Romeo + Juliet
The Franco Zeffereli one is better
I don't watch those types of films.. too painful
What movie?
Paterson (I think)
My girlfriend does this to me all the time and I don't think I'm in love with her. Feels nice though, or it did fifteen pounds ago I should say
Staying with someone you don't care about just so you aren't lonely is even more pathetic than having nobody.
I care about her, and I love her, and she's always pleasant and soothing to have around. But things cool down over the years. Totally different sort of thing from falling head over heels in love with girls I mesh well with that can hold an interesting conversation or display some sort of refreshing (because it's new and unusual) demeanor
The passionate honeymoon phase wont last but being in love will. If you don't feel that your girl is the best thing then maybe she's not it.
It's over.

stopped reading there
Currently reading the book that excerpt is from. It's overall pretty agnostic and has some of the best views on love I've heard yet. (we: understanding the psychology of romantic love)
Whatre the views? That excerpt looks a little tiresome
>tiresome
How so? Book draws a lot from Jung and the myth of tristan and iseult to delve into how our views on romantic love, especially in the west have been twisted into something that is generally unhealthy which is why so many marriages are unstable.
Also covers Jung's view on animus/anima and why it's destructive to yourself to only nurture your masculine side (power, ambition, strive for success etc.) without acknowledging the feminine one (feelings, care, recognizing beauty, etc.) which I suspected to some extent, looking at how so many guys lack nuance in their personality and deviate towards pussywhipped beta and butthole chad (for lack of better words kek)
Tiresome because reading authors that bring up Jung or Freud every other page or paragraph is exhausting. Even when they make a compelling, relevant point (see Christopher Lasch's early books). I would much rather they leave that shit at the door, because unless you're one of the initiated it'll just come off moronic. I don't doubt that contemporary culture is steeped in myths of romantic love, or that its to our detriment, but going on long expositions about about anima or Zen or Buddhism isn't going to do much in the way of convincing.
You don't really love her. Been together for 4 years and still to this day every time she laughs or I see her face in the morning I'm happy. She's better than any other woman and more attractive to me than any actress.
Things do die out but not to the point of preferring to be with other women
good for you
Just tell her to lose weight you Black person
Start taking her out to jog. You have to put in the work to make her what you want her to be. Women are pliable like that.
Drive elevator scene is so beautiful.
This scene established that I'm in love with Scarlett Johansson in a single frame
You get to see her ass crack if you look at that picture
I'll believe it when I see it.
Real talk: What's it like when a hot girl farts?
ive had a few cute gfs and most of them hide farts. the hottest one didnt, ironically, and would just giggle. they reeked. It wasnt cute or anything but it didnt impact our intimacy too negatively
niccce
My girl used to hide them. But once we were sitting and chilling and she said quietly if she can farr. I said sure. And she did. No sound no smell nothing. Still cute
Probably a bunch of scenes from 'In The Mood For Love'.
But recently, the final scene in River always gets me. Underrated show that consistently teases you with a hint of "silliness" considering the show's themes before making you feel uncomfortable and depressed.

I love me some Stellan Skarsgard. The show's good?
It's relatively short. I also really enjoy Skarsgard but went into it expecting a generic detective drama. The dynamic between him and Nicola Walker immideately drew me in.
Stellan Skarsgård lövs ju äs väll
>when kunta kinte meets the plantation owner
lots of man ass thrusting on a fully clothed woman. later we get a brief, dark glimpse of side boob to establish intimacy. later the guy invites his bf to join them in a threesome where the girl wears some really wild PVC getup w/ a strapon
what are you talking about anon?
typical sex scene in 2023
Up scenes with Carl and ellie
Don't give up, fellas. Real love takes work. Don't believe that Disney movie crap that there's a soul mate out there for you. Find a good girl who shares your values and make her your soul mate through the sacrement of Holy Matrimony. Also, don't have sex before marriage, it will literally rip your soul apart.
>Also, don't have sex before marriage, it will literally rip your soul apart.
How?
Dunno about all that but having the kind of sex where youre really into a person and think it’s special just to have them drop you a month later does bad shit to your brain man.
The Village?
Sarah Gadon's love scene in Ferrari
i could only dream of a woman being this kind to me, they’re all so cruel
which kino?
Buffalo 66
been meaning to watch this. is it good?
kinda slow and drags at the beginning but overall worth a watch
ur a frickin idiot if you dont realize Gallo literally writes movies to have the woman fixate and worship him unrealistically
500 days of summer had a few I suppose
Yo this is problematic
>Broken Blossoms or The Yellow Man and the Girl
>It is based on Thomas Burke's short story "The Chink and the Child" from the 1916 collection Limehouse Nights.
it was so beautiful
Don’t have images but one that’s semi-recent actually came from Daredevil, Matt and Paige’s date was cute and shot with some really cool background scenery, it was very nice.
Hands down

I love that Irish lass
extreme kino here
Michael Mann kino
There's a thread for this on /wsg/ but it's all real life. Movies can't do it right.
>ywn fall in love with a mexico-shaped face-tattood fairy
When Jonathan Rhys follows Scarlett Johansson out to the field after her fight with her fiance. Due to surrounding circumstances and social/class boundaries, etc. they know it can't go anywhere, but do it anyway for the moment
This movie made me feel so much pain, because of a couple girls in my past who decided they couldn't be with me for whatever reasons but gave me those few moments of intimate heaven I'll have to bitterly hold on to forever. And all the chest pain that ensues.
I dont really get the ending tho... I mean I guess he realized he'd jumped too quickly on following his heart with her, and forgot it would take away his once in a lifetime opportunity with the elite family who'd taken him in. I'd give anything to get a miracle second chance like that with the one woman in this world I truly loved tho. Sad he concluded to go such an extreme route...
What movie?
Dance and kiss from Heaven Help Us near the end of this clip
why has our culture completely destroyed relationships between early-20s males and late teen-aged women?
The early-20's male boys to the early-30's male.
