the series where he is smiling proves he is stuck chasing fake 'happiness' and he will fall into the trap again and again.
