It is historically accurate that the Spartans thought the Athenians were pussies

It's funny because the Spartans were basically the only Greek power to regularly drill their soldiers whereas Athens and others didn't because they just thought themselves, as free Greeks, to be superior and valorous by default and needed not to regularly train in the ways of war.
        Whose the pussies now???

FYI the Spartans were so ashamed about this act of killing the envoys that years later they sent 2 of their citizens to Persia to offer themselves up to be executed to atone for it, but the chad Persian king refused and said that having to live with the shame is what they deserved.

Yeah so what, he also said there were a gorillion Persians at Thermopylae.
Ancient historians are prone to exaggerate.

fun fact: this was taken completely out of this posters ass

oh yeah well, I bet you didnt know the Second ruling King of Sparta was a jackwagon who abused based and redpilled Demaratus inadvertently sending Demaratus to Asia where he became best friend to the Persian king.

      also:
Last stand of the Fabia Gens is an actual final stand of 300 men. Thermopylae was played up, the Spartans were not alone and the Persians were not an endless horde.

Based fake story maker. But demaratus would be a roman spelling, Greeks would use os ending
