post script: there are more lesbians in the posts about the show than there are in the actual show. I don't get why Lower Decks is getting singled out by the "Hey-look-a-lesbian" crowds, but it's not warranted.
I'm still not sure why exactly Vulcans randomly emit psychic waves with a ship-wide radius that make people lose control of their emotions when something is bothering them. Has anything similar ever happened before?
I feel like T'Lynn's heavy focus this season should bother me, but it's handled better than whatever they've done for the entire main cast the past 3 seasons, so not much to complain about.
I'm gonna say good just for committing to cutting their relationship off after her betrayal last season. Most shows would just put them back together and fix it quickly, but this one committed to breaking them up. No backpedaling just to please the shippers.
Mariner has better b***hes now.
>Mariner has better b***hes now.
Freaking this. If they are going to make Mariner a lesbian, at least pair her with Tendi or the Vulcan girl... speaking of which, how is she faring this season? Haven't been able to catch up.
>how is she faring this season?
Romantically? She kissed a dude who was a hologram and that's the extent of it.
In general? She's far more friendly with everyone on board and seems to just be loving life
The show’s commitment to wokeness is only rivaled by its laziness. You’re applauding it for taking the laziest route when it comes to gay rep. It probably wouldn’t be as obnoxious as it was if it weren’t so lazy.
The writers wanted gays in their show for exactly one season to capitalize on the subsequent good press. That’s objectively the slimiest way to do it. But you’ll defend it like a mindless Borg drone anyway so who gives a shit..

She's this season's Ezri, in the sense that the writers realized she should've been added earlier and are giving her a lot of focus to compensate.
Good.

Honestly I think Barnes and Castro are overlooked for that.
Today's episode was a bit predictable.

Yes, this episode explicitly referenced it happening to Spock's father.

I find it weird that the episode basically says T'Lyn was kicked off her ship for having a mental illness.
Bad

Mega
All I know is the newest episode featured three Betazoid mommies and one of them was voiced by Wendie Malick
>three Betazoid mommies
And they most likely where all going though the Phase too.
I think people take this show too seriously. You can look at the number of deleted posts per thread and see yourself. It's stupid.

I'm about to watch the show what am I in for?
Star Trek themed office comedy.
