In the original Snow White film, they call him "slave in the magic mirror". Kinda interesting that they used this verboten word.
In the next movie it will be revealed that Chernabog was actually a king who granted safety for everyone except terrorists to his town, and the quirky adorable protagonist rebelled against this because "You have to stop calling them that" and turns him into the devil chained to the mountain forever
