Madame Web is the next kino in Sony's Spider-Man Universe
Venom and Venom 2 were fun, but that's entirely because symbiotes are awesome and Tom Hardy is a one-man show. Morbius and Kraven are boring because they don't have any cool concepts in them, and their lead actors are bland, and no cool villains either. Madame Web will live or die based on breasts and ass.

If we get Sweeney as Julia Carpenter in the black and white Spider-Woman costume, this movie justifies it's existence.

after morbius/venom 2 Im pretty much tuned out of sony's efforts. they've burned me too many times and now I just feel apathetic about the entire ordeal. I really wanted morbius to be good because I liked the character but we got stuck with an elektra tier half baked shitflick. I entirely expect kraven to be the same deal since they're aiming to make an antihero tarzan figure of him for no good reason. really the only bit of good sony has done within the last 7 years is cancelling the el muerto movie.
anyways this madame web movie sounds like total shit. if it were upto me I'd have gotten christinia hendricks to play madame webb instead of johnson.
