also, back in the 80s, at the time this movie would've been released, the only time old people could sex eachother with confidence were at furconventions
In fairness, while the director was gay and put scenes that obviously he liked, the main characters were still heterosexual and the vampires were still weak to Holy weapons.
So it is a movie that can be enjoyed either way.
