I've seen Mandalorian and Rogue One but have successfully avoided the peer pressure to watch anything else.
It's weird to get all the >don't you like start wars
Comments from everyone I still talk to this side of high school. Because to me people who like star wars should naturally hate this shit.
David Prowse literally got more credit for playing Vader than JEJ at the time, whereas Disney tried to hide this and pretend it was Pedro the whole time.
>Not true, there have been articles about this since season 1
But it was never confirmed. They didn't put anyone but Pedro as a credit for Mando until season 3
>But it was never confirmed. They didn't put anyone but Pedro as a credit for Mando until season 3
What the frick are you talking about? They literally all appeared on Disney's biggest official Star Wars event.
>Earlier this summer during Star Wars Celebration, Pascal helped kick off The Mandalorian presentation by welcoming Wayne and Crowder to the stage, praising their performances and introducing them to the crowd as the show's "other two daddies." Later, EW sat down with Pascal one on one, and he opened up about collaborating with Wayne and Crowder — and how their mannerisms have influenced his own performance.
>"It's been a collaborative process from the beginning," Pascal explained. "I was given the opportunity to establish physical specificity in some ways at the start of the show, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't observing and picking up from what they're doing and handing over so much of it as well. They do the heavy lifting."

Sort of. Kathleen Kennedy got into Pedro's ear and got him to demand more on-camera screentime and even walk around without the mask on, because she got wienerblocked on trying to make Baby Yoda a girl as part of her war on men and the fact that since she didn't create Baby Yoda (the only financially successful Nu-SW character in the Disney era), she openly despises Mandalorian and wanted to both undermine and sabatoge it out of spite with Pedro and his ego as her weapon.
>Did you know that James Earl Jones only VOICED Darth Vader? >He never appeared on screen in the suit! Ever! Not once!
HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, but did they publicly declare him the face of the product and pay him millions of dollars?
No. It was an aside.
The whole PR machine was behind him.
When they should have treated him like Vin Diesel voicing Groot.
this isnt a secret they showed that was the case for even in season 1 besides a couple parts and the last episode. George entirely redubbed Boba, the clone troopers were cgi so they are all just voiceover. doesnt make the last season any better though
pascal never looked the part imo
if the mandalorian is this badass killer, he should look bigger and more menacing. pascal has narrow shoulders and a skinny neck, he doesn't look scary.
bobba was not a huge guy under the suit either. the more important consideration in both cases is that their thin frames make it easier to move around and act with the costume. same with peter weller and robo cop
Can someone explain what they did to the mandalorian. It was the one Star wars Disney release that had any sort of critical good will and people liked, yet it seems as though the purposely sabotaged it and told all the audience to stop watching. When S3 came out it was both shit and the audience didn't even acknowledge it being shit they just didn't speak of it at all. I know they tied in boba fett which sucked but why, mando was actually good and they blew it.
maybe just maybe star wars is a shit franchise with awful people behind the scenes. Maybe the fans just have nostalgia for a series that was never as good as it was when they were ten.
Why not just train an AI to voice him to and then cgi him as well. As long as Pedro likes the post about it it's practically the same thing as him performing.
I never watched the Mandalorian or any of the Disney nuStar Wars movies.
I kneel.
I only watched the force awakens but none of the other shit
I've seen Mandalorian and Rogue One but have successfully avoided the peer pressure to watch anything else.

I've literally watched the "prequels" 2 & 3 once, hated them, and have never watched Star Wars related content ever since.
I watched The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Rogue One.
I really wish I hadn't.
I watched TFA, Rogue One, and Solo. All were shit but Solo was the least shit.
>lateef crowder
Mando starts busting out eddy gordo moves when?
so they have a guy that walks around and a guy that does the action scenes? why not just have the stuntman do both?
I mean, that's good. He should never take off the helmet, so no need to actually have Pedro in the suit.
Huh, good point.
>I mean
>3.38 mb for a 3 second webm
One needs to act, not fight.
>One needs to act
He's literally walking around and moving his head back and forth
Yes that's too much from a stunt man.
The stuntman costs more per hour than the walking around man.
Different unions, different rules, different pays.
is walking really a stunt in america?
no wonder walkable cities don't exist over there
I fricking knew they CGI'd his head on. The proportions were all fricked up.
pretty sure his head wasn't cgi.
Well then maybe it should have been to fix those fricked up proportions.
Lol at her throwing in that he's Wayne's grandson to save face
>lateef
>Don't worry, we got a nepo baby to replace him
Thank Goodness
just like Darth Vader, what's the issue

I can see that being a thing. That would have been terrible if Baby Yoda was a girl
>record 30 monotone lines once every 3 months
>don't show up on set
>collect $5,000,000
based
>be John fricking Wayne's grandson
>best work you can get is Pedro Pascal's body double
oof
Why should he deserve more work simply for being the grandchild of someone else?
Not saying he deserves it, its just funny when your grandfather was a Hollywood legend and you're basically a disneyland mascot
>disneyland mascot
Fricking kek. Perfect description.
John Wayne had 7 children
I actually wonder, how much would they pay him for just walking and standing over?
nepo baby's deserve nothing.
people thought he was in the suit and not just VA? did you think the fat black guy was in teh darth vader suit?
John Wayne died with a turd the size of a bowling ball in his stomach because of his diet of red meat and cigarettes.
Drink water and eat your vegetables.

This is unprecedented for Star Wars. Only Disney could be so bold.
What's the problem? Works pretty well, as opposed to Book of Boba Fett, even I admit though bald Morrison looks properly grizzled
>lateef
Through Black person logic his mom thought Lateef was the masculine form of Latifah lol
this isnt a secret they showed that was the case for even in season 1 besides a couple parts and the last episode. George entirely redubbed Boba, the clone troopers were cgi so they are all just voiceover. doesnt make the last season any better though
Not surprised and not disappointed…Darth Vader has similar things. Even Darth Maul. Tem and the clones.
Not news.

they used it to try and kickstart the rest of the universe content but it didn't work and just made it shittier
Why not just train an AI to voice him to and then cgi him as well. As long as Pedro likes the post about it it's practically the same thing as him performing.
>LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
James Earl Jones did the same thing voicing Vader. I don't really see why its a problem.
It's been like this since Season 1. Pedro is in the suit like 10% of the time.
why act in a suit and mask when you're highly desirable atm and can do the voice while doing other shit and get paid frick loads
>Laqueef Chowder
What did Disney mean by this?
