Looks shitty and semi-woke yet a step in the right direction for Disney. Perhaps a sign they're going back to the magic of imagination and wholesome, heartwarming family-friendly fun????? :

explain how
Because it has black people, anon.
It's not that she's black. It's that she looks like a race swapped tangled, rather than aunique character design like Princess Tiana. Princess and the Frog is just as magical as classic Disney.
>It's that she looks like a race swapped tangled
They're likely using a variation of that cg rig like they did in Frozen.
Exactly! I didn't like Tangled, and I hated Frozen. Since this movie is going to be a Tangled/Frozen remake, I'm not interested. It even has the same awkward and cringe sense of "humor" that's not even funny. I am glad Disney is finally doing something other than crappy live action remakes.
>set in Spain
>everyone is brown
>dreads/cornrows
1. It's not everyone
2. Spain had blacks/moors
3. It's a fantasy version of Spain anyway
Imagine how sad your life is to be upset about brown people in a movie
Moors were Arab converts. I don't understand why everyone acts like they were black
>I don't understand why everyone acts like they were black
Political convenience. Remember that whole bit where the British royalty was pushing that Queen Charlotte was black, acting like some dumbass Americans trying to claim some Native American ancestry?
That's one of the strangest parts of studying Spanish history for a dumb burger like me lol
>last king of Granada
>he was blonde haired
>he was blue eyed
>didn't speak a word of Arabic, needed translators for some basic Islamic stuff
It was really a moment that opened my eyes to how propagandized history is here.
Learning that everything I learned in history growing up in the US public education system was a total lie, I'm not at all surprised.
Yes, and Aroura didn't have her hair properly tied back for a woman in her time period either.
She looks like the average European unironically
>>set in Spain
is brown
piel oliva
Jokes and character design are cringe. The whole movie looks like a low effort race swapped Tangled remake with a white man as her villain and modern non-funny humor. People are saying it also has an anti-God message, but idk about that.
I feel like I'm getting some Mandella Effect or some shit because I do not remember her looking that black in the early teasers.
She wasn't.
Even in the teaser from 5 months ago she has the micro-braids and the freckles and shit. I could've sworn she had regular hair.
Seriously, I feel like I'm getting gaslit.
It's because you are! The exact same thing happened with the Barbie movie. They're all going to lie about the woke garbage in their movies from now on and deceive audiences into thinking their movies are not going to have political propaganda and agendas pushed unto everyone all the time. The Disney CEO admitted to this: more covert and subtle messaging rather than obvious messaging
What the frick is political about a character having braids
Read
>It's not that she's black. It's that she looks like a race swapped tangled, rather than a unique character design like Princess Tiana. Princess and the Frog is just as magical as classic Disney.
>handsome king
Ah, but having pretty princesses is oppressive and patriarchal, what a load of crap
The world just looks very uninteresting
Is this gonna be the new panic attack?
What kid is going to want merch of that??
I would have killed for a "random chubby woman with a limp" action figure as a kid.
>crying woke
and your opinion is worthless
