You usual dragon designs are "dinosaur with wings" (Western) or "snake with legs" (Eastern). This looks like a compromise between the two, and honestly, it looks pretty good.
This, she's hands-down the best designed thing in the movie, and honestly better than the designs in a lot of recent things. I like Luca better than this, but she has a better design than any of the sea monsters in Luca, and a better design than ANYTHING in Lightyear. It's fun, memorable, and visually distinctive.
No one here would be saying a word about this soulless garbage if you weren't trying to rehabilitate Lasseter's image.
